Kiitos paljon rahoistasi. Niillä juotetaan kauppias humalaan ja ruokitaan aviot-
tomat lapset. Mitä veroista ja elatusmaksuista jää, menee lyhentämättömänä
pahantekeväisyyteen.
Toivottavasti viimeistään tämän ohjeen avulla saat uudet Valco-kuulokkeesi
käyttöön. Ne ovat varmasti parhaat kuulokkeet, joihin sinulla oli varaa. Älä
huoli, ei meilläkään ole varaa parempiin.
Eikä tarvitsekaan, koska näissä kuulokkeissa on Jasse Kestin säätämä ääni.
Jos et tiennyt, niin Jasse on yksi Suomen, jos ei Euroopan parhaista ääni-
teknikoista.
Jos äänenlaadussa on mielestäsi vikaa, ovat kuulokkeet todennäköisesti pas-
kana ja silloin kannattaa valittaa meidän kätyrillemme: info@valco.
Osa I: Päähän asentaminen
Suosittelemme asentamaan kuulokkeet päähän panta ylöspäin ja kuulokeosat
korvien päällä.
Jos et tiedä mikä osa on panta ja mikä kuuloke, pyöritä niitä käsissäsi, kunnes
löydät nappeja. Napit ovat kuulokeosassa.
Jos kärsit elefanttitaudista tai sinulla on muuten muhkurainen pää, myös jokin
muu asento voi toimia kuin perinteinen ”panta ylöspäin”.
Olemme myös nähneet käytettävän asentoa, missä toinen kuuloke on kasvo-
jen edessä ja toinen takaraivolla.
Tämä ns. ”stormtrooper -asento” saattaa aiheuttaa akuuttia jälkeenjäänei-
syyttä, emmekä suosittele kuulokkeiden käyttöä niin.

Kokeilemalla voit löytää omaan kupoliisi sopivan asennuksen.
Huomioithan kuitenkin, että jos kuulokeosat eivät ole korvien päällä, sinun voi
olla vaikeaa kuunnella kuulokkeista tulevaa ääntä.
Kuulokkeiden sisälle on kiinalaisilla aakkosilla tehty seuraavanlaiset merkinnät:
L (xīn) ja R (chǐ). Kiinankielinen xīn tarkoittaa muilla kielillä sydäntä.
Koska ihmisen sydän on aavistuksen verran kallellaan vasemmalle puolen
kehoa, tulee L -merkitty kuulotin vasemman korvan päälle. Vastaavasti chǐ
tarkoittaa kiinalaista mittayksikköä, joka on 10 cun tai 1/10 zhang. Sen vuoksi
tulee R-merkitty kuulotin taas oikean korvan päälle.
Sinänsä sillä ei ole väliä, jos laitatkin ne väärinpäin päähän, ääniä niistä kuuluu
silti, mikrofoni voi vain kuulua vähän huonosti. Sitä paitsi jos kuulokkeiden
asettaminen päähän oikeinpäin ei onnistu, tuskin huomaat puutteita stero-
äänessäkään.
Osa II: Käyttöönotto
1. Ennen kuin koetat käyttää kuulokkeita ja soitat asiakaspalveluun, etteivät
ne toimi, varmista nyt kuitenkin, että olet ne ladannut. Niissä pitäisi olla jonkin
verran virtaa jo paketista otettaessa, mutta lataamalla varmistat, että Sepul-
tura ei katkea alkuunsa.
2. Jos haluat käyttää langattomia kuulokkeita langattomasti, kannattaa sitä
ennen ne langattomasti yhdistää langattomaan äänilähteeseen.
3. Mikäli käytät vastamelutoimintoa, laita se ensin päälle (kts. kolmas askel)
4. Jos virtaa ei ole, kuulokkeita voi käyttää perinteiseen tapaan myös mukana
tulevalla 3.5 mm plugipiuhalla. Plugipiuha on se, jossa on erinäköinen pää
kuin USB-piuhassa.

