GETTING STARTED
Installing Hardware
For Bracket Installation Instructions, please refer to specic directions which were
delivered with each specic bracket package. If you need additional support, please
Once installation of the hardware is complete, connect the USB power cord to the
UV Angel Adapt head unit and the appropriate port on the associated computer or
power supply.
Please use care when handling the UV Angel Adapt device.
Please avoid touching the UV-C bulb as oils from your ngers can etch onto the
glass reducing its efcacy. If you must, please wear soft, cotton gloves.
How it Works
1. UV Angel Adapt treats monitored surfaces with a low-dose UV-C light killing
pathogens around the clock.
2. UV Angel Adapt detects an interaction with the monitored surface with a
passive infrared sensor.
3. Once an interaction is detected the LED indicator light will turn red and
stay red until movement is no longer detected.
4. At that point UV Angel Adapt will initiate a treatment cycle, turning the
UV-C bulb on and switching the indicator light to blue.
5. When the cleaning cycle is completed the indicator light will turn green and
stay green until the next interaction.
NOTE: You may interact with monitored surfaces at any time as treatment cycles
will cease during interactions.
UV Angel Adapt Bulb Warning: When a device has reached 5% from end of life a purple
light will continuously blink for 30 seconds. Once the device has reached end of life, the
bulb function will cease and the purple light will blink continuously.
