INSTALLING BATTERIES
• Use 4 x 1.5V AA batteries only (not included in the set).
• Remove the battery cover on the underside of the scales.
• Insert batteries and refit the cover.
• Do not throw used batteries away together with your normal domestic
rubbish. Take them to a used battery bin.
TIPS FOR USE
• Place the scales on a flat and hard surface. A soft and uneven
floor (e.g. carpets, linoleum etc.) can cause an alteration to the weight
reading.
• For infants: the scales should be used with a tray. You may cover
the tray with soft baby swaddle or towel. Place your baby on the
centre of the tray for weighing. Developed anatomic form of the tray
makes baby difficult to stand up or fall. During this procedure do not
leave your baby without attention.
• For kids who can walk, you may use the base. Take 4 plastic feet
(included in the set) and insert in 4 holes of the base.
• Child has to stand on the scales with the feet paralelly positioned
and the weight must be equally distributed, before the zeroes disap-
pear. Pay attention the baby stands still while the scales measures the
weight. Pay attention that the baby does not lean on anything while
being measured, as this can alter the reading.

on the tray. Press "ZERO" button and wait until the display shows
"0.000". The scales are now ready for use.

all the time. When the readout is relatively stable, the sign of " "
starts to flash on the lower left corner. Press the "HOLD" button and
the scales automatically calculate the average of the weight it has
taken. The display shows the baby's weight.
