LAF
General
e dehumidier is portable and is designed for dehumidifying various premises. e dehumidier has been approved for damp and
wet areas, and is used for applications such as building sites, industrial premises, warehouses, and in the home.
Dehumidiers designated LAF 50ES to LAF 150E have built-in heaters. e dehumidier has been subjected to electrical
safety and EMC tests by the Swedish Board for Testing and Approval of Electrical Equipment (SEMKO). e dehumidier is CE
marked. Degree of protection: IP X4 (corresponds to splash-proof). Dehumidier LAF 50 is stackable, at a height of two, for storage
on the oor.
Before commissioning
LAF 50S, 50ES and 50E2S are delivered without mounted console. is must be installed prior to commissioning.
See installation instructions, Appendix 1.

Location and condensate disposal
Ambient temperature operating range: +3°C to +30°C
Ambient humidity operating range: 30 to 100% RH
If the dehumidier has been stored at a temperature lower than the ambient, it should be allowed to assume ambient temperature
before it is started. After it has been switched o, the dehumidier must not be restarted earlier than within 10 minutes.
1. Locate the dehumidier in the centre of the premises, on a surface that is not sensitive to water.
2. Shut the doors, windows, vents, etc., so that the premises will be as tight as possible. Maintain the highest possible ambient
temperature to ensure maximum dehumidication.
3. e condensate collecting container of the dehumidier has a built-in level switch that will stop the dehumidier when the
container is full. is is indicated by an LED lighting up with a steady light. e condensate can also be discharged through a
hose directly to drain. A 1/2” hose should be connected to the tube with a hose clip above the container (see Fig. B).
A collecting container with pump is also available as an option.
4. When the collecting container has been removed, the dehumidier will restart. Empty the container and place it back in
position as quickly as possible.
