Cavitationdependsonthevaporpressureofthe

temperatureofthepumpedliquid.
2.Increasesuctionpressure:

thepumpanduseittorelievetrappedair.Be
surethevalveiseasilyaccessiblefromthepump
andlocateddownstreamfromtheregulator.
Trappedaircancausethepumptocycle
unexpectedly,whichcouldresultinserious
injuryfromsplashing.
3.Locateanothermasterairvalve(J)upstream
fromallairlineaccessoriesanduseittoisolate
themduringcleaningandrepair.
