3. 테 이블과 모타 (W ORK TABLE AND MOTOR)
■ 테이블 (WORK TABLE)
☞ 시중 판매되는 테이블 사용의 경우 (If using a commercially-available table)
☞ 테이블 두께는 40mm로, 미싱의 질량, 진동에 견딜 수 있는 강도의 것을 사용하십시오.
( The top of the table should be 40mm in thickness and should be strong enough to hold the weight and
withstandthe vibration of the sewing machine. )
☞ 그림을 참고하여 구멍을 뚫는 가공을 하여 주십시오. (Drill holes as indicated in the illustration below.)

■ 모타 (MOTOR)
☞ 모타는 오른쪽 표의 물품을 사용하여 주십시오.

☞ 모타 풀리와 벨트의 관계는 아래를 참조하여 선택하여 주십시오. 벨트는 M형 V벨트입니다.

설치 / INSTALLATION
★ 기계 설치 시 반드시 숙련된 기술자가 설치하도록
하십시오.
★ 전기 작동 부 조작 필요시 자사의 A/S 센터로
연락 주시거나, 숙련된 기술자가 조작을 하셔야
합니다.
★ 본 기계는 30㎏ 이상의 무게를 가지고 있으므로
2사람 이상이 옮겨야 안전합니다.
★ 설치가 완전히 끝날 때까지 전원 코드를 연결
하지 마십시오. 그렇지 않으면 폐달 오작동으로
인한 상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ 접지가 설치되어 있는지 확인하십시오. 만약
접지 설치가 확실치 않을시 전기 충격 발생시
치명적인 상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ 벨트 커버는 반드시 기계 상부와 모터에 설치
하신 후 사용하십시오.

