Introduction
Hawk 130X is a kind of short range &compact LiDAR point cloud data acquisition
system, integrated HESAI Pandar XT laser scanner, GNSS and IMU positioning
and attitude determination system, Camera and storage control unit, is able to
real-time, dynamically, massively collect high-precision point cloud data and rich
image information. It is widely used in the acquisition of 3D spatial information in
surveying, electricity, forestry, agriculture, land planning.

Standard Operation F l o w
Hawk-130X Pro L i D A R Scanning SystemStandard Operation F l o w a s following,
1. F i x theHawk-130X Pro lidar scanning systemtothecarrier (drone or car, etc). 2.
Install theGNSS antenna on thecarrier without a n y interference,a n d connected to
Hawk-130X Pro L i D A R Scanning systemdirectly.
3. I n s e r t the128GB TF card into slot.
4. Connect theGNSS antenna totheantenna interface of theHawk- 130X Pro.
Connect thepower cable tothedrone (power supply voltage range 12~16V).
5. T u r n on thebase station (user-supplied) tocollect base static data. T u r n on the
Hawk-130X Pro L i D A R unit, thesystemstarts tow o r k .
! ! Please makesurethebase station starts collecting data one minute earlier than
liDAR unit!!
! ! Please makesurethebase station power off one minutes later after flights!!
6. W a i t f o r theL i D A R systemworks inorder. The systemwill lockthesatellite, then
L E D indicators blink innormal. ( The power indicator ison, theGNSS indicator
flashes one time in1intervals, a n d theL I D A R indicator flashes one time in1
intervals).
7. A f t e r theGindicator blinks, thesystemisrequired todo 3 minutes static a n d
initiate todo self-calibrate theinternal Inertial Navigation System.
Whendo multiple flights, iftheintervals between twoflights isshort, thenext flights
can shorten to120 seconds.
Somedrones have thefunction of battery replacement without electricity. I n this case,
after landing, thereisno need todo a initialization iftheL i D A R systemisnot
powered off.
8. Startthemission. A f t e r mission, disconnect thepower of thedevice, copy & paste
thedata from theTF cards, a n d perform thecalculation operation by Shuttle a n d
g A i r h a w k software on PC.

Hawk-130X Pro Data Storage Instruction
Hawk-130X Pro isused one TF SDcards, respectively storePOS,L I D A R a n d I m a g e
folder . Each flight, thesystemwill automatically create a folder named a s thecurrent
time intime, a n d storea l l thedata collected inthis folder directory.
Regarding theTF card, please use itaccording tothefollowing terms:
[1]Please select aTF card above C10U 1 level.
[2]Approximately 5.5GB of data isgenerated every 10 minutes w h e n runs L i D A R
system( i n thetriple echo mode). Please makesurethattheremaining space intheTF
card issufficient f o r next flights.
[3]WhentheTF card isconnected tothecomputer, thecomputer systemwill pop up
a dialog box prompting thatthestorage device needs tobe scanned. A t this time, be
suretoselect "Scan a n d Repair", otherwise thedata intheTF card maynot be r e a d
a n d written normally.
Hawk-130X Pro contains G64GB eMMC ( T h e r e a l capacity is54 G B ) F l a s h memory
f o r backing up thecollected data toprevent data lossdue toaccidental damage of the
TF card.
I f users need tor e a d thedata ineMMC F l a s h , please use U S B type-Cdata cable.
(Please makesurethecable has a data transmission function. Somecables mayonly
have a power function. This typeof cable cannot be used.) Connect theL i D A R unit to
theuser's computer ( t h e power cable does not need tobe connected). The computer
will automatically recognize theTF card a s amobile storage device, a n d thencan
perform data operations.
Wheneach flight, itwill automatically determine theremaining free space inthe
eMMC f l a s h memory. I f theremaining space islessthan20GB, thesystemwill
automatically delete theoldest data files until theremaining space isgreater than
20GB.

Hawk-130X Pro LiDAR configuration file
U s e r s can configure somefunctions of Hawk-130X Pro
The standard configurable functions currently provided a r e a s follows,
T r i g g e r signalinterval: isochronous interval trigger, unit: second a n d equidistant
interval trigger, unit: meter
T r i g g e r signalmode: high level trigger (normal lowlevel, high level w h e n triggered);
lowlevel trigger (normal high level, lowlevel w h e n triggered) T r i g g e r signalpulse
width: 15ms~999ms
The LiDAR isconfigured tobe a t a 3-second isochronous interval, low-level trigger,
a n d pulse width 15ms indefault.
I f y o u need toconfigure other trigger methods, please contact our technical support
staff. The technical support staffwill provide a configure.ini file, put this file into the
root directory of theTF card, theninserttheL i D A R a n d power on, thedevice will
automatically Read theconfiguration file a n d complete theconfiguration.
Whentheconfiguration issuccessfully completed, theconfigure.ini file intheTF card
will disappear after power off.
! ! D o not e d i t a n d change theconfigure.ini file by yourself!!
