2사람 이상이 다루어야 안전합니다.

4-1. 유수판 설치 / Ins talling the oil pan
1. 두부 쿠션②를 유수판① 모서리에 삽입 시키십시오.
2. 두부 쿠션③을 유수판① 모서리에 삽입 시키십시오.
1. Insert the two head cushions② into the front corner of the
oil pan①.
2. Insert the two head cushions③ into the back corner of the
oil pan①.
3. 작업 테이블의 유수판 홈에 일치되게 정열 삽입 하십시오.
3. Place the oil pan① into the groove in the work table so
that corners are aligned.
4. 2개의 힌지 쿠션 고무④를 테이블의 홈 부에 삽입 시키십시오.

1. 무릎올림 장치 조립품①을 유수판의 무릎올림 레바축②에 결합
시킨 후 볼트③를 완전히 체결해 주십시오.
※ 무릎올림 장치 조립품①의 무릎 올림 판의 위치를 조절하여
사용하기 전 편한 위치를 선정하십시오.
1. Place the knee lifter assembly① onto the knee lifter bar② on
the oil pan, and then secure it by tightening the bolt③
※ Adjust the position of the knee lifter plate① so that it is
easy to use.

2. 무릎 올림 장치 조절.
1) 풀리를 돌려 톱니가 침판에서 가장 낮은 위치에 두십시오.
2) 노루발을 아래의 위치에 두기 위해서는 무릎 올림 레바④를
사용합니다.
3) 너트⑥을 풉니다.
4) 나사⑧을 조절하여 무릎 올림 장치⑦의 운동량을 조절합니다.
무릎 올림판에 약간의 힘을 주었을 시 약 2mm가 적당합니다.
5) 나사⑥을 꽉 조여 주십시오.
6) 너트⑨를 풉니다.
7) 나사⑩을 조절하여 나사의 끝 면과 무릎 올림대가 약8mm의
간격을 유지하도록 합니다.
8) 나사⑩을 조절하여 노루발⑤이 침판에서 15mm높은 위치에
고정시 킵니다. 이때 무릎 올림판①은 완전히 작동된 상태에
서 조절을 하셔야 합니다.
9) 완전히 조절 후 너트⑨을 완전히 조여 주십시오.
2. Adjust the knee lifter.
1) Turn the machine pulley so that the feed dog is below the
top of the needle plate.
2) Lower the presser foot⑤ by using the presser bar lifter④
3) Loosen the nut⑥.
4) Turn the screw⑧ to adjust so that the amount of play in
the knee lifter⑦ is approximately 2mm when the knee lifter
plate① is gently pressed.
5) Securely tighten the nut⑥.
6) Loosen the nut⑨.
7) Turn the screw⑩ until the distance between the end of the
screw⑩ and the knee lifter⑦ is approximately 8mm
8) Turn the adjusting screw⑩ to adjust so that the presser
foot⑤ is at the desired position within a distance of
13mm of the needle plate when the knee lifter plate① is
fully pressed.
9) After adjustment is completed, securely tighten the nut.

4-3. 벨트 설치 / Installing the belt
1. 기계두부를 뒤로 경사지게 위치시킨 후 벨트①를 모터풀리에
걸고 다음에 기계 풀리에 거십시오.
2. 너트②를 조절하여 V벨트①의 중간부분의 간격이 10-14mm,
장력이 5N이 되도록 하십시오.
1. Tilt back the machine head, and then place the belt① onto
the motor pulley and the machine pulley.
2. Turn the two nuts② to adjust so that there is 10-14mm of
deflection in the V-belt① when it is pressed at the midway
point with a force of 5N.
4-4. 밑실 감는 법 / Installing the bobbin winder
1. 사권의 누름레바①을 눌러 작동 시키십시오.
2. 사권의 보빈 휠③이 벨트와 맞닿아 약5mm의 간격을 유지
하도록 설치하십시오.
3. 나사⑤를 고정하여 사권을 완전히 고정 시키십시오.
4. 사권의 누름레바①를 후진 시켰을 때 사권의 보빈 휠과 벨트
와의 간격이 약 8mm가 되어야 합니다.
1. Push down the bobbin presser arm① as far as it will go.
2. Place the bobbin winder wheel② so that it pushes the belt
③ by approximately 5mm, and then place the bobbin winder
④ so that it is parallel with the belt hole in the work table.
3. Install the bobbin winder④ to the work table with the two
screws⑤.
4. Pull the bobbin presser arm① back and check that there is
approximately 8mm of clearance between the bobbin winder
wheel② and the belt.
4-5. 벨트 커버 조립법 / Installing the belt cover
1. 벨트커버②를 벨트커버①에 삽입 시키십시오. 그리고 벨트커버
③를 벨트커버②의 홈에 장착 하십시오.
2. 벨트커버를 설치 후 벨트가 원활히 작동이 되어야 바른 설치
입니다.
1. Insert the cover③ of belt cover② in between the belt cover
② and belt cover② and then place it into the groove of
belt cover②
2. Slide the cover③ down along the groove of belt cover② as
far as it will go.