★ Ask your Unicorn dealer or a qualified
electrician for any electrical work that may
need to be done.
★ The sewing machine weights more than 31㎏
The installation should be carried out by two
or more people.
★ Do n ot con nect the po we r c ord u ntil
installation is complete, otherwise the
machine will operate if the treadle is
pressed by mistake, which could result in
injury.
★ Be sure to connect the ground. if the
ground connection is no t secure, you ru n
a high risk of receiving a serious electric
shock, and problems with correct operation
may also occur.
★ Install the belt cover to the machine head.
4. 설 치 방법 (INSTALLATION)
4-1 미싱 두부의 설치 방법 (Installing the machine head)
1. 미싱의 베드①에, 풀리카바받침대②를 육각볼트③
(2개)와 와셔④(2개)로 조립합니다.
2. 베드 밑면의 구멍에 쿠션⑤(2개)을 끼운다.
1. Install pulley cover base② on machine bed① with
two hexagonal bolts③(2pcs) and two washers④(2pcs).
2. Insert two bar cushions⑤(2pcs) into the holes in
he the bottom of the bed.
※ 이때 육각 볼트③(2개) 를 풀리카바받침대②의
끝부분 홈의 가장 안쪽 부분 또는, 풀리카바
받침대②가 베드에 대하여 평행으로 되어
있는 상태를 확인합니다.
( 평행으로 되지 않으면 풀리카바가 풀리에
접촉하고 있는 상태로 있습니다. )
※ At this time, install the two hexagonal bolts③
(2pcs) so that they go as far as possible
into the notches in the pulley cover base
②.
Furthermore, check that the pulley base②
is parallel to the bed.
( If it is not parallel, the pulley cover may
touch the machine pulley. )
3. 테이블에 미싱을 올리고, 미싱의 전후 방향 위치는
누름대 올림체인⑥의 통과
구멍과 일치, 좌우
방향의 위치는 벨트의 홈구
멍⑩에 일치합니다.
3. Place the machine head on the table, adjust its
position in forward and backward directions by
aligning it with the hole for presser bar lifter
cha in⑥, and in sidewise directions by aligning
it with belt hole⑩.
4. 미싱의 베드와 풀리카바받침대에 쿠션⑦(2개)을
고정나사⑧(2개)로 취부하고나서, 목나사⑨(2개)
로 테이블에 고정합니다.
※ 미싱 두 부가 수평일 때 테이블을 설치합니다.
수평이 되지 않으면 급유가 불안전하게 됩니다.
4. After fastening cushions⑦(2pcs) to the
m
achines bed and
pulley cover base with
set screws⑧(2pcs), fix them
to the
table
with screws⑨(2pcs)
※ Place the work table so that the machine
head is horizontal. If the machine head is
not horizontal, lubrication will not be carried
out correctly.
5. 체인⑥을 무릎올림레바⑪와 발판⑫에 조립
합니다.
5. Connect the presser bar lifter chain⑥ to the
knee lifter lever⑪ and the presser lifter pedal
⑫.
4-2 어스 접속 방법 (Ground wire connections)
어스선을 미싱 두부와 모타에 접속합니다.
(적절하게 어스선과 와셔를 준비하여 주십시오.)
1. 실안내(하) 고정나사②를 분해합니다.
2. 어 스선①을 고정나사 ②와 와 셔③도 미싱두부
에 체결합니다.
3. 어스선①을 테이블 구멍의 아래로 통과시킵니다.
..
4. 어스선①을 모타에 접속합니다.
Connect the ground wire to the sewing machinehead and
motor.
(Prepare and Use the correct type of ground wire and washer)
1. Remove lower thread guide holder screws②.
2. Secure the ground wire① to the sewing machine head with
screw② and washer③.
3. Pass the ground wire① through the hole in the table.
4. Connect the ground wire① to the motor.
4-3 벨트카 바 조립 ( Installing the pulley cover)
1. 미싱 풀리①에 벨트②를 겁니다.
1. Place the bel② onto the machine pulley①.
2. 벨트카바 ④ 안에 풀리와 벨트②가 들어가게 한 후
단나사③(3개)로써 풀리카바받침대에 조립합니다.
2. Plac e pulle y cover
④ so that it is in between the eight pulley
seats, and then secure it to
the pulley cover base with the
four screws
③(3pcs)
.
4-4 벨트 장력 조절 방법
(Belt tension adjustment)
1. 미싱 풀리①와 모터풀리②에 V벨트를 겁니다.
2. V벨트③의 중앙을 9.8N(1Kgf)의 힘으로 눌렀을
때,
20~30mm
정도에서 너트④를 조립합니다.
1. Place the V-belt onto the machine pulley① and motor
pulley②.
2. Turn the two nuts
④ to adjust so that there is 20-30mm
of deflection in the V-belt
③ when it is pressed at the
midway point with a force of 9.8N(1Kgf)
.
4-5 사립대 (Cotton stand)
1. 테이블에 너트①로 견고하게 체결합니다.
1. Assemble and install the cotton stand to the
cotton stand mounting hole in the work table
with the nut①.
4-6 급유방법 (Lubrication)
☞
처음 미싱을 사용하는 경우, 또는 장시간 사용하지
않았을 경우는 필히 급유하여 주십시
오.
☞
윤활유는 유니콘 지정 오일을 사용하여 주십시오.
1. 밑실카바①를 열고 유량계창②의 중앙까지 윤활유를
넣습니다.
2. 침봉붓싱(상) 급유구멍③에 1주일에 1회 1~2방울
급유합니다.
3. 베드 기름받이 앞에 고여 있는 기름은 때때로
배유나사⑤를 분해하여 기름을 빼냅니다. 기름을
빼낸후 배유나사⑤를
조립합니다.
4. 베드 기름받이④ 뒤에 고여 있는 기름은 때때로
천 등으로 닦아줍니다.
5. 풀리를 회전하여 나사⑦가 윗방향에 있는 상태에서
나사⑦를 풀고, 기름탱크에 가득 히 기름을 채웁니다.
윤활유가 기름탱크 중심선⑨ 이하로 되면 상축
안으로 윤활유가 들어가지 않게 되어서, 급유가
불완전하게 되므로, 필히 기름량은 탱크중심선
위로 보충하여 주십시오.
6. 나사⑦를 조립합니다.
☞ The sewing machine should always be
lubrica ted
and the oil supply replenished before it is used for the first time,
and also after long periods of non-use.
☞ Use only the lubricating oil specified by Unicorn.
1. Open the front cover①, and then fill with oil until the oil level reaches the point in between the reference lines on
the oil gauge②
.
2. Add 1-2 drops of oil once a week to needle bar bracket lubrication hole③.
3. Periodically loosen the oil drain screw⑤ to drain
out any oil which collects in the front bed oil sump.
After draining the oil, tighten the oil drain screw⑤.
4. Periodically wipe away any oil which collects in the rear bed oil sump④ with a cloth.
5. Turn the machine pulley, so that screw
⑦ is facing upward, and then remove the screw
⑦ and fill the oil tank.
If the level of lubricating oil drops below the middle reference line⑨on the oil tank, no oil will be drawn into the
upper shaft, and the upper shaft will thus not be lubricated sufficiently.
Be sure to maintain the lubricating oil level at a level above the center reference line.
6. Attach the screw⑦.
★ 사용하기 전 바늘 설치 시 반드시 전원을 OFF시켜 주십시오. 그렇지 않으면 폐달 오작동으로
인한 상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ Turn off th e power switch be fore installing the needle, othe rwise the machine may operate if the
treadle is pressed by mistake , whic h c ould result in injury.
5. 봉 재전의 준비 (P REPARATION BEFORE SEWING)
5-1 바늘과 실 (Needles and threads)
바늘과 실은 봉제 조건에 의해 다르지만, 아래표를 참고하여 선택해 주십시오.
( The needles and threads to be used very depending on sewing conditions. Select the correct ones by
referring to the table below. )

5-2 바늘을 끼우는 법 (Installing the needles)
1. 미싱풀리를 돌려서 침포①를 최상점에 둡니다.
2. 바늘고정나사②를 풀고 바늘③의 긴홈을 전방을 향하게 하고, 침포①에 바늘고정나사②를 체결합니다
.
1. Turn the pulley until needle holder① is raised to the highest position.
2. Loosen needle set screws②, hold needles③ with the long grooved side facing front, insert them into
needle h older① all the way, and fasten the needle with needle set screws②.
★ 아래실을 끼울시 반드시 전원을 OFF시켜 주십시오. 그렇지 않으면 폐달 오작동으로 인한
상해의 원인이 됩니다.
★ Turn off the power switch before threadling the lower thread, otherwise the machine
may operate if the treadle is pressed by mistake, which could result in injury.
5-3 아래실 을 끼우는 법 (Threading the lower threads)
☞ 아래실은 아래그림을 이용하여 틀림없이 통과하여 주십시오.
☞ Pass the lower thre ads as shown in the figure box.
