mode,alwaysremember toturnoff thesignalonce used.
Thishemet wasnotdesigned formotorvehicleuse,neitherforsporting.Everytimeyouusethis helmet
checkif nothingis torn,worn,missing, oroutof adjustment.This helmetshould notbe used bychildren.
Yourhelmethas a built-inbattery.Becarefultofollow all thesafetyguidelines.

Acorrect fittedhelmetshould sitcomfortablyon yourhead withoutpressingor chafingand should
notmovefowardtoobscure yourvisionorreawardtoexposeyourforehead.Pleasemakesurethe
helmetis positionedthe right way.
Besure topositionthe buckle underthe chin andbackagainst the throat.The strapsshould fit
comfortablyaround yourears. Testthese adjustmentsbeforeeveryride. 6

Adjustyourbuckles
TolocktheMagnetic bucklesbring the twopartstogetheruntiltheysnap.Tounlock them,slidethem
sidewaysasshownbelow.Tokeepthe chinstrapfromloosening orflapping, it mustbe tuckedthrough
thekeeper.

follow these steps.

Installation
Attach the docktoyourhandlebarusing 1 ofthe rubberbandsincluded in thepackage.Doso by
loopingthe band inthe centerofthe dock asshown below.Place the remote on thedockand twistit
clockwisetolock itintoplace.

5.Moreaboultyour helmet
Nohelmet canprotecttheweareragainst all posibleimpacts.Asevereimpact, sharpobject,
imporoperuse,or incorrectadjustmentcould causeconditions beyondtheprotectionofthe helmet.
Tobeeffective,a helmetmust fitand be worncorrectly. The helmetis designedtobe retainedbya
strapunder thelowerjaw.Tocheckforcorrect fit,place the helmeton yourhead andmakeany
adjustmentsinducated.Securelyfastenretentionsystem. Graspthe helmetand try torotate it tothe
frontand rear.A correctly fittedhelmetshould becomfortableand shouldnotmovefowardto
obscurevision orreawardtoexposethe forehead.Failing toproperlyposition the helmetcan result
insereious injurytoyouorothers.
Thehelmet isdesigned toabsorb shockbypartialdestruction ofthe shell andliner.Thisdamage
maynotbe visible.Therefore,if subjectedtoa severeblow,thehelmet shouldbe destroyedand
replacedevenifit appears undamaged.Thehelmethasa limitedlifespaninuse and shouldbe
replacedwhen itshowsobvioussigns ofwear.Helmetspartslose strengthovertime,so evenifthe
helmethas notbeen impactedordamaged, replaceitafterthree years.

Storeyourhelmet inadry place,awayfromexcessiveheat soulrceslikeradiators,automobiletrunks
ordirect sunlight.Clean yourhelmet onlyusing a slightydamp softcloth orsponge.
Thehelmet canbe damaged usingchemicalcleaners, specialypetroleumbasesolvents.
Replaceyourhelmetif thereis anysign or hintof damage,DO NOTusea damaged helmet.Using a
damagedhelmet orwornmayresultinmore seriousinjuries in theeventofafall.
Innerpads areremovableand canme washedbyhand with mildsoapand water,rinsedanddried.
Theprotectionofthis helmetmaybeseverlyreducedbytheaplication ofpaint, adhesivestickersand
transfers,cleaning fluids, chemicals,andothersolvents.
Neverremoveormodify the originalelementsthatconstitutethe helmet,or add anyaccesories not
recommendedbyUnit 1Gear, Inc.,this mayaffectthe protectiongivenbythehelmet.