Otapa kädestä kiinni, niin käydään tämä yhdessä läpi, näin ensimmäistä
kertaa.
Ensimmäinen askel: Lataa kuulokkeet
Yhdistä kuulokkeet virtalähteeseen USB -kaapelilla.
Kun kuulokkeissa palaa punainen valo, ne ovat latauksessa. Kun valo vaihtuu
siniseksi, kuulokkeet ovat latautuneet.
Emme tiedä miten värisokeus vaikuttaa tähän, mutta latausaika on noin kolme
tuntia, joten ehkäpä värisokea käyttäjämme voi katsoa kellosta aikaa.
HUOM! Käytä standardia 5V, 1.5-2A USB-latauslähdettä. Erilaiset turbola-
turit saattavat aiheuttaa ns. kyrvähtämistä.

Toinen askel: Virrat päälle ja yhdistä
1. Kun käytät kuulokkeita ensimmäistä kertaa, paina MFB-nappia (keskimmäi-
nen kolmesta, lyhenne sanoista madafakin button) noin 5 sekuntia pohjassa,
kunnes syväsieluinen miesääni nimeltään Tudor Gilespie lausuu: ”Power on”.
Jatka painamista vielä hetki, kunnes sama uros ilmoittaa parittelevansa: ”Pai-
ring” ja LED -valot välkkyvät punaista ja sinistä kuin poliisiauto.
2. Valojen välke tarkoittaa, että kuulokkeet ovat valmiina paritteluun kuin pu-
naista takapuoltaan esittelevä paviaani. Etsi puhelimen tai muun audiolähteen
valikosta erikoisesti nimetty laite (VMK20) ja parittele.
3. Kun sielujen kumppanuus löytyy, sininen valo kuulokkeissa välähtää onnis-
tumisen merkiksi.
Seuraavilla kerroilla yhtyessä samaan laitteeseen, napista voi päästää irti jo
sitten siinä ”power on” vaiheessa.
Mikäli et ole erityisen köyhä ja sinulla on useampi äänilähde, joihin haluat yh-
distää kuulokkeet, toimi seuraavasti:
A. Ota Bluetooth pois päältä ensimmäisestä äänilähteestä
B. Tee uuden laitteen kohdalla samoin kuin äsken tuossa yläpuolella ohjeistet-
tiin. Laita myös alkuperäisen laitteen Bluetooth päälle. Nyt ainakin teoriassa
kuulokkeet ovat yhdistettynä molemmissa.
HUOM! Kun laite on paritellut useamman laitteen kanssa ja se toinen vehje
menee yhteysalueen ulkopuolelle, niin kuuloke ikävöi sitä ja piippailee sen pe-
rään itsekseen. Silloin se kannattaa unohduttaa ko. laitteen valikosta.

Kolmas askel: Vastamelu päälle
Mikäli laitteessa on virtaa (katso ensimmäinen askel), voit laittaa vastamelun
päälle vastamelunapista (ANC). Vihreä LED kertoo vastamelun olevan päällä.
HUOM! Vastamelu toimii bluetoothista erillään, koska joku voi haluta käyttää
vastamelua esim. piuhalla. Kun sammutat kuulokkeet, vastamelu EI sammu
itsekseen.
HUOM! Vastameluominaisuus ei tarkoita sitä, että kuulokkeet eristävät sinut
koko muusta maailmasta. Sitä varten on olemassa kuulosuojaimet. Se kuiten-
kin auttaa kovasti ympäristömetelissä, tai lentokoneella tms. liikennöidessä.

