Maintenance
Always unplug the unit from the mains before carrying out any
maintenance or cleaning the unit.
Cleaning the body of the dehumidifier
Use a soft cloth to wipe the unit clean.
Never use strong detergents, gasoline or chemically treated
cloths as these may damage the casing.
Cleaning the air filter
This dehumidier is equipped with 2 lters:
1. Dust lter
2. Activated carbon lter (for capturing the particles of dust from
the air and preventing the production of bacteria).
Dust filter
Pull out the lter holder and remove the active carbon lter (C)
(Fig. 8, 9). Use a vacuum cleaner, or rinse the lter lightly with
water. If the lter is particularly dirty, use warm water and some
mild detergent (Fig. 10).
Make sure that the lter is absolutely dry before putting it back.
Do not expose the lter to sunlight.
Active carbon filter
The active carbon lter, placed under the dust lter, is not
washable. Its life time is variable and depends on the ambient
conditions where the unit is used. The lter should be checked
periodically and replaced if necessary.
Storage
• If the dehumidier is not used for a longer period of time
please: Turn the unit off, unplug and clean it.
• Empty the water tank completely and wipe it clean.
• Clean the dust lter.
• Cover the unit and store where it will not get direct sunlight.
Trouble shooting
Before leaving the dehumidier for service, check the following:
Problem Possible cause

not in correct position.)
The unit produces
little or no water.
Is the filter dusty or dirty? Is the air intake or utput blocked?
Is the humidity in the room already quite low? Is the room temperature below 8°C?
The humidity in the
room is not reduced.
Are windows and doors closed in the room?
Is there something in the room producing lots of humidity?
High noice level. Is the unit positioned uneven so vibration is created?
