Safety Instructions

While every attempt is made to ensure the highest degree of protection in all equipment, we cannot
guarantee freedom from injury. The user assumes all risk of injury due to use. All merchandise is sold
on this condition, which no representative of the company can waive or change.
-This product is not a toy, and is only to be used for its designated purpose.
-Never carry out any alterations or modifications to this product.
-Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the appliance is plugged, is in
accordance with the rating label on the appliance and that the socket is earthed.
-When the appliance is not in use, always unplug from the mains socket.
-To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any part of this
appliance in water or any other liquid.
-This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory and mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by
persons responsible for their safety.
-Do not allow to be used as a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the Food Jar.
-If the jar has been dropped and damaged, do not continue to use it.
-Ensure all parts are securely attached before use.
-Never exceed the advised capacity limit. 4525 = 500ml, 4526 = 750ml.
-In order to minimise bacterial growth, do not use the food flask to store warm milk
products or baby food.
-Do not use this flask to store carbonated drinks.
-Only use the flask with the attachments provided.
-Always ensure the screw cap is securely fitted before carrying hot contents.
-Always take care when carrying hot liquids.
-Keep hands well clear from the opening area when dispensing.
-Always allow the flask to cool fully before carrying out any cleaning.
-The flask is not suitable for microwave use.
-When filling the flask with boiling water or other hot liquids, take extra care when
removing the screw cap, as hot steam may escape –posing a potential scalding hazard.
-The storage tank should be cleaned after every use. Clean only using water and/or a
damp cloth, do not use any harsh or strong industrial chemicals.
-If your water has a high iron content, brownish stains may appear in the storage tank.
These stains can be wiped away using a cloth and mild detergent. Rinse the flask
thoroughly with fresh water to remove any cleaning solution before use.

Before First Use
-Before using the food flask for the first time, remove all packaging, stickers and labels
from the product and store or dispose of safely. Make sure that the product is damage-
free.
-Place the food flask on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of a
worktop.
-Wipe down the exterior using a slightly damp cloth.
-Remove the lid, cup and screw cap to fill the storage tank to the rim with warm water,
and mild detergent. Close the screw cap tightly. Leave to soak for several minutes.
-Do not exceed the maximum capacity –doing so would cause the storage tank to
overflow.
-Dispense and discard the cleaning solution, in order to remove any residue that may
remain from the manufacturing process. Repeat with cold water only to ensure that
the flask is thoroughly flushed and detergent-free before use.
-Ensure that the flask is fully dry before use.
