Universal Car Mount

Instruction Manual

Read entire manual before operating this product.

Use only as directed.

After unpacking your Universal Car

Mount, you will need to assemble

the device clamp.

1. Start by unscrewing the

fastener on the back of the

clamp by turning it counter-

clockwise. Then, place it on

the ball of the ﬂex-arm. (Fig. 2A)

2. Snap the ball of the ﬂex-arm

into the ball joint on the back

of the device clamp. (Fig. 3A)

3. Screw the fastener over

the ball joint in a clockwise

fashion until moderately tight.

Do not over tighten as this may damage

the product.

Note: The fastener allows you to

adjust the tension of the device

clamp’s swivel motion. (See “Attaching

Your Mobile Device” section.)

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Before installing the Universal Car Mount,

make sure your vehicle is turned off and

the switch on the Universal Car Mount is

in the “OFF” position. (Fig. 1B)

Install the Universal Car Mount by inserting

it into your vehicle’s auxiliary power outlet.

(Fig. 2B - 3B)

Make sure outlet is working before powering device.

If the outlet is not operating properly the device may

not work or it could cause damage to the device or

your vehicle.

Note: The Universal Car Mount is only inserted

into the power outlet up to the rubber stoppers

on the top and bottom of the plug. (Fig. 3B)

1. To use the power adapter, leave the

switch in the “OFF” position (Fig. 1B),

then start your vehicle.

2. Plug your device(s) into the USB port(s)

or auxiliary power outlet. If using

USB, switch the power adapter to the

“ON” position to begin charging your

device(s).

Though the power adapter can be used while your vehicle is not running, it is not recommended

for extended periods of time, as this may drain your car battery beyond starting capability.

Before attaching your mobile device, it may

be easier to attach your mobile device when

the Universal Car Mount is not installed

in the auxiliary power outlet. Remove the

Universal Car Mount from the outlet, then

follow the instructions below.

1. To attach your mobile device, ﬁrst ensure

the width of your device falls within range

of the Universal Car Mount’s dimension

parameters: 2.16” to 3.15” in width.

2. Holding the Universal Car Mount securely, place the bottom of your

device on the lower extending limb of the device clamp. (Fig. 1C)

3. Press your device down on the extending limb until it has enough

clearance to be pushed back into the device clamp. Push your

device back into the device clamp.

4. Once secured, reinstall the Universal Car Mount into your vehicle’s

auxiliary power outlet.

5. Adjust the position of your device by bending the ﬂex-arm.

Adjust the angle of your device by loosening the fastener on the

swivel, then tightening it back into place once the desired angle

is achieved.
