Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Das Produkt darf ausschließlich dieser Anlei-
tung gemäß verwendet werden.
Diese Weichenlaterne ist bestimmt
•zumEinbauinMärklin®C-Gleisweichen auf
Modelleisenbahnanlagen und Dioramen
•zumAnschlussaneinenzugelassenenMo-
dellbahntransformator bzw. an einer damit
versorgten elektrischen Steuerung
•zumBetriebintrockenenRäumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als
nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultieren-
de Schäden haftet der Hersteller nicht.
2. Lieferumfang
Prüfen Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:
►BeleuchtungsplatinemitAnschlusskabeln,
►MontageringundSchraube,
►zweitransparenteLaternenkörper(kurz,lang),
►transparenteLichtverteilerscheibe,
►vierschwarzeLaternengehäuse,
►dieseAnleitung.
3. Einführung / Eigenschaften
Diese Weichenlaterne ist zum Anbau an Märklin
®
C-Gleisweichen geeignet. Die Laterne wird durch
eine weiße LED beleuchtet. Die vorbildgerechte und
helle Anzeige der jeweiligen Weichenstellung wer-
tet gerade Weichenstraßen und Bahnhofsvorfelder
optisch stark auf. Die Umschaltung erfolgt durch
die Weiche selbst.

4. Montage
BeiVerwendunginderDreiwegeweiche24630nut-
zen Sie bitte den Montagering ohne Befestigungs-
bohrung.
Montagering mit Beleuchtungsplatine bitte mit leich-
tem Druck in die Aufnahmegeometrie einklipsen.
1. LösenSiedieLaternengehäusevorsichtigmit
einem feinen Seitenschneider vom Spritzling.
2. Legen Sie die Beleuchtungsplatine in den Monta-
gering. Achten Sie dabei auf korrekte Kabelfüh-
rung.(Abbildung1)

Using the product for its correct
purpose
This product must only be used as required in
this manual. This model is intended
• for installation in Märklin®C-track turnouts on
model railroad layouts and dioramas,
• for connection to an authorized model railroad
transformer or an electrical control system
connected to one
• for operation in a dry area.
Using the product for any other purpose is not ap-
proved and is considered incorrect. The manufac-
turer cannot be held responsible for any damage
resulting from the improper use of this product.
2. Content
Check the contents of the package for complete-
ness after unpacking:
► Lighting board with cables,
► mounting ring and screw,
► two transparent lantern bodies (short and long),
► transparent light diffusion disk,
► four black lantern cases,
► this manual.
3. Introduction / Characteristics
The illuminated swith lantern is made for mounting
to Märklin®C-track turnouts. The lantern is illumi-
nated by a white led and switches simultaneous-
ly over into the respectively correct position. This
shows the switch position to the engine driver.
Appropriate turnouts
Märklin® C-track turnouts with the cat. no. 24611,
24711, 24671, 24672, 24612, 24712, 24630 and
24620 (only board and mounting ring ins needed).
4. Mounting
When using this product in the 3-way turnout
24630 please use the mounting ring which doesn’t
have the screw hole.
Please clip the mounting ring with the lighting board
into the socket on the turnout with a light push.
1. Carefully cut off the required lantern case from
the plastic holder.

4. Stecken Sie auf der Unterseite der Wei-
che die Lichtverteilerscheibe mittig auf den
quadratischenDorndes Laternenkörpers.
AchtenSiedarauf,dassderkleineschwarzeHe-
bel der Weichenschaltung in das Langloch in der
Scheibegreift(Abbildung3).
5. Schrauben Sie nun den Montagering mit der Be-
leuchtungsplatine gemäß Abbildung 4 über die
Lichtverteilerscheibe.
6. Stecken Sie das passende schwarze La-
ternengehäuse auf den Laternenkörper.
AchtenSiedarauf,dassderAbzweigpfeilmitder
RichtungderWeicheübereinstimmt.
AchtenSiedarauf,dassdieAnschlusskabelderLa-
terne sich nicht in der Mechanik der Weiche verha-
kenunddieseblockierenkönnen.
PrüfenSie,obsichdieLaternebeimStellender
Weiche passend zur Stellrichtung mitdreht.
2. Place the lighting board into the mounting ring.
Observe the correct position of the yellow and
brown cables. (See gure 1)
3. Put the lantern body from above through the re-
spective hole nearby the switching lever. Pay at-
tention, that the lantern body has the appropriate
position to the position of the turnout: turnout =
lantern body is crosswise to the direction of trav-
el. (see gure 2)
4. At bottom of the turnout, put the light diffusion
disk onto the square end of the lantern body.
Pay attention that the small black lever of the
switch ts into the long hole of the disk.
5. Screw the mounting ring with the lighting board
over the light diffusion disk onto the turnout as
shown in gure 4.
6. Put the appropriate black lantern case onto the
transparent lantern body. Observe that the ar-
row and the direction of the turnout are similar.
Pay attention that the connection cables don’t
block the mechanics. Check if the lantern rotates
when the turnout switches.
5. Connection
The operating voltage of the switch lantern
is 14 – 16 V AC / DC.
All mounting and connection works must
only be executed after the power supply is
cut off.
Only use model railway transformers build
according to VDE / EN!
Fitting cables: We recommend to take a ex with
a diameter of 0,14 mm² (e.g. Viessmann ref.-nr.
6860 – 6869 or 68603 – 68693).
5. Anschluss
Die Betriebsspannung der Weichenlaterne
beträgt 14 – 16 V = / ~.
Geeignete Kabel: Wir empfehlen Litze mit einem
Querschnittvon0,14mm²(z.B.Viessmann Art.
Nr.6860–6869oder68603–68693).

Anschluss an Stromversorgung
Die Weichenlaterne verfügt nicht über einen Ein-
Aus-Schalter.Sieistdahereingeschaltet,sobaldsie
mit der Stromversorgung verbunden ist. Wenn Sie
dieBeleuchtungausschaltenmöchten,bauenSiein
einederbeidenStromversorgungsleitungen(braun
odergelb)einenSchalterein(s.Abb.5).
Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise oben.
6. Fehlersuche & Abhilfe
Jedes Viessmann-Produkt wird unter hohen Quali-
tätsstandards gefertigt und vor seiner Auslieferung
geprüft.SollteesdennochzueinerStörungkom-
men,prüfenSiebittedieStromversorgung.
WennSiedieFehlerursachenichtndenkönnen,
senden Sie die Weichenlaterne bitte in der Origi-
nalverpackungzurReparaturein.(Adresses.u.).
Connection to a power supply
The switch lantern has no on/off-switch. It is con-
stantly switched on at the moment you connect it
to a power supply. In case you want to switch off
the lighting you can incorporate a switch in one of
the two power supply wires (brown or yellow), see
Illustration 5).
Note the safety measures mentioned above.
6. Troubleshooting and help
Every Viessmann product is produced with high
quality standard and controlled before delivery.
If there should occur any trouble nevertheless,
please check rst the power supply and the wiring.
If the product is damaged, put it in the original
packaging and bring it to your specialist dealer or
send it directly to the Viessmann-service (for the
address see down below).
