MODEL VIOOC-B-1 MOTORIZED ZOOM LENS CONTROL
1. INTRODUCTION
The information in this instruction manual covers the instal-
lation, operation, andmaintenance of the
VlOOC-B-1
Zoom
Lens Control. This unit should be installed in accordance
with national, state, and local electrical codes.
Model
VlOOC-B-1
is designed to operate a variety of
Vicon motorized zoom lenses with its solid-state DC
power supply. The unit has convenient front panel
controls. Switch priority wiring prevents damage that
could occur as a result ofpushing two opposite functions
simultaneously. Speed control is provided by a knob
potentiometer mounted on the front panel. See Figure
1.
The control may be used with any Vicon motorized zoom
lens (indicated by the suffix M in the model number) or
with a motorized zoom lens with a spot filter (suffix MS)
when manual operation of the iris is required. The output
voltage is user selectable, low, medium or high, controlled
by thecomxctionofjumpers onthePCBoard. This feature
is used when heavy lens torque requirements need addi-
tional voltage for quick response. The VlOOCB-1 oper-
ates lenses up to the distances shown in Table 1.
