Congratulations on purchasing this versatile Evaporative Air
Cooler with Heater 5 in 1 from VENTUS DUAL TECH.
Carefully read all the instructions before using the unit, and
please keep this instruction manual for future reference. This
manual provides important and necessary information for the
conguration, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of
the VENTUS DUAL TECH. Failure to follow the instructions may
damage and/or impair its operation and void the warranty.

• The product is for household
use only.
• Connect the appliance to single-
phase AC supply of the voltage
specied on the rating label.
• Always turn the product to the
OFF position and unplug it from
the electrical outlet when not in
use.
• Extreme caution is necessary
when the appliance is used by or
near children, invalids or elderly
person.
• Do not run cord under carpeting
and do not cover cord with throw
rugs, runners or the like. Arrange
cord away from trafc area and
where it will not be tripped over.
• Do not operate the appliance
with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the unit malfunctions, has
been dropped, or damaged in any
manner.
• If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualied person to
avoid a hazard.
• Use the appliance in a well-
ventilated area. While using,
distance of no less than 20cm
should be kept away from wall or
corner to ensure the air intakes or
exhaust openings should not be
blocked unexpectedly. The unit
must not be located immediately
below or besides a curtain or the
likes.
• Do not insert or allow ngers or
any other objects into grill to avoid
a mechanical danger when in use.
Do not block air intakes or exhaust
openings in any manner.
• Adequate clean water should be
put into the tank within the water
level limits as shown by the water
level indicator. Make sure that
you DO NOT add water whilst the
power is on. If you want to move
the product whilst water is in the
tank, unplug it and push it slowly
and very lightly on the side of the
unit to avoid water spillage.
• Please keep the ice boxes
provided away from children, as it
is a chemical based substance that
is harmful if swallowed. Also make
sure that the ice pack is not placed
in direct sunshine. The ice boxes
can be used over 5 years. When
scrapping the appliance, follow
the regulations concerning the
disposal of ice boxes.
• Use the appliance on at, dry
oor only.
• This appliance is not intended for
use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.

5 in 1 unit: Heater, Cooler, Humidier, Air Purier and Fan.
•PTC technology (Positive Temperature Coecient) uses highly advanced materials instead
of resistance wires to heat the air ow. The heating is extremely ecient, saving energy and
providing a secure temperature control.

INSTRUCTIONSFORUSE
When using the appliance, make sure that it is on a at and stable surface. Damage may occur if
it is placed on an incline or decline.
Insert the plug directly into a standard AC socket-outlet. Be sure plug ts tightly into outlet.
Turn the Switch in the rear panel to the position I. Symbol On/O is displayed.
Before turning on the unit, make sure the horizontal louvers are open.
Press button On/O on the control panel to turn on Ventus Dual Tech. Ambience temperature
and setting of fan mode and fan speed are displayed.
Move manually the horizontal louvers to direct the air ow up and down as desired. While unit is
operating, never close completely the air exhaustion by putting the louvers in vertical position.
Press again button On/O on the control panel to turn o Ventus Dual Tech. In WARM mode,
the fan continues working during 30/60 seconds to cool down the unit. The ON/O symbol is
blinking on the display. When secure temperature is reached, Ventus Dual Tech turns o and On/
O symbol is displayed.

FANFUNCTION
When the unit is turn on, the fan starts to work. You can use the unit as purier or just to blast
air at ambience temperature.
COOL/HUMIDIFIERFUNCTION
Ventus Dual Tech has a security system that turns off the appliance if
very low water level during Cool Function to avoid damage to parts.
Open the Water Filler lid and add clean water into the water tank by pouring water directly
into the ller. Keep an eye on the water level indicators Min and Max to make sure that you do
not OVER or UNDER FILL the unit. Close the Water Filler lid.
With the unit already turn on, press the button COOL, the water circuit turns on and the unit
starts to blow cool air. The display will show the Cool icon.
If you press the button COOL again, the water circuit stops and the unit returns to FAN function.
If you nd that the air is still not cool enough, you can add the previously freezed for 1 or 2
hours Ice Boxes or ice blocks into the water tank. Unlock the water tank knob my moving it
upwards and extract the water tank no more than 15 cm. Insert the water tank into the unit
and lock the knob moving it downwards.
You can also add clean water to the water tank when it is extracted.

“SPEED”BUTTON
This button selects the fan speed during COOL or FAN mode. Press the button SPEED button
again to choose as per the following sequence:
1) LOW / 2) MEDIUM / 3) HIGH

