This manual will outline safety warnings and precautions, operating,
maintenance and cleaning. The warnings and instructions reviewed in this
manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur.
Factors such as caution and common sense cannot be built into this
product and it is trusted the operator will follow these measures.
Please read ALL the instructions before using your machine.
1.Make sure the voltage in your outlet is the same as the voltage indicated
on the appliance’s rating label.
2.Do not let children and minors get close to or touch the machine.
3.Do not touch the hot suace directly with your hands. Always operate
with handles or knobs.
4.To prevent electrical shock, do not immerse the cord or plug into water
or other liquids.
5.Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
6.Unplug from outlet when not use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking o pas, and before cleaning appliance.
7.Allow HOT pas to cool down before operation.
8.Do not operate the device with damaged cord or plug, malfunction or
with any mechanical damage. Send the device to your nearest authorized
seice centre for examination and repair (ONLY technicians should open
up the unit).
9.Using any accessories or attachments that are not provided or
recommended by the manufacturer may cause inju.
10.If the machine will not used for a long time, unplug, clean and cover the
unit and store it in a d and safe place.

cabinet. When storing in an appliance garage, always unplug the unit from
the electrical outlet. Not doing so could create a risk of re, especially if
the appliance touches the walls of the garage or the door touches the unit
as it closes.

Before using the appliance for the rst time, peel o any promotional
materials and packaging materials, and check that the cooking plates are
clean and free of dust. If necessa, wipe over with a damp cloth. For best
results, pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil on to the non-stick plates. Spread
over with an absorbent kitchen towel and wipe o any excess oil.
When your appliance is heated for the rst time, it may emit slight smoke
or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not aect
the safety of your appliance.
1.Set the Wae Make on a clean, d, level suace near a plug base outlet.
CAUTION:
UWF-2205 Voltage is AC110-120V~ 60Hz
EWF-2205 Voltage is AC220-240V~ 50Hz
2.Plug the cord into the wall.
3.Select desired temperature using the temperature dial control. 400°F
(200°C)is recommended temp.
4.Allow the unit to reach desired temperature. Orange heating light will
turn o when temp is reached.
5.The wae iron grids are non-stick.
6.Add ¾ to 1 cup of wae mix to the bottom plate of the wae maker.
Pour the batter evenly into the center of the grid, covering the bottom grid
with the mix.
7.Grab the handle, close the lid and rotate the unit 180 degrees.
8.Set the timer. If at 400°F (200°C), 2.5 minutes is the suggested time.
9.Once the timer “dings” turn the wae maker back over. Remove the wae
using a pair of tongs, not your hands.
10.Repeat the steps to make multiple waes.
NOTE: Never touch the cooking suace with sharp, pointy or metal objects. This
could damage the no-stick suace.

1.Once you have nished baking, remover plug from electrical outlet. Leave
top lid open and allow grids to cool down completely before cleaning.
2.Brush crumbs from grooves, and absorb any excess cooking oil by wiping
with a d cloth or paper towel. You may clean the grids by wiping with a
damp cloth to prevent staining and sticking from batter or oil buildup.
3.Never take your wae maker apa for cleaning.Be ceain that grids
have cooled completely before cleaning.
4.If batter adheres to plates, simply pour a little cooking oil onto the baked
batter and let stand approximately ve minutes, allowing batter to soften
for easy removal.
5.To clean exterior, wipe with a soft, d cloth. Never use an abrasive
cleanser or harsh pad.
6.Any other seicing should be provided be an Authorized Seice
Representative.
CAUTION:
1.NEVER IMMERSE CORD, PLUD OR UNIT IN WATER OR OTHER
LIQUIDS.
2.BE CERTAIN THAT GRIDS HAVE COOLED COMPLETELY BEFOR
CLEANING.

3.The power cord can be wrapped around the bottom of base for storing.
BATTER SUGGESTIONS
1.Packaged wae mixes found in most supermarkets may be used with
this unit.
2.For best results, we recommend lling the supplied measuring cup to the
top so it will ll the wae grids.
3.For evenly lled waes, pour the batter into the center of the lower grid
and spread out evenly to the edges. The entire wae grid should be lled
COOKING SUGGESTIONS
1.If waes tend to stick to wae grids, add slightly more oil or butter to
the batter.
2.Belgian waes taste best when made to order, but baked Belgian
waes may be kept warm in a 200°F (93.3°C)oven. Place them in a baking
pan or wrap them in foil while in the oven. Waes wrapped in foil may
lose their crispness.
3.Baked waes may be frozen. Allow them to cool completely, and then
place them in a plastic food storage bag. Use waxed paper to keep waes
separated. Reheat in an oven, toaster or toaster oven when ready to see.
