User Maintenance
The 2-in-1 Straightener and Hot Brush is designed for household
use and is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed.
Keep all vents and openings clear of lint and other debris. If
cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the appliance from the
power outlet. Allow the appliance to cool and wipe exterior
with a cloth. If any abnormal condition occurs, allow to cool
and return to your place of purchase.
Two-Year Warranty
Conair Australia Pty Ltd. will repair or replace (at our option)
your appliance free of charge for twenty-four months from the
date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship
or materials. This warranty is an additional benefit and does not
affect your legal rights. To obtain service under this warranty,
please fill in and return the Warranty Registration as instructed.

To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this wrapper away from
babies and children. This bag is not a toy.

electrically live even when switched off.
WARNING: This appliance must not be taken into
a bathroom.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquids. Do not use
in the bath, or near basins or other vessels containing water.
• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
Unplug immediately.
• Take care to avoid contact between the hot surfaces of the
unit and the skin, paying particular attention to the face,
neck and hands.
• This appliance is not intended for use by young children or
infirm persons without supervision. Young children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Always unplug the appliance when not in use or
before cleaning. Do not leave unattended when plugged in or
switched on. Do not place on any heat-sensitive surface and
always allow to cool before storing away.
• Do not use any attachments other than those supplied by
Conair Australia Pty Ltd.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described
within this instruction booklet.
• This appliance is not intended for commercial use.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
• Do not use this appliance if the supply cord is damaged. In
the event of damage, discontinue use immediately and
contact your dealer for instructions on returning it for
examination or exchange.
• After use do not wrap the cord around the appliance as in
time this may cause the cord to fracture. Coil cord loosely by
the side of the appliance in storage.
• Always ensure that the voltage to be used corresponds to the
voltage marked on the unit.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated operating current not exceeding
30mA is advisable in the electrical current circuit supplying
the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
• Do not use on wet hair.
• Do not use liquid products on or with this product.
VS Sassoon 2-in-1 Straightener and Hot Brush
The VS Sassoon 2-in-1 Straightener and Hot Brush features two
stylers in one, offering you more versatility and styling choice.
Both the hot brush and straightening plates are titanium- and
ceramic-coated to deliver an even high heat and a smooth,
glossy finish.
How to use your VS Sassoon 2-in-1 Straightener and Hot Brush
Styling versatility is now made even easier.
• Unlock the release mechanism on the cool tip to open the
barrel ready for styling.
• Make sure the touchpad is in the ON position.
• Section hair evenly and comb each section.
• Place hair section between plates and press together.
• Slowly guide plates down hair strand and repeat as necessary
until smooth.
WARNING: Do not use on wet hair. Do not use liquid products
while handling or styling with this product.
Hot Brush Curling Basics
• Lock the mechanism on the cool tip to keep barrel closed
while curling.
• Make sure the touchpad is in the ON position.
• Section dry hair evenly and comb each section before
winding. Place the ends of the section onto the hot brush
barrel and wind up or under depending on the direction of
desired curl or flick.
• Wind the hair up as far as you want it curled, being careful
not to let the appliance touch the scalp. Hold in place for
8-12 seconds depending on the texture and length of your
hair. For tighter, bouncier curls roll less hair. For looser,
flowing curls, roll more hair.
• When finished, unwind the hair strand. To set the curl, do
not comb or brush through the hair until it cools.
How to use the 30 variable temperature settings
The 30 variable instant heat temperature settings provide
variable heat for many different hair types. These settings allow
you to choose the required temperature setting according to
your particular need.

The Uniform Heat Recovery System
This appliance features a mica heater and a uniform heat
recovery system. Both work to help maintain a constant heat by
quickly and continuously delivering a constant surge of power
to ensure optimal styling results. This system provides consistent
styling power so that every strand of hair is set with the same
level of heat and comes out the same way, for a perfect,
flawless finish.
CAUTION: The titanium and ceramic-coated barrel on this
appliance will become very hot within a few seconds of
heating up. Take care not to let the appliance make contact
with the skin, in particular, the eyes, ears, face and neck.
