SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning - To reduce the risk of injury, the user must read the
instructions manual carefully.
1.Study, understand, and follow all instructions before operating this
device.
2.Failure to heed these markings may result in personal injury and/ or
property damage.
3.Do not exceed rated capacity.
4.Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose, bent, rusted, or
damaged.
5.No alterations shall be made to this product.
6.Wear ANSl-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during
use.
7.This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near this
item. All persons not involved in the loading process must stand clear of
the loading cargo bar. Keep children away. Children must not be allowed in
the work area.
8.Avoid working alone. If an accident happens, an assistant can bring help.
9.Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite
injuries. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Protective
clothes and nonskid footwear are recommended when working. Wear
restrictive hair covering to contain long hair.
10.Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, and use common sense. Do not
use
any cargo bar when you are tired.
11.Do not use the cargo bar if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read
warning labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgment or reflexes
are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not use the cargo
bar.
12.The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction

manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur.
It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are
factors that cannot be built into this product but must be supplied by the
operator.

INSTRUCTIONS
1.The rapid ratchet cargo bar is a minimum length of 89 inches and can be
extended up to 104 inches, making it perfect for trucks, trailers, and
semitrailers. With an ergonomic handle, and a two-second open & close
system, the ratcheting mechanism is fast & easy to use.
2.It is made of strong, sturdy steel; the exterior rod’s diameter is 38mm,
and both the exterior rod and interior rod are zinc-plated steel. They are
rust-resistant, though you may want to use a light coat of spray lube like
WD40 to keep it completely safe through all the rain and mud.
3.Heavy-duty cargo bar keeps vehicle contents in place to eliminate
damaged goods. Cushioned pads for an extra secure grip. No tools are
required.
HOW TO USE
Mount this cargo bar on the carriage to contain cargo, keep packages from
sliding around, and hold your groceries securely in place without the bother
of tie-downs, close to the tailgate for easy access. Just adjust the bar
within an inch or so of the needed length, place in the carriage, and ratchet
to tighten fully.

Method of using the Cargo bar:
1.To lengthen the bar, compress the release lever on the ratchet handle &
rotate the handle until unlocked. Now pump the ratchet to extend the bar.
2.Pump the ratchet handle until the bar is secure enough to restrain cargo.
Move the handle down flat to lock for transit. Over-tightening may damage
the vehicle.
3.To release the ratchet, compress the release lever and rotate the handle
180°.
4.Do not use it as a jack or to support loads vertically.
5.Do not suspend loads from the cargo bar.
6.Do not use it as a personal grab bar or restraint.
