UTEMVE-105H - HEVC H.265 Video + Audio Encoder
The HEVC encoder UTEMVE-105H is a hardware device used for high-defini ion video signal (720P /
1080P, e c.) encoding and ne work ransmission, using he la es and high-efficien high-defini ion
digi al video compression echnology H.265, wi h he charac eris ics of reliable, high-defini ion, low bi
ra e and low la ency.
The launch of his produc , using a hardware DSP encoder, fills he gap in he indus ry, which is a
direc replacemen for he radi ional cap ure card or sof ware coding me hod. Inpu he HDMI video
signal o conduc he encoding process, af er compression processing of he DSP chip, ou pu he
s andard TS ne work s ream.
The sys em is more s able and image quali y is more perfec , which can be used in a wide varie y of
needs for high-defini ion video and high-resolu ion and high frame ra e acquisi ion-based IP ne work
ransmission. I s powerful scalabili y makes i more easily o respond o he needs of differen
indus ries and can be used as live video encoder too.
Indus rial con rolled and precision design, he small size, he power consump ion is less han 5W,
offers an easy and energy efficien ins alla ion.

using he E herne connec ion. To acces a s andard WEB browser is bes .
Log-In o he Sys em
S andard Log-In
Change he adminis ra or’s compu er IP address (in case of WIN 7) as : 192.168.1.* o avoid IP
conflic ing wi h dashboard IP. (mark “*” numbers range will be 0-254 excep 168 )
Open he Log-In Dash Board in your web browser. En er 192.168.1.168 in URL address, he Log-In
window appears. Type he user name and password.

Under normal circums ances i is no necessary o change he defaul se ings for he image
processor. If you ry o encode cri ical video ma erial correc ions for enhanced image quali y can be
done in he Image Quali y Se ings menu.
Brigh ness: o modify he brigh ness of he image (0 o 100)
Con ras o modify he con ras of he image (0 o 100)
Hue: o modify he hue of he image (0 o 100)
Sa ura ion: o modify he sa ura ion of he image (0 o 100)
Seconds ream
In his sec ion he seconds ream se ings are accessible.

Change password: Here you can change he defaul user name and password o your individual
user name and password. Click MODIFICATION o confirm.
Sys em informa ion : Shows device serials number and firmware version
Upgrade se ing: Search for sof ware upgrade package and UPLOAD
NOTE: CHOOSE THE COMPRESSED UPGRADE PACKAGE(*.RAR FILE) WITHOUT
DECOMPRESSING PACKAGES. DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE AND OTHER OPERATIONS
DURING THE UPGRADE.

Frequen ly Asked Ques ions
Q: How o access o he encoder web-in erface by defaul IP ?
A: The computer’s IP network segment need be same as the encoder’s default IP. ex: if the encoder’s
default IP is 192.1 8.1.1 8, then you need change your computer’s ip to 192.1 8.1.*( mark “*”
numbers range will be 0-30&30-254).
Q: H.265 will save bandwid h han H.264?
A: YES, H.2 5 will save nearly 33% bandwidth than H.2 4.
Q: Wha is he maximum resolu ion af er encoded ?
A: Our encoder support a maximum resolution of 1080p, but it depends on your signal source , if your
signal source is 720p, then max encoded resolution is 720p.
Q: How o push s ream o media server o do live broadcas by Us ream, You ube or like ha ?
A: Because most server can not support H.2 5 for the moment, so if you want to push stream to
server, you need choose encoding level to H.2 4, and then set RTMP protocol. Put your server’s IP,
server’s port, app name and stream name to the web-interface after enable RTMP protocol. Please
kindly note that you need set the DNS same as your router’s by network setting.
