1. INSTALLATION
1.1 CHECK AND MAKE SURE THAT THE FOLLOWING
ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED:
This Operation Manual
Indicator x 1
Assembled platform x 1
Platform cover x 1
W shape indicator platform mount support
x 1
U shape indicator wall mount support x 1
Pillar, pillar mounting set + screws and
tool set x 1(Option)
Contact your dealer if any items messed.
1.2 Insert platform cover into the platform in
the same direction as the platform. Always
Insert the platform cover to the platform
gently, no excessive force is needed.
1.3 FIXING THE INDICATOR
1.3.1 Platform Mount
1.3.1.1 Connect the cable plug from the
platform to the indicator receiving plug.
1.3.1.2 Secure the connection firmly by
turning the plug screw in clockwise direction.
1.3.1.3 Insert the indicator to the W shape
support, with the front of the indicator
against the platform.
1.3.2 Wall Mount
1.3.2.1 Install the supplied U shape support
to a strong wall surface. Secure the support
to the wall with screws supplied. In no
circumstance the extended cable length should
excess 100 cm.
Connect the cable plug from the platform to
the indicator receiving plug.
1.3.2.2 Connect the cable plug from the
platform to the indicator receiving plug.
1.3.2.3 Secure the connection firmly by
turning the plug screw in clockwise direction.
1.3.2.4 Insert the indicator to the U shape
support.
1.3.3 Pillar (option) Mount
1.3.3.1 Insert the pillar support to the
platform and locked it by the screws provided.
1.3.3.2 Insert the pillar to the support
attached to the platform base. Fix the pillar
to the support with Philip head screw supplied.
1.3.3.3 Insert the pillar mount indicator
support to the top of the pillar. Fix this
support to the pillar with the Philip head screw
supplied.

1.3.3.4 Thread the platform cable through
the pillar very carefully.
1.3.3.5 Connect the cable plug to the
indicator receiving plug.
1.3.3.6 After plugs are connected, lock the
plugs by turn the plug screw in clockwise
direction.
1.3.3.7 Insert the indicator into the
backplate of the support.
1.4 Always operate this scale on a level and
strong enough surface and free from vibration,
excessive moisture and RF interference. If
necessary, adjust the adjustable feet to obtain
a level position.

Unit “kg” indicates the metric
weight unit is being employed.
“lb” indicates the pound

4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
4.1 PLACING SCALE
Use this unit only on a hard and strong surface,
where is free from RF interference, vibration,
fire, direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
4.2 POWER THE SCALE
Press ON/OFF to turn scale on.
4.3 INTERNAL SETTINGS
4.3.1 Select Weight Unit
This unit is equipped with 3 weight unit modes,
i.e. kg, lb and lb/oz. Turn scale on and follow
the below steps to select weight unit.
a. kilogram: press and hold MEM 1 until the
“kg” sign appears
b. lb./ lb.: press and hold MEM 2 until “lb”
sign appears
c. lb./ oz.: press MEM 3 until “lb” sign appears
4.3.2 Select Auto Hold Status
The default Auto Hold setting is Auto Hold
status. Follow below steps to change Auto Hold
setting.
a. turn scale on