Neljäs askel: Musiikit tulille
Näillä kuulokkeilla voi kaiken muun ohella myös kuunnella musiikkia.
Laitteessa on peräkkäin kolme nappia (Katso kuva edellä), jo aiemmin mainittu
keskimmäinen madafakin nappi (MFB) ja kaksi volyyminappia (volume). Näihin
liittyy seuraavanlaisia ominaisuuksia:
• Pitkä painallus:On/Off.
• Pidempi painallus:Yhdistää bluetoothiin
• Lyhyt painallus: Play/pause tai Vastaa puheluihin
• Tuplaklikkaamalla herättää Sirin tai Googlen vastaavan ominaisuu-
den joka seuraa kaikkia tekemisiäsi.

• Painamalla volyyminappia pohjassa (jompaakumpaa) voi vaihtaa

K: Jos sammutan kuulokkeet, sammuuko myös vastamelu

V: Kokeile aina ensin käyttää 3.5 mm piuhaa kiinni, jolloin BT-piirisarja sam-

K: Vastamelu pörisee ja käyttäytyy kummallisesti.
V: Eihän kuulokkeen ja pään välissä ole mitään ylimääräistä, kuten pipa, paksu

Thank you so much for your money. We’ll spend it getting drunk and feeding
our illegitimate children. What’s left after taxes and exes will all go to selsh
causes.
But before we leave you, here are some instructions on how to use your new
Valco headphones. They must be the best headphones you could afford. Don’t
worry, we can’t afford better ones either.
Not that it matters since the sound of these headphones has been perfected
by Jasse Kesti. In case you didn’t know, Jasse is one of the best audio techni-
cians in Finland, if not Europe.
If you think there’s something wrong with the audio quality, the headphones
are probably buggered, meaning you should see about servicing them by sen-
ding your complaints to info@valco..
Part I: Placement on head
We recommend wearing the headphones with the headband facing up and the
headphone parts over your ears.
If you’re not sure which part is the headband and which is the headphone,
turn them over in your hands until you nd some buttons. The buttons are in
the headphone parts.
If you suffer from elephantiasis or have an otherwise lumpy head, you may
nd some other position better than the traditional “headband up”.
We’ve also seen a position used where one headphone is in front of your face
and the other on the back of your head.

This so-called “stormtrooper position” may bring on an acute case of retarda-
tion, so we cannot recommend wearing the headphones this way.
Keep trying until you nd the best position for your own skull.
Please note, though, that unless the headphone parts are placed over your
ears, it may be difcult for you to listen to the sound emanating from the
headphones.
Inside the headphones, we’ve inserted the following markings using Chine-
se characters: L (xīn) and R (chǐ). In other languages, the Chinese word xīn
means ‘heart’.
As the human heart leans slightly to the left side of the body, the headphone
with the L character goes over the left ear. Chǐ, in turn, stands for a Chine-
se unit of measurement of either 10 cun or 1/10 zhang. For this reason, the
headphone with the R character goes over the right ear.
It doesn’t actually matter much if you wear them the wrong way round – you’ll
still hear the sounds they make, the microphone just might not work optimally.
And if you can’t manage to put the headphones on the right way, you’ll pro-
bably not nd fault with the stereo sound either.
Part II: Preparing for use
1. Before you try to use the headphones and call our customer service saying
they don’t work, just make sure you’ve charged them rst. There should be
some juice in them when you take them out of their box, but charging them
makes sure your Rick Astley classics won’t get cut off too soon.
2. If you want to use the wireless headphones wirelessly, it’s advisable to rst
wirelessly connect them to the wireless audio source.

3. If you’re using the noise-cancelling function, you should switch it on rst
(see step three later on the manual).
4. If the battery runs out, you can also use the headphones the traditional way
by using the jack plug included in the package. The jack plug is the one with a
different tip to a USB cable.
Here, hold my beer and we’ll go through this together, this being your
rst time.
Step one: Charge your headphones
Connect the headphones to a power source using the USB cable.
When the headphones show a red light, they are being charged. When the
light turns blue, the headphones are fully charged.

