1. Introduction
To all residents of the European Union
Important environmental information about this product
This symbol on the device or the package indicates that
disposal of the device after its lifecycle could harm the
environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as
unsorted municipal waste; it should be taken to a
specialized company for recycling. This device should be
returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service. Respect
the local environmental rules.
If in doubt, contact your local waste disposal authorities.

before bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in
transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
Be very careful during the installation: touching live

Always disconnect mains power when device not in use
or when servicing or maintenance activities are
performed. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
Keep this device away from rain, moisture, splashing
and dripping liquids. Never put objects filled with
liquids on top of or close to the device.
Keep this device away from children and unauthorized

There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device.
Refer to an authorized dealer for service and/or spare
parts.
A qualified technician should install and service this device.
Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage
stated in the specifications of this manual.

operating the device.

5. Test Mode
In test mode, you can set a static colour, or use changing colours at
different speeds.
Static Colour
To set a static colour:
1. Set DIP switch 10 to ON.

2. Set DIP switches 8 and 9 to OFF.
3. Select the desired static colour by setting the corresponding DIP
switch (1-7) to on. If all DIP switches are off, all LED lights are
out. If more than one DIP switch is set to on, the DIP switch with
the highest value prevails:

Changing Colours
To use changing colours:
1. Set DIP switch 10 to ON.
2. Choose the desired dynamic mode:
oFor switching colours, set DIP switch 8 to on and DIP switch 9
to off.
oFor fading colours, set DIP switch 9 to on (DIP switch 8 can be
either on or off).
3. Set the speed of the colour change by setting the corresponding
DIP switch (1-7) to on. All DIP switches off = slowest; DIP
switch 7 on = fastest. If more than one DIP switch is set to on,
the DIP switch with the highest value prevails.

6. Manual Dimming Mode
To use the manual dimming mode:
1. Set DIP switch 10 to OFF.
2. Disconnect the DMX controller.
3. Use DIP switches 1-9 to specify the dimming value:

7. DMX Mode
To set the device to work with a DMX controller:
1. Set DIP switch 10 to OFF.
2. Connect the external DMX controller [A,B] to the DMX input [C].
3. Use DIP switches 1-9 to specify the DMX address:

Set more than one DIP switch on and add their corresponding values
to obtain the desired DMX address. For example: if only DIP switch 8
is on, the DMX address is 128. To obtain DMX address 19, set DIP
switches 1, 2, and 5 to on (1 + 2 + 16 = 19).

1. Inleiding

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Wees voorzichtig bij de installatie: raak geen kabels aan
die onder stroom staan om dodelijke elektrische
schokken te vermijden.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het toestel
reinigt en als u het niet gebruikt. Houd de voedingskabel
altijd vast bij de stekker en niet bij de kabel.
Bescherm het toestel tegen regen, vochtigheid en
opspattende vloeistoffen. Plaats geen objecten gevuld
met vloeistof op of naast het toestel.
Houd dit toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen en
onbevoegden.
Er zijn geen door de gebruiker vervangbare onderdelen
in dit toestel. Voor onderhoud of reserveonderdelen,
contacteer uw dealer.
Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde
technicus.
De beschikbare netspanning mag niet hoger zijn dan de spanning
in de specificaties achteraan de handleiding.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie
achteraan deze handleiding.
Bescherm dit toestel tegen stof en extreme temperaturen. Zorg
dat de verluchtingsopeningen niet verstopt geraken.
Bescherm het toestel tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht
tijdens de bediening.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.

Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen aan
het toestel. Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft
aangebracht aan het toestel, valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie
vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde
richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier
rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

5. Testmodus
In testmodus kunt u een statische kleur instellen, of kleurwisseling
(met instelbare snelheid) gebruiken.
Statische kleur
Een statische kleur instellen:
1. Zet DIP-schakelaar 10 op ON.
2. Zet DIP-schakelaars 8 en 9 op OFF.
3. Zet de overeenkomstige DIP-schakelaar (1-7) op ON, om de
gewenste statische kleur in te stellen. Staan alle DIP-schakelaars
in de OFF-positie, dan zijn alle leds uitgeschakeld. Staan meerdere