b. To employ (disable) the Auto Hold Function,
press and hold RECALL/SET until “b.-150” and
5 arrows beneath appears(disappears).
c. Release RECALL/SET and scale will return
to normal operation status.
4.4 TO TARE OFF THE WEIGHT OF A CONTAINER/ SET
WEIGHT TO ZERO
4.4.1 Place a container onto the platform,
then press and hold FUNCTION until zero weight
is displayed.
4.4.2 To Clear Container Weight from Memory
To clear the weight of the container stored,
remove the container and all loads from the
platform. Press and hold FUNCTION until zero
weight displayed.
4.4.3 Zero the weight value is not displayed
when the scale is unloaded, press and hold
FUNCTION to reset weight to zero.
4.5 WHEN WEIGHING
Always apply load to the platform gently.
Sudden shock/excessive force may cause damage
to the weight sensor inside. It is a good
practice to remove all the loads from platform
immediately after weighed. This would prolong
the life time of the weight sensor.
4.6 HOLDING A WEIGHT DISPLAYED
4.6.1 When Auto Hold Function is not employed
Press RECALL/SET to employ the Auto Hold
Function.
4.6.2 When Auto Hold Function is employed
After Auto load is stable, the scale
would automatically retain the weight
displayed. 5 flashing arrows beneath the
weight would appear indicating the
weight displayed is being held. Weight
retained would be released
automatically 3 seconds after load is
removed.
4.7 SELECT BACKLIGHT (option) STATUS
The default setting of backlight is on.
Backlight would automatically go off 5
second after zero weight is detected and
automatically turned on immediately
when a load is detected.
To enable/disable backlight function,
press and hold ENTER unit the desired
status is attained.
4.8 MEMORY FUNCTION
4.8.1 Save Actual Weight to Memory. For actual
weight entry range, refer to GENERAL AND
OPERATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Select the appropriate weight unit.

2. When weight displayed is stable, press
ENTER.
3. Select memory location by pressing MEM 1
to MEM 5.
4. Press ENTER to save and return to normal
operation.
4.8.2 Enter a Target Weight to Memory. For
target weight entry range, refer to GENERAL
AND OPERATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS
1. Select the appropriate weight unit.
2. Press ENTER and release to trigger memory
function.
3. Press MEM 4 to shift to appropriate numeric
position.
4. Press MEM 5 to obtain appropriate numeric
value.
5. After target weight is obtained, press
ENTER.
6. Select memory location by pressing MEM 1
to MEM 5.
7. Scale will return to normal operation after
2 seconds.
NOTE:
1. Each of the MEM key could store (by actual
weight or target weight entry) one value
of each weight unit.
2. Weight stored in memory will not be erased
when power off.
4.8.3 Recall Weight Stored
1. Select the appropriate weight unit.
2. Press MEM 1 to MEM 5 to recall weight stored.
3. Scale displays memorized weight and will
return to normal operation status after 3
seconds.
4.8.4 Weight Gained or Lost Comparison
1. Select the appropriate weight unit.
2. Obtain actual weight.
3. After display is stable, press appropriate
MEM key then FUNCTION.
4. Scale displays weight gained or lost
(donated by a negative sign)
NOTE: Weight gained and lost comparison will
only function when memorized weight and
actual weight are in same weight unit.
4.8.5 Recall the Last Actual Weight Memorized
1. Press RECALL/SET to recall the last actual
weight.

NOTE:
1. This function only valid for weight
memorized by the Auto Hold Function.
2. For Auto Hold Function Range, please refer
to GENERAL AND OPERATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS.
3. Power off the scale will erase the Last
Actual Weight memorized.
4.9 BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When battery voltage is too low, the LO-BAT
sign will go on. The scale could only be operated
for about 10 minutes (w/o backlight). Replace
all batteries with new ones as soon as possible.
4.10 POWER THE SCALE
4.10.1 Power the scale by 4 X UM 1/Size D
Alkaline Battery, or a mains adapter( not
included) with output = DC9V/100mA. Insert the
batteries into the battery pack underneath the
platform with polarity as shown inside the
battery pack.
5. TROUBLE SHOOTING

Is the main adapter inserted
properly both to the wall
outlet?
Is the output plug of the main
adapter inserted properly

Secure both ends of the main
adapter to the wall outlet and
DC inlet of scale.
Is the platform cable
connected to the indicator
firmly?
Check and secure the platform
cable plug to the indicator
receiving plug.

6. DAILY CARE AND MAINTENANCE
6.1 Clean the scale with a soft and damp cloth,
if necessary, with a mild detergent.
6.2 Do not use any harsh, abrasive material,
acetone, volatile solvent, thinner or
alcohol for cleaning.
6.3 Verify the accuracy of the scale
periodically. Re-calibrate the scale when
needed.
6.4 Take out all batteries before long time
storage.
6.5 Store scale in a cool and dry place.