We’re not sure how this works with colour blindness, but they take about three
hours to charge, so perhaps our colour-blind users can look at the clock ins-
tead.
NOTE! Use a standard 5V, 1.5–2A USB charger. Various turbochargers may
just exterminate them.
Step two: Power on and connect
1. When using the headphones for the rst time, press the MFB button (middle
one, abbreviated from mudafukin button) for about 5 seconds, until a deep
and soulful man’s voice by the name of Tudor Gilespie recites: “Power on”.
Keep pressing for a bit longer, until the same male tells you he is coupling
(“Pairing”), and the LED lights ash red and blue like a police car.
2. The ashing lights mean the headphones are ready for coupling, like a
baboon presenting its red posterior. Look for the unusually named device
(VMK20) in your phone or other audio source’s menu and couple up.
3. Once the soulmates have found each other, a blue light ashes on the
headphones to declare success.
Later, when hooking up with the same device, you can let go of the button as
soon as you’ve heard the “power on” bit.
In case you’re not particularly broke and have more than one audio source you
want to connect to the headphones, here’s what to do:
A. Switch off Bluetooth on the rst audio source.
B. Do to the second device what you were told just above. Next, switch on
Bluetooth also on the original device. The headphones are now connected to
both, at least in theory.

NOTE! If the headphones have coupled with multiple devices and one of them
goes outside their connectivity range, the headphones will miss it and beep
after it longingly. Should this happen, use the menu and have said device
forget the headphones.

Step three: Noise cancellation on
If the headphones have been charged (see step one), you can switch on noise
cancellation by pressing the noise cancellation button (ANC). The green LED
tells you that noise cancellation is on.
NOTE! Noise cancellation works separately from Bluetooth, as someone might
want to use this function with a cable, for example. When you switch off the
headphones, noise cancellation WILL NOT turn off by itself.
NOTE! The noise cancellation function does not mean that the headphones
will isolate you from the rest of the world. There are ear defenders for that.
But it does do wonders in noisy environments or when travelling by plane or
similar.
If noise cancellation gives you trouble, get in touch with Valco’s customer

You can send us mail even if it doesn’t, we don’t have very many friends and
we’d like to be your friends. Especially if you have a nice villa somewhere by
the lake or seashore where we could come and drink beer naked.

Step four: Put some tunes on
As well as many the other things, you can use these headphones to listen
to music. The device has three buttons side by side (see picture before): the
previously mentioned mudafukin button (MFB) in the middle, and two volume
buttons.
These feature the following kinds of properties:
• You can change tracks by pressing down the volume button (either
one) and adjust the audio volume by tapping on the volume button
(either one)
• MFB has all these cool features: Long press: On/Off, Longer press:
Connects to Bluetooth, Short press: Play/pause or Answers calls
• A double-click on MFB will awake Siri or Google’s similar function
that monitors your every move.

Part IV: Frequently asked questions
Q: If I switch off the headphones, is noise cancellation also switched off?
A: It’s not, it’s independent.
Q: My headphones won’t charge, turn off or connect, or behave otherwise
strangely.
A: You should always rst try plugging them in with the 3.5 mm cable, which
should switch off and reset the BT chipset.
Q: The noise cancellation buzzes and behaves oddly.
A: There’s nothing extra between your head and the headphones, is there?
Like a beanie or thick hair or something? Isolation is key to good noise can-
cellation. With time, the earpads will soften and get better adjusted to your
head, which also helps a lot.
Q: When I’m not listening to music and my surroundings are all quiet, the
headphones make a static noise when they’re on.
A: Noise cancellation doesn’t really know what to do with itself in silence.
The static will go away as soon as there’s music or noise. If you’re not listening
to music and there’s no noise around you that calls for noise cancellation, you
can also take the headphones off.

