Importantes Instrucciones de Seguridad
• Este aparato solo puede ser conectado a una red de
suministro eléctrico acorde al voltaje especicado en la
placa de identicación.
• No tire del cable eléctrico para desenchufar el aparato;
tome el enchufe y retírelo del tomacorriente.
• Si el cable eléctrico está dañado, éste debe ser
reemplazado por personal técnico calicado; de lo
contrario, se deberá eliminar el aparato.
• No use el hervidor si ha sufrido algún golpe, se
encuentra dañado o ha sido sumergido en agua.
Importante
Cualquier tipo de reparaciones deben ser efectuadas
por personal debidamente calicado, de lo contrario, se
deberá eliminar el aparato. Se pueden producir daños
considerables al no efectuar las reparaciones correctas.
• No retire la tapa al hervir el agua.
• Siempre desenchufe el hervidor :
− Antes de limpiarlo y al llenarlo con agua
− Después de usarlo
− Si ocurre cualquier situación anómala cuando se
encuentre en uso

Instrucciones de Seguridad
• No exceda la capacidad máxima de llenado ya que
puede salpicar agua al hervir.
• ADVERTENCIA: Ubique la boca del hervidor en una
posición que la salida del vapor esté lejos del mango.
• ADVERTENCIA: No levante la tapa cuando el agua está
hirviendo.
• ADVERTENCIA: El hervidor sólo se puede usar sobre la
base eléctrica incluida.
• ADVERTENCIA: No se puede sumergir el hervidor en
agua ni en otros líquidos.
• ADVERTENCIA: No use el hervidor sobre una supercie
inclinada; no lo use sin agua, no lo mueva cuando está
encendido.
• ADVERTENCIA: Las labores de limpieza y cuidado del
hervidor pueden ser realizadas por niños sólo si están
debidamente supervisados por un adulto.
• ADVERTENCIA: Este aparato puede ser usado por
niños a partir de los 8 años si están debidamente
supervisados o han recibido las instrucciones necesarias
acerca de cómo usarlo en forma segura y comprenden
los riesgos asociados. Mantenga el aparato y el cable
eléctrico fuera del alcance de los niños pequeños.
• Este aparato ha sido diseñado para uso doméstico y en
lugares como los siguientes:
• Espacios de cocina en tiendas, ocinas o en otros
ambientes de trabajo

• por clientes en hoteles, moteles y otros ambientes
residenciales similares;
• Este aparato no ha sido diseñado para ser utilizado por
personas (incluyendo niños) con discapacidades físicas,
sensoriales o mentales, o por personas que no cuentan
con la experiencia ni los conocimientos necesarios acerca
de su uso, a menos que se encuentren supervisadas
por una persona responsable de su seguridad o hayan
recibido las instrucciones de seguridad necesarias.
• Si hay niños cerca cuando el hervidor está en uso, es
necesario supervisarlos para evitar que jueguen con el
aparato.
• Se debe evitar que los niños tengan acceso al material
de embalaje (p.ej., bolsas plásticas).
• Antes de usar el hervidor, asegúrese de que el cable
eléctrico y el enchufe estén secos.
• No use el hervidor con las manos mojadas.
• No use el hervidor en lugares abiertos.
• Mantenga el hervidor a una distancia mínima de 10 cms
de las paredes o de otros objetos cuando se encuentra
en uso.
• Coloque el hervidor sobre una supercie resistente al
calor.

