Partyfunktion: Bis zur nächsten Absenkzeit
wird die Raumtemperatur entsprechend der
Tagtemperatur geregelt, die Warmwasser-
bereitung ist frei gegeben.
Ferienprogramm: Für die Dauer Ihres Urlaubs
wird die Raumtemperatur entsprechend der
eingestellten Temperatur geregelt, die
Warmwasserbereitung ist gesperrt.

Beschreibung des Gerätes
Der VRT 340f ist ein Raumtemperaturregler mit
Wochen-Heizprogramm für Heizung und Warmwas-
serbereitung. Für jeden Kanal verfügt er über 2
Grundprogramme P1 und P2, ein veränderbares
Blockprogramm P3 und ein individuell einstellbares
Programm Pi.

Montage
Installation des Reglers, Funkempfängers
Dieses Gerät darf nur von einem anerkannten
Fachmann geöffnet und gemäß den Abbildungen
der Seiten 106 bis 109 installiert werden. Dabei
sind die bestehenden Sicherheitsvorschriften zu
beachten.
Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag an span-
nungsführenden Anschlüssen. Vor
Arbeiten am Gerät die Stromzufuhr
abschalten und vor Wiedereinschalten
sichern.
Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieser
Anleitung, insbesondere durch Fehlverdrahtung
oder mechanische Beschädigung entstehen, über-
nehmen wir keine Haftung.
Zweipunkt- oder Stetig-Regelung (Seite 107)
Zweipunkt-Regelung (Werkseinstellung) ist
erforderlich, wenn die Leistung des Heiz-
gerätes deutlich über dem errechneten
Wärmebedarf liegt (z. B. um eine größere
Warmwasserleistung zu erzielen).
Stetig-Regelung empfiehlt sich, wenn die
Heizleistung dem errechneten Wärme-
bedarf entspricht.

Betrieb des Funkempfängers
Der Funkempfänger ist mit drei Leuchtdioden zur
Statusanzeige ausgestattet.

Empfang eines Funktelegramms
Bei Störungen kann mit dem Taster von
Automatik- auf Handbetrieb umgeschaltet werden.
Im Handbetrieb ist die Warmwasserbereitung frei-
gegeben und der Vorlaufsollwert für die Heizung
beträgt 50°C. Der Handbetrieb bleibt erhalten bis
das nächste Funksignal empfangen wird.
Telefonfernschalter (TEL) anschließen
Der Schaltausgang des Telefonfernschalters wird
an der Klemme TEL des Reglers angeschlossen
(siehe Abbildung Seite 109).
Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag an span-
nungsführenden Anschlüssen.
Bei Anschluß des Telefonfernschalters ist
der Regler an der Wand zu montieren.
Bitte beachten Sie die Installationsanleitung des
Telefonfernschalters.

There is a danger of overheating the room.
If the batteries are running down the boiler
operates with maximum advanced flow tem-
perature (frost override).
Device description
The VRT 340f is a room thermostat with a weekly
heating programme for heating and hot water sup-
ply. The thermostat has 2 basic programs P1 and
P2, an adjustable Program P3 and an individual
programm Pi.

2 Installation
This system MUST be fitted by a qualified and
approved installation engineer, proceeding as
shown in the illustrations on pages 106 to 109. The
relevant safety guidelines should be followed at all
times.
There is a danger of fatal injury from tou-
ching live components. Always shut off
the power supply to the system (and
ensure it cannot be reconnected) BEFORE
carrying out installation or maintenance
work.
Note that we will accept no liability whatsoever for
injury or damage resulting from failure to observe
these instructions. This condition applies especially
to incorrect wiring and/or defective mechanical
installation.
Two-point or constant regulation (page 107)
Two-point regulation (factory-adjustment)
is required if the power rating of the hea-
ting system is considerably more than the
calculated heat requirement (e.g. in order
to achieve a greater hotwater capacity).
Constant regulation is recommended if
the heat rating corresponds to the calcu-
lated heating requirement.

Function of the receiver
The receiver is equiped with three indicator lights.
The lights indicate the following operating states:
OK Indicator light ON - receiver in operation
Indicator light OFF - receiver fails to operate
Indicator light OFF - automatic operation
Indicator light flashing - manual operation
Short flash of the indicator light-
receive a radiogram
In case of an interference, the operation can be
switched from automatical into manual operation
using the button . The hot water supply is
released in manual operation mode and the advan-
ce specified value for the heating is 50°C. The
manual operation mode remains operative until
the next radio signal is received.
Connect a remote-control switch
The remote-control switch output is connected on
terminal TEL (see page 109).
Please note the installations instructions of the
remote-control switch.
There is a danger of fatal injury from tou-
ching live components. Install the roomt-
hermostat on the wall before connecting
the remote control switch.

Le VRT 340f est un thermostat d’ambiance avec pro-

préparation d’eau chaude. Pour chaque canal le ther-
mostat dispose de 2 programmes de base P1 et P2,

Montage
Installation du thermostat d’ambiance, du
récepteur à distance
Cet appareil ne peut être ouvert et installé que par
un professionnel qualifié conformément aux sché-
mas des pages 106 à 109 . Il convient, à cet effet de
respecter les consignes de sécurité existantes.
Danger d’électrocution sur les raccorde-
ments conducteurs de courant. Avant les
travaux sur l’appareil, couper l’alimentati-
on secteur et mettre des coupe-circuits
avant la remise en marche.
Nous ne sommes pas responsables des dommages
pouvant découler du non-respect de ce mode
d’emploi, des câblages défectueux ou détériorati-
ons mécaniques.
Régulation à deux positions (par plus ou moins)
ou réglage progressif (page 107)
La régulation à deux positions (réglage
usine) est nécessaire quand la puissance
de l’appareil de chauffage est nettement
au-dessus de la consommation de chaleur
calculée (pour obtenir par exemple une
puissance d’eau chaude plus importante).
La régulation progressive est recomman-
dée si la puissance de chauffage corres-
pond à la consummat. de chaleur calculée.

Fonctionnement du récepteur téléphonique
Le récepteur téléphonique est muni de 3 diodes
pour afficher l’état.
OK LED allumé – fonctionnement OK
LED éteint – Problème au niveau du fonc-
tionnement

LED clignote – Mode manuel
LED clignote brièvement - Réception d’un télé-
gramme à distance
En cas de problème, on peut passer d’automatique
à manuel grâce à la touche .En mode manuel,
la préparation de l’eau chaude est libérée et la
valeur de consigne d’admission du chauffage est
de 50°C. Le mode manuel reste enclenché jusqu’à
la prochaine réception du signal à distance.
Raccordement du commutateur téléphonique à
distance
Le commutateur est raccordé à la borne TEL de la
régulation (voir schéma page 109)
Danger de mort par court-circuit près des
sorties sous tension. Lors du raccordement
du commutateur téléphonique à distance, la
régulation est à monter sur le mur.
