Lifting a person from the ground.
OutdoorActivities.

Before each useofthe Body Up evolution the lifting straps should be checked for damage to material.

1) frame and wheels - 5 years
2) transfer (canvas) seat -1 year

Onlyoriginal equipment and accessories should be used.Whenneglectand/orrepairs through non authorized
persons occur, any guarantee ofthe Body Up Evolution andits components are rendered invalid.
Product liability onthe part ofthe manufacturer
(Veziris HealthCare - M&E Veziris OE, Iraklitou 119-121, Halandri, Athens) is excluded in these cases.

The possibility of transfer ofa patient toa suitable car,van,etc. will expand the world
that the patient can access.
Body Up Evolution takes the place of:
a "powerlifter",
a commode/seat,
a bath/shower seat,

Body Up does not breakdown; it won't require new batteries or circuitboards.
A yearly maintenance check byan approvedorganisation is recommended bythe manufacturer - with a visual
check ofall parts-especially the straps andthe gearmechanism,including a weight loadtest.
Of course, the customarycleaning and sanitizing of pads, seats, etc. will be necessary as required for each user.

Each Body Up Evolution is delivered ina substantial box container.
After unpacking, the parts canbe easily assembled as follows:
1,2. Connect thetwo frames of the Body Up Evolution (8)
3. Caution - Inner width is adjustedaccording tothe body type of eachuser.
Do not exceed the limit that is marked onthe frame, inany case!
4. Connect the back rest (1), tothe left frame.
5,6,7. Adding the covers onthe framearms
Caution - 8,9. The proper waytoaddthe cover.

1. Gentlymove the lying patient and place the transferseat (6) under the thighs atthe
lower endofthe buttocks.
"Optional: Usethe stabilisation straps (4)in order to secure the patient onfirmlythe transfer seat.

2. Holding the patient from the back, help himsitonthebed with the transferseat (6)
attached to him, and with his backstraightened ina verticalposition.
*Make sure that the patient sits vertically on the bed and the four metal points of the seat
that you are using, are visible.
3. Open or completely remove the backrest (1)and roll the Body Up Evolutionbackwards so that the frame
goes under thebed while slightly lifting the patient'slegs and place them onthe footrests(8).
4. Close and secure the backrest (1).
5. Join the transferseat (6) with the lifting straps (7) hanging from the Body Up Evolution in
the samemanner asyou would secure car seatbelts.
6. Finally, turn the left and right lifting levers (2)to lift the patient from the bed.
Caution - Makesurethat the lifting straps (7)are vertical tothe seat during the lifting process.
f In order to lower the patient anywhere,follow the reverse process.
A. Wheelchair.
3,4.Make sure to adjust the width ofthe outerframe (3)ofthe Body Up Evolution, up to a
point that can embrace the wheelchair BEFORE the lifting process.

B. Car.
Front seat ofthe vehicle is suggested.
Suggested optional item: The comfort seat (13).
C. BATH & TOILET
Suggested optional item: The waterproof bath seat (5)

1. Pass the bolt through the hole inthe lifting strap(7).
2,3. Screw the bolt into the rotating mechanism(use a common screwdriver)
4. Use the lever (2) so youcan lead the lifting strap (7)toget wrapped onthe otherside ofthe rotation axis.
5,6. Use yourindex finger to push the sparestrapbetween the lifting strap (7)andthe rotation axis.
7. Keep the lifting strap (7) stretched and rotate upwards using the lever(2).
Make surethat lifting strap (7)is tightly wrapped.