DIP-schakelaars in de ON-positie, dan heeft de DIP-schakelaar
met de hoogste waarde voorrang:

Kleurwisseling
Kleurwisseling gebruiken:
1. Zet DIP-schakelaar 10 op ON.
2. Selecteer de gewenste dynamische modus:
oVoor kleurovergang, zet DIP-schakelaar 8 op ON en DIP-
schakelaar 9 op OFF.
oVoor kleurfading, zet DIP-schakelaar 9 op ON (DIP-schakelaar
8 kan op ON of OFF staan).
3. Zet de overeenkomstige DIP-schakelaar (1-7) op ON, om de
snelheid van de kleurwisseling in te stellen. Alle DIP-schakelaars
op OFF = minimumsnelheid; DIP-schakelaar 7 op ON =
maximumsnelheid. Staan meerdere DIP-schakelaars in de ON-
positie, dan heeft de DIP-schakelaar met de hoogste waarde
voorrang.

Het toestel met DMX-sturing instellen:
1. Zet DIP-schakelaar 10 op OFF.
2. Sluit de externe DMX-controller [A,B] aan op de DMX-ingang [C].
3. Stel het DMX-adres in met DIP-schakelaars 1-9:

waarden op, om het gewenste DMX-adres in te stellen. Bijvoorbeeld:
staat alleen DIP-schakelaar 8 op ON, dan is het DMX-adres 128. Zet
DIP-schakelaars 1, 2 en 5 op ON (1 + 2 + 16 = 19), om DMX-adres
19 te verkrijgen.

La tension réseau ne peut pas dépasser la tension mentionnée
dans les spécifications à la fin de cette notice.
3. Directives générales
Se référer à la garantie de service et de qualité Velleman® en
fin de notice.
Protéger contre la poussière et les températures extrêmes. Veiller
à ce que les fentes de ventilation ne soient pas bloquées.
Protéger l’appareil des chocs. Traiter l'appareil avec circonspection
pendant l’opération.
Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l'appareil avant de
l'utiliser.
Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité. Les

5. Mode de test
En mode de test, il est possible de régler une couleur statique, ou
d'utiliser le changement de couleur (avec vitesse réglable).
Couleur statique
Pour régler une couleur statique :
1. Régler l'interrupteur DIP 10 sur ON.
2. Régler les interrupteurs DIP 8 et 9 sur OFF.
3. Régler l'interrupteur DIP correspondant (1-7) sur ON pour
sélectionner la couleur statique souhaitée. Si tous les
interrupteurs DIP sont réglés sur OFF, toutes les LEDs sont
éteintes. Si plusieurs interrupteurs DIP sont réglés sur ON,
l'interrupteur DIP avec la valeur la plus haute est valable :

Changement de couleur
Pour utiliser le changement de couleur :
1. Régler l'interrupteur DIP 10 sur ON.
2. Choisir le mode dynamique souhaité :
oPour le changement de couleur, régler l'interrupteur 8 sur ON
et l'interrupteur 9 sur OFF.
oPour le fondu de couleur, régler l'interrupteur 9 sur ON
(interrupteur DIP 8 peut être mis sur ON ou OFF).
3. Mettre l'interrupteur DIP correspondant (1-7) sur ON pour régler
la vitesse du changement de couleur. Tous les interrupteurs DIP
sont en position OFF = vitesse minimale ; interrupteur DIP 7 est
réglé sur ON = vitesse maximale. Si plusieurs interrupteurs DIP
sont réglés sur ON, l'interrupteur DIP avec la valeur la plus haute
est valable.

correspondantes pour obtenir l'adresse DMX souhaitée. Exemple : Si
seulement l'interrupteur DIP 8 est réglé sur ON, l'adresse DMX

2. Instrucciones de seguridad
Cuidado durante la instalación: puede sufrir una
peligrosa descarga eléctrica al tocar un cable conectado
a la red eléctrica.
Desconecte siempre el aparato de la red eléctrica si no
va a usarlo durante un largo período de tiempo y antes
de su limpieza o mantenimiento. Tire siempre del
enchufe para desconectar el cable de red, nunca del
propio cable.
