After each leg is placed into the grooved area, (A) push the leg all the way towards the outside of the frame.
You will feel it click, confirming it’s properly aligned. (B) Use the Allen key provided to securely tighten screws
and washers onto each leg. (C) Connect the leg cable to the cable attached to the desk as shown and repeat
for the other leg.
Desktop and desk legs will arrive in separate boxes. We recommend assembling the desk with the desktop
face down in the box to prevent any surface scratching. Open the desktop box. Remove the desk legs from
their box. Each leg is marked with (L) or (R). Place each leg into the grooved area on the corresponding side of
the metal frame, with the longer section of the foot facing towards the front of the desk (the side with the straight
edge and control panel).

Once legs, tray, and power cords are secure, two people should carefully flip the assembled desk to an
upright position. Adjust the footpads to level the desk as needed.
Slide the cable management tray into the notches above the bracket and push until it clicks into
place. Run the power cord through the cable tray.

Once desk is fully raised, place the crossbar on the brackets on the back of each leg. Use the included mallet
to hammer the crossbar down onto the brackets until the crossbar covers the brackets completely. You will
know it is fully in place when the top of the crossbar reaches the red line.
Before first use, you need to initialize the desk. To do this, press and hold the up and down keys
simultaneously until the desk reaches its lowest height, slightly raises, and stops. Release the keys.
Your desk is now ready for use. After initializing, raise the desk to its highest setting.

INITIAL SETUP

The height settings range from 25.5-50.5 inches (65-129 cm). You can program 3 height preferences by
raising or lowering the desk to your desired height, pressing the “S” key then pressing 1, 2, or 3. To adjust
the desk to one of your programmed settings, press and hold the corresponding number (1, 2, or 3) until
the desk has reached the programmed height.
HEIGHT SETTINGS AND PREFERENCES
25 1/2” (65 cm)
50 1/2” (129 cm)
LOCK LOWEST SETTING
Each desk starts at a height of 25.5" (65 cm), but can be locked at a different lowest setting to accommodate
your space and preferences. Raise the desk to your preferred lowest setting and lock to that height by holding
"S" and then "1" until the screen reads "L". The desk will now not go lower than that height. Be advised, this
means that if one of your presets was at a height lower than the locked lowest setting, that preset is now
overridden. To unlock, hold "S" and then "2" until the screen reads "C".

INCHES TO CENTIMETERS
To toggle from inches to centimeters on the display, press and hold the “S” key and then the down arrow
key for 3 seconds or until the display numbers change.

RECALIBRATING
The desk may need to be recalibrated if the screen is not showing the correct height—for instance, if the
display reads 50.5, but it is in the fully lowered position. You can recalibrate it by measuring the distance from
the floor to the desktop, then press the “S” key and then the up key. Both need to be held until the first number
flashes. Use the up and down keys to change to the correct measurement. You will have to push “S” to set
each number (XX.X) and move to the next.

If the legs have no response, your desk may need to be reset. Follow the initial setup instructions and ensure
all connections are in the correct location and fully plugged in. If the legs are rising slowly, check the input
power connection to make sure it’s secured correctly. If any errors continue, please contact VARIDESK.