★ 급유가 완전히 끝날때까지 전원을 연결하지 마십시오. 오작동에 의한 상해의 원인이 됩니다. .
★ Do not connect the power cord until lubrication, otherwise the machine may operate if the treadle is pressed by
mi stake, wh ich cou ld result in inju ry.
★ 반드시 급유시엔 보호안경과 보호장갑을 착용하십시오. 그렇지않으면 급유시에 당신의 눈과 피부에 접촉되어 감염이
될 수도 있습니다. 또한 기름의 보관은 어린이의 손이 닿지 않는곳에 보관하십시오.
★ Be sure to wear protective goggles and gloves when handling the lubricating oil and grease, so that they do not get
into your eyes or onto your skin, otherwise inflammation can result. Furthermore, do not drink the oil or eat the
grease under any circu mstan ces, as they can cause vomiting and diarrhoe a. Keep th e oil out of the reach of c hildren.
4-6. 사립봉 부착법 / Installing the cotton stand
1. 그림과 같이 테이블의 오늘 쪽 코너에 실패꽃이①를 부착시켜
주십시오.
※ 사립봉이 움직이지 않도록 고무쿠션③과 와셔를 넣은뒤
너트②를 견고하게 체결합니다.
1. Assemble the cotton stand①, and then install the cotton
stand① to the far right corner of the work table.
※ Securely tighten the nuts② so that the rubber cushion③
and the washers are securely clamped and so that the
cotton stand does not move.
4-7. 급유 / Lubrication
☞ 처음사용시나 장기간 사용치 않다가 사용시에는 구동전에
기름이 충분히 채워져 있어야 합니다.
☞ 기름의 종류는 자사에서 공급된 기름을 사용하십시오.
☞ 미싱두부를 뒤로 젖힌뒤 HIGH 표시선까지 급유하십시오.
※ 기름의 양이 LOW 표시보다 아래이면 기름을 보충하여 주십시오
.
☞ The sewing machine should always be lubricated and the oil
supply replenished before it is used for the first time, and
also after long periods of non-use.
☞ Use only the lubricating oil specified by Unicorn.
☞ Tilt back the machine head and slowly pour in lubricating oil
until the oil level reaches the HIGH mark.
※ If the oil level drops below the LOW mark, and more
lubricating oi l.

5. 봉재전 준비 / PREPARATION BEFORE SEWING
★ 바늘의 설치시에는 전원을 꺼 주십시오. 그렇지않으면 오작동으로 인한 상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ Turn off the power switch before installing the needle, otherwise the machine may operate if the treadle is pressed
by mistake, which could result in injury.
★ 북집의 제거전 전원을 꺼 주십시오. 그렇지않으면 오작동으로 인한 상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ Turn off the power switch before removing the bobbin case, otherwise the machine may operate if the treadle is
p resse d by mistake, wh ich cou ld resul t in i nju ry.
5-1. 바늘의 설치 / Installing the needle
1. 풀리를 움직여 침봉이 최상점에 위치하도록 회전시킵니다.
2. 나사①을 풀어줍니다.
3. 바늘②의 긴 홈을 왼쪽방향으로 하여 맞닿는 데까지 삽입시킨후
나사①을 견고하게 체결합니다.
1. Turn the machine pulley to move the needle bar to its highest
position.
2. Loosen the screw①.
3. Insert the needle② in a straight line as far as it will go, making
sure that the long groove on the needle is at the left, and then
securely tighten the screw①.
5-2. 북집의 분리 / Removing the b obbin case
1. 풀리를 돌려 바늘이 침판 위에 위치하도록 합니다.
2. 북집 손잡이①를 잡고 위로 당겨 북집 케이스를 분리하십시오.
3. 실토리②는 북집 케이스 분리 시 함께 분리 됩니다.
※ 북집 ②의 회전방지 스프링③은 사절시 북집이 회전하는 것을
방지해 사절을 가능하게 합니다.
※ 북집②은 가능한 경합금(알루미늄)에 의해 만들어진 유니콘
제품을 사용하십시오.
1. Turn the machine pulley to raise the needle until it is abov e
the needle plate.
2. Pull the latch① of the bobbin case upward and then
remove the bobbin case.
3. The bobbin② will come out when the latch① is released.
※ There is an anti-spin spring③ inside the bobbin case.
The anti-spin sprin g③ prevents the bobbin from racing at
times such as during thread trimming.
※ Use bobbins② made of light alloy as specified by Unicorn.

