3. Unplug this appliance system from the wall outlet before cleaning
Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaner. Use a damp cloth for
cleaning.

the manufacturer’s instructions, and only use a

This user’s guide is the basic guide for users of the VC2650-DSP and
VC2650C-DSP. Model vc2650-~Sp is the NTSC version, model
VC265OC-DSP is the Pm version. The term VC2650-DSP is used in this
guide to refer to both models unless specifically stated otherwise.
Information regarding part names and functions, installation procedures,
and Setup of the VC265ODSP is included in this guide.
Icon recommends that all end users read this user’s guide carefully
before using the VC2650DSP. Both beginners and experts will gain
valuable insight about the functionality of the VC2650-DSP.

The VC2650-DSP Overview
This chapter provides a brief description of the functions and
performance of the VC2650-DSP. Part names and detailed descriptions of
each function are provided.

Introduction to the VC2650-DSP
The VC2650-DSP is a monitoring camera system that is used in
conjunction with CCTV. It provides the most security-conscious
companies, such as banks, what they need to secure information or
goods.
It is equipped with a 16x zoom lens that provide extra-high performance
in monitoring situations.
The shutter speed can be adjusted up to l/100,000 second per shot,
which provides superior performance for even the fastest moving objects.
There are 16 different shutter speeds to provide maximum performance
under various shooting conditions.
The VC2650-DSP corrects bright background lights or spot light
problems which can make the objects too dark. This corrective function
enables each object to be seen clearly even in bright background
conditions.
The VC265O-DSP also provides a white balance function to correct the
bluish or reddish images on the screen caused by light variation. The
white balance function can be set to react immediately and automatically
to different light conditions. It can also be adjusted manually.

Camera control terminal
The terminal is used for camera control at the factory.
Vertical phase controller
Select “line” from the “V-SYNC” main menu in the “Setup” menus. It is
used for adjusting the vertical synchronization phase.
Power supply LED indication
Indicates that the power supply is on and functioning normally.
Power terminal
Connects the power adapter cable to the unit.
Lens cable input terminal
Connects the remote lens controller to the unit.
Video output terminal
Connects the video input terminal to the monitor. This connection allows
the video images to transmit from camera to monitor.
Camera operation switches
These switches’ function vary depending on the selection of two modes
on the VC2650-DSP. The general Operation Mode (the Setup menus are
not shown on the screen) and the Setup Menu Mode. The different mode
functions are shown below:

l Operation Mode :
~/DOWI stitches : These switches are used for Zoom-Tele(in) /
Zoom-Wide(out) operation.
&#/kft switches : These switches are used for Focus-Far/Focus-
Near operation.
[Enter] switch :This switch is used for selecting the Setup
menu.
l Setup Menu Mode :
UP/DOWII switches : These switches are used to move the cursor up
or down.
Right/Left switches :These switches are used to move the cursor
right or left.
[Enter] switch :This switch is used to enter the submenu
screen. It is also used to view the values from
the Setup menus.
