This cover is secured using a blue LED which
is continuously illuminated when AC power is
applied to the system.

1. Plug the female end of the power cable into the power port on the Next Equine
DR System’s case.
2. With the power cable connected, follow the System Power-Up Procedure to
boot up the Next Equine DR System.

Power Up Procedure
1. Power on the Varian 2530W Autosense receptor panel. On the panel
\RXZLOOVHHWKHVWDWXVOLJKWVKRZQLQWKHÀUVWLPDJHDERYH
2. Power on the Dell XPS tablet.
3. Once the tablet boots, select your user name to login to the system.
SmartDR will auto launch once the operating system is up and running.
4. The Varian 2530W Autosense receptor panel will automatically connect
via Wi-Fi and you will see the status lights shown in the second image above.
5. Once SmartDR launches, it will communicate with the plate via the system’s
Wi-Fi connection. You will see the status lights shown in the third image
above when SmartDR successfully communicates with the panel. You will
also see a green Plate Connection Icon in SmartDR.

