LIGHT SENSITIVITY TEST
• Before initial treatment, test yourself for light sensitivity
• Press the power button to power up device, and place device
on or within 1/4” of your skin on your arm for 3 minutes
• If the treated area has turned red and the redness lasts for
more than 2 hours, your skin is light sensitive
• Discontinue use of Alya and contact our customer
service team
Instructions

1. Place the device over the nose bridge and the arms over each
ear for proper placement.
2. Press and hold the Power button on the side of the device for
one second to turn it on.
3. Leave the device over the treatment area for 3 minutes,
the device will auto shut-o after completion of 3 minute
treatment.
4. To turn o the device any time prior to auto shut-o, press
and hold down the Power button until the LEDs turn o.
5. Use daily for best results.
6. The device may be used multiple times per day. Do not
exceed 3 treatments per day.
Operating Instructions
CHARGING THE BATTERY
• If the device is not used or has been stored for a long time, please
charge up the device first before use.
• Before use, connect the USB cable to the device for charging.
• Switch o the device before charging.
• When the unit is charging, the white indicator light flashes
continuously.
• The white indicator light is solid light when fully charged.
• After a full charge, please remove the USB cable from the device.
CLEANING
1. Turn device o and unplug from any power source
2. Wipe device surface with a damp cloth or alcohol wipes
3. Allow to dry prior to use
MAINTENANCE
• Alya is a medical device, and it is important to keep it clean
• Alya has no user serviceable parts
• All settings are set at the factory

SAFETY
• Stop using Alya if you think it is defective. Using a broken
device could result in injury
• Store Alya out of direct sunlight to prevent damage to the
plastic casing
• If Alya overheats or becomes uncomfortably hot to your
skin, stop usage
• Do not exceed recommended treatment times or usage
• Do not use Alya on infants or young children without
physician approval
• Do not shine the device lights directly into your eyes
• Consult with a doctor prior to use if you suspect that you
have a silicone allergy
• Do not use this device if your skin is light-sensitive or you are
currently using medication that may cause skin sensitivity to
light. Doing so may result in photosensitive reaction.
• If unsure whether your medication causes sensitivity to light,
confirm with your physician prior to using this device.
• Discontinue use immediately if you experience any sensitivity
to using this device.
Safety Contraindications

• Do not use if the device has been exposed to water or other
liquids, if it is defective or is damaged in any way. Doing so
could cause an electric shock or result in injury. Please contact

been damaged in any way.
• Do not attempt to take the device apart. Any modification or
attempted service will void the warranty.
• Do not store the device in the sun or any location with high
temperatures as this may cause damage to the silicone and
plastic casing.
• Discontinue use and contact Customer Service if the device
overheats or becomes unconformably hot to your skin.
• Do not exceed recommended treatment times or usage.
• Do not use this device on infants or young children without
physician approval.
• Do not shine the device lights directly into the eyes. Doing so
may cause temporary vision discomfort.
• This product contains medical-grade silicone. If you have or
suspect to have allergies to silicone, consult your doctor prior
to use.
• Contact your doctor if you have any medical questions
regarding use of this device.
• Consult your physician prior to using this device if you:
• Are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.
• Have suspicious cancerous lesions.
Warnings Precautions

All of our products come with a one-year warranty. Should the
product contain manufacturer defects or if it does not work upon
arrival, this warranty covers a max of two replacements within
one year from the date you received your order. This warranty
does not cover physical damage from misuse or accidental
damage to the product. We will only honor warranty claims of
purchases made from Vanity Planet or authorized dealers.
