– Warnings –
Uwis Caravanbed is not suitable for children
under six year old without supervision.
Maximum weight 50 kg. Maximum length of the
child: 142cm. Not suitable for more than one
child at the time
Ensure at all times that your child stays in bed using the
Zip-closing and only uses the staircase that is intended for this purpose
to get in or out the bed.
Uwis Caravanbed can cause a serious risk of strangulation and injury if it
is not used correctly. Ensure at all time that the bed is assembled and
installed as mentioned in this document.
Uwis Products is not responsible and cannot be held liable for
disfunctioning of the bed with the reason that your own caravan or
camper (for example, by poor maintenance or minimal build quality) is
not able to carry the bed.
Ensure at all time and especially during installation that there is no risk
of strangulation. To avoid risk of serious injury the distance between the
top safety barrier of the bed and the adjacent structure may not be more
than 75mm or should be greater than 230 mm.
Do not place the bed next to cords from curtains and blinds. Also be
careful with open flames or other heat sources, such as spotlights, lights,
heating etc.
Ensure at all time that all components are properly tightened.
Included tensioning straps are to be placed under tension in order to
ensure strength of construction.
Use of bed and staircase must always be accompanied by an adult.
Do not put pillows or other objects in the caravanbed that allow your
child to climb out or lead to choke risks.
Only use the supplied support for the mattress and the mattress provided
by Uwis Products.

Cleaning: Wipe the bottom plate and the
polyester hanging bed of the caravanbed
clean with cold water in which a mild
detergent is dissolved, rinse and wipe dry.
Wash the mattress cover after it is zipped off
separately in the machine (washing: cold
easy care). Then dry in the dryer (Program:
ironing moist) at up to 40 degrees.

Assembly instructions
1: Assembling the stair
Distance between steps must be
Equal (+/-) to prevent a misstep
Cut the anti-slip tape (part 35) in
pieces of 20 cm and place it on every
stair step.
When placing ring (18) around tube
(7 & 8) is giving some trouble, use a
rubber hamer.

6: Determine position and drill holes
Determine optimum position for bed
Distance between
holes = 1000 - 1150 mm
Drill holes ⌀8 mm (2x) as close
as possible to the back wall
(see step 5)

7: Assembling the bed and put frame on tension
Push Adjusting ring (18) up as far as
possible to put frame under
tension. When under tension turn
clamp handle close.
Detail C: IMPORTANT
Connect "Buckle straps" (part 16) with the buckle
strap attached to the “Hanging bed” (part 13) and
pull under tension so that the stair cannot slip away.
The stair feet must stay perpendicular to the floor.

IMPORTANT
The total weight should be distributed among the stairs and rear support, so make sure the cabinet
receives no vertical force.
Step 1: Mount the “cabinet connections” into to closet of your caravan
Step 2: Mount the “rear support” to the “C-pipe & Hanging bed with clamp”
Step 3: Attach the “C-pipe assembly” to the “cabinet connections”
Step 4: Put the rear support on the L-profile (part nr. 11)
Step 5: Push on both sides the adjusting ring up as described in Detail A on this page.
Step 6: Attach the Stairs to the “C-Pipe assembly” (both sides at the same time)
Step 7: Put the “Mattress support” (part 15) in the hanging bed and the “Mattress” (part 14) on top of
the “Mattress Support”.
Step 8: Place the bed horizontal and the stair feet perpendicular to the floor. (Detail B)
Step 9: Connect the “Buckle Strap’s” (part 16) as described in Detail C. IMPORTANT
Stap 10: Place “Sticker 1” (36) on the upper staircase step.
Stap 11: Place “Sticker 2” (37) on the “U-pipe”(4).

– Waarschuwingen –
Uwis Caravanbed is niet geschikt voor gebruik
door kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar zonder
toezicht. Het maximum gewicht is 50 KG. De
maximale lengte is 142cm. Het bed is niet
geschikt voor meer dan 1 kind.
Zorg ten alle tijden dat uw kind binnen in het bed blijft door middel van
de ritssluiting. Laat uw kind alleen door middel van de trap het bed
betreden en verlaten.
Bij onjuist gebruik kan Uwis caravanbed verwondingen of wurging
veroorzaken. Zorg ten alle tijden dat het bed precies is geassembleerd en
geïnstalleerd zoals in dit document beschreven staat.
Uwis product is niet verantwoordelijk en kan dus niet aansprakelijk
worden gesteld voor het disfunctioneren van het bed met de reden dat
uw caravan of camper (door bijvoorbeeld achterstallig onderhoud of
minimale bouwkwaliteit) niet in staat is het bed te ondersteunen.
Zorg ten alle tijden en vooral tijdens installatie dat er geen risico op
wurging is. Om risico’s op wurging te voorkomen moet de afstand tussen
de omranding van het bed en de omgeving kleiner zijn dan dan 75mm of
groter dan 230mm.
Plaats het bed niet naast los hangende koorden en touwen van gordijnen
of rolluiken. Wees ook waakzaam met hittebronnen zoals het gasfornuis
en lampen.
Zorg ten alle tijden dat alle onderdelen goed vast zitten. Dit geldt vooral
voor de spanbanden, deze dienen goed aangespannen te worden om de
sterkte van het bed te garanderen. .
Bij het gebruik van het bed moet er altijd een persoons aanwezig zijn.
Plaats geen kussen of andere objecten in het caravanbed die ervoor
kunnen zorgen dat uw kind eenvoudig uit het bed kan klimmen of die
voor verstikking kunnen zorgen.
Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde matras onderlegger en matras
meegeleverd door Uwis Products.
Houd losliggende delen weg bij kinderen.

Reiningen:
Maak de bodem van het polyester hangbed
schoon met koud water waar een milde
detergent in is opgelost, spoelen en
droogwrijven. Was de matrashoes apart in de
wasmachine. (programma: Koud) Daarna
eventueel drogen in de droger. (programma:
strijkdroog maximaal 40 graden)