• Cuando el hervidor está en uso, el agua caliente puede
salpicar y producir quemaduras si no es manipulado con
el debido cuidado. Sostenga el hervidor sólo del mango
(G).
• No deje el hervidor desatendido cuando esté en uso.
No coloque el hervidor sobre supercies calientes o
cerca de llamas abiertas.
• Siempre llene primero el hervidor con agua antes de
enchufarlo.
• No vierta agua helada dentro del hervidor
inmediatamente después de que el agua ha terminado
de hervir.
• Asegúrese de que la cantidad de agua del hervidor se
encuentre sobre el nivel mínimo. No haga funcionar el
hervidor sin agua o con poca agua.
• Atención: Si excede el nivel máximo, puede salpicar
agua al hervir.
Desconexión Automática
El hervidor se desconectará automáticamente y el
indicador de encendido (E) se apagará al hervir el agua
o al retirarlo de la base.
Una vez hervida el agua, el hervidor se desconectará
automáticamente.
Si desea interrumpir el proceso de calentar el agua antes
de que comience a hervir, simplemente mueva el switch
de Encendido / Apagado (F) (On/O) a la posición de
Apagado.
Si el hervidor contiene poca agua, se puede demorar un
poco más en desconectarse.
Using your kettle
Antes de usar el hervidor, limpie el interior y el exterior
con un paño húmedo para retirar los residuos del proceso
de fabricación.
Uso Inicial
· Instale la base eléctrica del hervidor sobre una supercie
nivelada. La base debe estar seca.
· Si el cable eléctrico está muy largo, enróllelo y guárdelo
en la base del hervidor.
· Abra la tapa.
· Llene el hervidor con agua fría hasta alcanzar el nivel de
capacidad MAX.
· Cierre la tapa hasta que quede correctamente
enganchada. El switch automático sólo funcionará
de manera conable cuando la tapa se encuentra
correctamente cerrada. Retire el exceso de agua del
hervidor.
· Coloque el hervidor sobre la base eléctrica en la
dirección que desee.
· Enchufe el cable eléctrico en un tomacorriente.
· Presione el Switch de Encendido / Apagado (On/O) a
la posición de encendido (On); el indicador de encendido
se iluminará y el hervidor comenzará a calentar el agua.
· El Switch de Encendido / Apagado sólo opera cuando el
hervidor está sobre la base eléctrica.
· No tome el agua de los primeros dos ciclos de hervido.
· Tenga cuidado de no salpicar agua sobre la base
eléctrica.
· Para recalentar el agua, revise que el nivel de capacidad
se encuentre sobre el nivel MIN. Si es necesario, agregue
más agua y luego coloque el hervidor sobre la base
eléctrica. Presione el switch de Encendido / Apagado a
la posición ON. Puede desconectar el hervidor (O) al
observar en el termómetro que el agua se ha calentado
a la temperatura deseada (H), levantando el switch de
Encendido / Apagado (On/O).
· Al rellenar el hervidor con agua, tenga cuidado y evite
quemarse con el vapor caliente al levantar/abrir la tapa.
Instrucciones de Limpieza y Cuidado
· Desenchufe el hervidor del tomacorriente antes de
limpiarlo.
· Deje enfriar el hervidor antes de limpiarlo.
· No lave el hervidor ni la base bajo un chorro de agua ni
lo sumerja en agua.
· Ocasionalmente enjuague el interior del hervidor con
agua limpia.
· Limpie el exterior del hervidor con agua limpia.
· Use sólo un paño húmedo para limpiar el exterior del
hervidor. No use productos de limpieza abrasivos ni
cáusticos.
Eliminación de Sarro
· Llene el hervidor con agua de la llave hasta la mitad y
luego agregue el jugo de 1 limón.
· Hierva la mezcla y déjela reposar por 15 minutos. Vuelva
a hervir la mezcla y déjela reposar otros 15 minutos.
Repita este proceso por tercera vez y luego enjuague
bien el hervidor.
· Alternativamente, puede usar un producto anti-sarro
disponible en el mercado. Asegúrese de seguir las
instrucciones contenidas en el envase del producto
utilizado.
Disposición
Material de embalaje
Los materiales de embalaje utilizados en este producto
son ambientalmente seguros y pueden ser reciclados.
Los componentes plásticos se encuentran identicados
con los símbolos respectivos – PE – PS – etc.
Los materiales de embalaje deben ser dispuestos en
los contenedores apropiados en los centros de reciclaje
respectivos.