5-3. 밑실 감는 법 / Winding the lower thread
1. 전원을 OFF 시키십시오.
2. 실토리①를 사권축②에 삽입 시키십시오.
3. 그림에서 보는 방향으로 실토리에 실을 몇 번 감으십
시오.
4. 사권 작동 레바③를 전진시키십시오.
5. 무릎 올림을 이용해서 노루발을 올립니다.
6. 패달을 밝아 사권 실토리에 실을 감습니다.
7. 사권에 실이 완전히 감기게 되면 레바③는 자동으로
원위치 됩니다.
8. 실토리에 실이 완전히 감기면 분리하시고 그림과
같이 칼에 잘라 주시면 됩니다.
※ 만약 실토리에 실이 규칙적으로 감기지 않으면 나사
④를 풀어 실토리 가이드 위치를 옮겨 가며 위치를
수정해 보십시오.
※
다음과 같은 상황 시 나사⑥을 풀어 조절해 보십시오.
☞ 실토리의 감기는 실의 양이 많을시: 나사를 잠금
방향으로 조절.
☞ 실토리의 감기는 실의 양이 적을시: 나사의 풀림
방향으로 조절.
▶ 실토리에는 최대 총량의 80%를 초과하여 감지 마십
시오. 최상의 상태를 유지할 수 없습니다.
1. Turn on the power switch.
2. Place the bobbin① onto the bobbin winder shaft②.
3. Wind the thread several times around the bobbin①
in the direction indicated by the arrow.
4. Push down the bobbin presser arm③.
5. Raise the presser foot with the presser foot lifter.
6. Depress the treadle. Lower thread winding will her
then start.
7. Once winding of the lower thread is completed. the
bobbin presser arm③ will return automatically.
8. Remove the bobbin and trim the thread as shown in
the illustration.
※ If the thread cannot be wound on evenly, loosen the
screw④ and move the bobbin winder guide⑤ to the
side where there is less thread.
※ Turn the adjustment screw⑥ to adjust the bobbin
winding amount.
☞ To increase the winding amount : Tighten the screw.
☞ To decrease the winding amount : Loosen the screw.
▶ The amount of thread wound onto the bobbin should
be a maximum of 80% of the bobbin capacity.

★ 북 집 탈착 시 반드시 전원을 OFF시켜 주십시오. 그렇지 않으면 폐달 오작동으로 인한 상해의 원인이 됩니다.

pressed by mistake, which could result in injury.
★ 윗실 끼울 시 반드시 전원을 OFF시켜 주십시오. 그렇지 않으면 폐달 오작동으로 인한 상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ Turn off the power switch before threading the upper thread, otherwise the machine may operate if the treadle
is pressed by mistake, which could result in inju ry.
5-4. 밑실 설치 법 / Ins talling the bobbin cas e
1. 풀리를 돌려 바늘이 침판 위에 위치하도록 합니다.
2. 실토리를 감기는 방향이 오른쪽으로 향하게 한 다음 북집커버에
삽입 시킵니다.
3. 실을 홈①사이로 끼워서 실조절판 스프링②의 밑으로 걸어주십
시오.
4. 실을 오른 방향으로 당겨 실이 빠져 나오는지 확인 하십시오.
5. 북집커버의 손잡이를 잡고 북집에 결합시켜 부십시오.
1. Turn the machine pulley to raise the needle until it is above
the needle plate.
2. While holding the bobbin so that the tread winds to the
right, insert the bobbin into the bobbin case.
3. Pass the thread through the slot① and under the tension
spring②, and then pull it out from the thread guide③.
4. Check that the bobbin turns clockwise when the thread is pulled.
5. Hold the latch④ on the bobbin case and insert the bobbin
case into the rotary hook.
5-5. 윗실 조절 법 / Threading the upper thread
☞ 윗실을 끼우기 전 먼저 천평①을 상부 점으로 이동하십
시오. 재봉 시작점까지 그림의 순서에 따라 실을 끼워
주십시오.
☞ Raise the thread take-up lever① before threading the
upper thread. This will make threading easier and it will
prevent the thread from coming out at the sewing start.

5-6. 땀수 조절 법 / Adjus ting the stitch length
☞ 땀수조절 다이얼①을 사용자가 원하는 땀수의 숫자에
핀②과 평행하게 일치 시킵니다.
※ 다이얼의 숫자가 클수록 큰 땀수가 만들어집니다.
※ 땀수를 조절시에는 큰 땀수에서 작은 땀수로 이동하십 시오.
역전 레바③ 작동 시 반 정도의 작동으로 쉽게 다이얼이
조정 됩니다.
☞ Turn the feed adjustment dial① until the desired stitch

※ The larger the number, the longer the stitch length will be.
※ When turning the feed adjustment dial① from a larger
setting to a smaller setting. it will be easier to turn the
dial if the reverse stitching lever③ is pushed to the
half-way-down position.
5-7. 실채기 사용법 / Using the thread wiper
☞ 실채기 스위치를 ON 시킨다. 실채기가 켜져있으면 사절
후엔 실채기가 작동이 된다.
☞ Press the thread wiper switch① to the ⊡ side. If this
is done, the thread wiper② will operate after the
thread is trimmed.