“MODE”BUTTON
This button selects the fan operation during COOL or FAN mode to save energy and get a less
disturbance level. Press the button MODE again to choose your desired wind mode as per the
following sequence:
WARMFUNCTION
During WARM mode, no water is put in the unit. Fan mode and fan speed settings are not
available. With the unit already on, press the WARM button, the PTC system will start to work
and air ow will be warm.
The defaul heat setting is low with 1200 W
• Pressing again the Warm button, the heat increases to 2000 W
• Pressing again the Warm button, the unit returns to FAN function, with no heat.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES (ANY FUNCTION)
PURIFIERFUNCTION
Ventus Dual Tech release negative ions into the environment to purify it. The purier is always
on in any on the function modes.
“VANE”BUTTON
If you want to enlarge blast area in your room during any function mode, press the VANE
button. The vertical vents will move from left to right to redirect the airow; the vane icon will
be illuminated. To stop vane, just press the vane button again, the vane pilot light will go out.
Moving the horizontal louvers either up or down can make further wind direction enhancements.
”TIMER”BUTTON
Set the time by pressing the timer button to select a desired timing level as follow, the
range is between 1-12 hours. Ventus Dual Tech will turns o when time selected is reached. The
display will show the selected timing level.
REMOTECONTROL
Remote control has the same functions as those described in the control panel. Use CR2025
battery (included).
FALLING SECURITY SWITCH
If the unit falls down or tilts, it automatically turns o.
MAINTENANCE
• Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet and allow the fan blower to stop acting before
clean it.
• When the unit is not in use, make sure that it is unplugged from the wall socket, water is
drained thoroughly and it is placed back into its original box for storage until later use.
• In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result in a re
hazard or electric shock.
• Clean the external surfaces of the unit with a soft damp (not dripping wet) cloth.
After extended periods of use, be sure to replace the water in the tank with fresh clean water at
least weekly.

CLEANINGHONEYCOMBPANEL
Unlock the Frame Cover by moving the two honeycomb panel knobs upwards. Remove the
frame cover and the honeycomb panel frame, then remove the honeycomb panel and wash
under running water and with a neutral detergent, using a soft brush or cloth.
Reinstall the Honeycomb Panel on the Frame, install in the unit and put the Frame Cover. Lock
the two Honeycomb Panel knobs by moving them downwards. If the unit is not going to be
used for some time, leave the parts to dry before reinstalling.
Do not use brushes with thick bristles to wash the Honeycomb Panel and other parts, as they
can damage them and make them less eective.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Cuando utilice el aparato, asegúrese de que está sobre una supercie plana y estable. Si se
coloca sobre una supercie inclinada o declinada, puede resultar dañado.
Inserte el enchufe directamente en una toma de corriente estándar. Asegúrese de que el enchufe
encaje bien en la toma de corriente. Presione el interruptor del panel posterior a la posición I.
El símbolo de encendido/apagado aparecerá.
Antes de encender la unidad, asegúrese de que las rejillas horizontales están abiertas.
Pulse el botón On/O del panel de control para encender el Ventus Dual Tech. Se muestra la
temperatura ambiente y el ajuste del modo y la velocidad del ventilador.
Mueva manualmente las rejillas horizontales para dirigir el ujo de aire hacia arriba y hacia abajo
como desee. Mientras la unidad esté en funcionamiento, nunca cierre completamente la salida
de aire poniendo las rejillas en posición vertical.
Pulse de nuevo el botón On/O del panel de control para apagar el Ventus Dual Tech. En el
modo WARM, el ventilador sigue funcionando durante 30/60 segundos para enfriar la unidad.
El símbolo ON/OFF parpadea en la pantalla. Cuando se alcanza la temperatura segura, el Ventus
Dual Tech se apaga y se muestra el símbolo On/O.

FUNCIÓNVENTILADOR
Cuando la unidad se enciende, el ventilador comienza a funcionar. Puede utilizar la unidad
como puricador o simplemente para soplar aire a temperatura ambiente.
FUNCIÓNDEENFRIADOR/HUMIDIFICADOR
El Ventus Dual Tech tiene un sistema de seguridad que apaga
el aparato si el nivel de agua es muy bajo durante la función
de enfriamiento para evitar que se dañen las piezas.
Abra la tapa del llenado de agua y añada agua limpia en el depósito de agua vertiendo agua
directamente en el llenado. Vigile los indicadores de nivel de agua Mín y Máx para asegurarse
de que no llena el aparato por encima o por debajo. Cierre la tapa del depósito de agua.
Con la unidad ya encendida, pulse el botón COOL, el circuito de agua se enciende y la unidad
comienza a soplar aire frío. La pantalla mostrará el icono de frío.
Si vuelve a pulsar el botón COOL, el circuito de agua se detiene y la unidad vuelve a la función
FAN.
Si observa que el aire aún no está lo sucientemente frío, puede añadir en el depósito de
agua las cajas de hielo o los bloques de hielo previamente congelados durante 1 o 2 horas.
Desbloquee el cierre del depósito de agua moviéndolo hacia arriba y extraiga el depósito
de agua no más de 15 cm. Introduzca el depósito de agua en el aparato y bloquee el cierre
moviéndolo hacia abajo.
También puede añadir agua limpia al depósito de agua cuando lo extraiga.

BOTÓN DE “SPEED”
Este botón selecciona la velocidad del ventilador durante el modo COOL o FAN. Pulse de nuevo
el botón SPEED para elegir según la siguiente secuencia:

BOTÓNDE“MODO”
Este botón selecciona el funcionamiento del ventilador durante el modo COOL o FAN para
ahorrar energía y obtener un nivel de perturbación menor. Vuelva a pulsar el botón MODE
para elegir el modo de viento deseado según la siguiente secuencia:
FUNCIÓNCALOR
Durante el modo CALOR, no se pone agua en la unidad. El modo y la velocidad del ventilador
no están disponibles. Con la unidad ya encendida, pulse el botón WARM, el sistema PTC
comenzará a funcionar y el ujo de aire será caliente.
El ajuste de calor por defecto es bajo con 1200 W
• Pulsando de nuevo el botón Warm, el calor aumenta a 2000 W
• Pulsando de nuevo el botón Warm, la unidad vuelve a la función FAN, sin calor.