Important Safeguards for Your Homemaker
Kettle
• This appliance may only be connected to a power
supply with the voltage specied on the rating plate.
• Never use the cord to pull the plug out of the mains
power outlet, remove by pulling out the actual plug.
• If the main cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to
be replaced by a qualied electrical person only or the
product must be disposed.
• Never use the kettle if it has been dropped or has
evidently been damaged or has become immersed in
water.
IMPORTANT! Any repairs to this item must be carried
out by a qualied electrical person only or the product
must be disposed. Considerable danger may result from
improper repairs.
• Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• Always disconnect from mains power
-before cleaning and pouring water into the kettle
-each time after use
-any abnormal situation during use
Safety
• If the kettle is overlled, boiling water may be ejected.
• WARNING: Position the lid so that steam is directed
away from the handle.
• WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the water is
boiling.
• WARNING: The kettle is only to be used with the stand
provided.
• WARNING: The kettle must not be immersed in water
or other liquids.
• WARNING: Do not operate the kettle on an inclined
plane. Do not operate the kettle without any water in the
kettle. Do not move while the kettle is switched ON.
• WARNING: Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
made by children without adult supervision.
• WARNING: This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the
hazards involved. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of young children.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
- sta kitchen area in shops, oces and other working
environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instructions
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance
• Packaging materials (e.g. plastic bags) should not be

• Before using the appliance ensures that the mains cord
and plug are dry.
• Never use the kettle with wet hands.
• Never use the kettle outdoors.
• Keep appliance at least 4 inches away from the walls or
other objects during operation.
• Place the kettle on a surface that is resistant to heat.
• Whilst using the kettle, hot water can cause scalding
if the kettle is not handled carefully. Only hold by the
handle (G) on the kettle.
• Do not leave the kettle unattended during use. Do not
place or use the kettle on hot surfaces or near naked
ames.
• Always pour water into kettle before plugging in and
heating up the appliance.
• Never pour cold water into heated kettle immediately
after boiling.

• Be sure that the kettle is lled with water to at least
MIN mark. Do not operate appliance with little or no
water.
• Attention: if the kettle is overlled, water may spill
out of the kettle.
Automatic switch-o
The kettle will switch OFF automatically and the power
indicator light (E) will go out when the water has boiled
or the kettle is removed from the base.
When the water has boiled, the kettle will switch OFF
automatically.
If you want to stop the heating process before the water
has fully boiled, simply lift the ON/OFF switch (F) up to
the OFF position.
If the kettle is only lled with a little water, it may take
longer to switch OFF.
Using your kettle
Before using your kettle, you should wipe the inside
and outside the kettle with a damp cloth to remove any
residue from the manufacturing process.
Initial use
· Place the base unit on a at surface. The base unit must
be dry.
· If the mains cord is longer than necessary, it can be
wound up at the bottom of the base unit.
· Open the lid.
· Fill with cold water up-to the MAX mark.
· Close the lid until it engages. The automatic switch-o
can only function reliably with the lid closed properly.
Wipe excess water o the kettle.
· Place the kettle onto the base in any position you wish.
· Plug the mains plug into a wall socket.
· Press the ON/OFF switch down to the ON position, the
power indicator light will light up and the kettle will start
heating up.
· The ON/OFF switch only operates when the kettle is
on the base unit.
· Do not drink water from the rst 2 boiling cycles.
· Be careful not to spill any water onto the base unit.
· To reheat water, check the water level to ensure it is
above the MIN mark water level. If necessary, add more
water, then place kettle back onto base unit. Press the
ON/OFF switch down to the ON position. You can switch
to OFF position when the water reaches your desired
temperature on the thermometer (H) by lifting up the
On/OFF switch.
· When relling water, be careful of hot steam when
lifting/opening the lid.
Cleaning and care
· Always disconnect the kettle from the mains power
outlet before cleaning.
· Allow the kettle to cool down before cleaning.
· Never clean the kettle and base unit under running
water or immerse it in water.
· Occasionally rinse the interior of the kettle with clean
water.
· Clean the exterior of the appliance only using a damp
cloth. Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleansing
agents.
Descaling
· Half ll the kettle with tap water and add the juice of 1
lemon to the water.
· Boil this mixture and allow it to stand for 15 minutes.
Re-boil the mixture and allow it to stand a further 15
minutes. Re-boil this mixture a third time then rinse the
kettle thoroughly.
· Alternatively a commercially available descaling solution
can be used. Ensure to follow the instructions supplied
with the cleaning solution.
Disposal
Packaging material
The packaging materials are environmentally friendly and
can be recycled. The plastic components are identied
by markings, e.g.>PE<,>PS<, etc.
Please dispose of the packaging materials in the
appropriate container at community waste disposal
facilities.