Bevor wir dich verlassen, ndest du hier einige Anweisungen zur Verwendung
deiner neuen Valco-Kopfhörer. Es müssen die besten Kopfhörer sein, die du
dir leisten konnte. Keine Sorge, wir können uns auch keine besseren leisten.
Und das ist auch nicht nötig, da der Sound dieser Kopfhörer von Jasse Kesti
perfektioniert worden ist. Falls du es nicht wusstest, ist Jasse einer der besten
Audiotechniker in Finnland, wenn nicht in Europa.
Wenn du der Meinung bist, dass etwas mit der Audioqualität nicht stimmt, sind
die Kopfhörer wahrscheinlich fehlerhaft und du solltest deine Beschwerden an

Teil I: Platzierung auf dem Kopf
Wir empfehlen, die Kopfhörer mit dem Stirnband nach oben und die Kopfhö-
rerteile über den Ohren zu tragen.
Wenn du nicht sicher bist, welcher Teil das Stirnband und welcher der Kopfhö-
rer ist, dreh sie in deinen Händen um, bis du einige Tasten ndest. Die Tasten
benden sich in den Kopfhörerteilen.
Wenn du an Elefantiasis leidest oder einen ansonsten klumpigen Kopf hast,
ndest du möglicherweise eine andere Platzierung besser als das herkömm-
liche „Stirnband nach oben“.
Wir haben auch so eine Platzierung gesehen, bei der sich ein Kopfhörer vor
dem Gesicht und der andere auf dem Hinterkopf bendet.

Diese sogenannte „Stormtrooper-Platzierung“ kann zu akuter Zurückgeblie-
benheit führen. Wir können daher nicht empfehlen, die Kopfhörer auf diese
Weise zu tragen.
Probiere verschiedene Positionen aus, bis du die beste für deinen eigenen
Schädel gefunden hast.
Bitte beachte jedoch, dass du den Ton möglicherweise nicht gut hörst, wenn
die Kopfhörerteile nicht über deinen Ohren platziert sind.
Auf der Innenseite der Kopfhörer haben wir die folgenden Markierungen mit
chinesischen Schriftzeichen eingefügt: L (xīn) und R (chǐ). In der Sprache des
Menschen bedeutet das chinesische Wort xīn „Herz“.
Da sich das menschliche Herz leicht zur linken Körperseite neigt, geht der Ko-
pfhörer mit dem L-Zeichen über das linke Ohr. Chǐ steht wiederum für eine
chinesische Maßeinheit von entweder 10 cun oder 1/10 zhang. Aus diesem
Grund geht der Kopfhörer mit dem R-Zeichen über das rechte Ohr.
Es spielt eigentlich keine Rolle, ob du die Kopfhörer falsch herum trägst – sie
machen immer noch einen Ton, das Mikrofon funktioniert aber nicht optimal.
Außerdem, wenn du es nicht schaffst, die Kopfhörer richtig einzusetzen, wirst
du wahrscheinlich auch keinen Fehler beim Stereoklang nden.
Teil II: Vorbereitung für Gebrauch
1. Bevor du versuchst, die Kopfhörer zu verwenden, und unseren Kundendienst
anrufst, um zu sagen, dass sie nicht funktionieren, stell einfach sicher, dass du
sie zuerst aufgeladen hast. Der Akku sollte teilweise aufgeladen sein, wenn du
sie aus der Verpackung nehmen, aber durch das Auaden wird sichergestellt,
dass Sepultura nicht zu früh abgeschaltet wird.

2. Wenn du die drahtlosen Kopfhörer drahtlos verwenden möchtest, ist es
ratsam, sie zuerst drahtlos mit der drahtlosen Audioquelle zu verbinden.
3. Wenn du die Geräuschunterdrückungsfunktion verwendest, solltest du die
zuerst einschalten (siehe Schritt drei).
4. Wenn der Akku leer ist, kannst du die Kopfhörer auch auf herkömmliche
Weise mit dem mitgelieferten Klinkenstecker verwenden. Der Klinkenstecker
ist das Kabel mit einer anderen Spitze als ein USB-Kabel.

Schließ die Kopfhörer mit dem USB-Kabel an eine Stromquelle an.
