Safety Precautions
Please read the following  before you start using the device.
• Keep this user guide in a safe place for later reference.
• Read all warnings and follow all instrucons.
• Allow at least 4" (10 cm) clearance around the device to ensure proper
venlaon.
• Place the device in a well-venlated area. Do not place anything on the device
that prevents heat dissipaon.
• Do not use the device near water. To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do
not expose the device to moisture.
• Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight or other sources of sustained heat.
• Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or
other devices (including ampliers) that may increase the temperature of the
device to dangerous levels.
• Use a so, dry cloth to clean the external housing. Please see the "Maintenance"
secon for more informaon.
• Oil may collect on the screen if you touch it. Please see the "Maintenance"
secon for more informaon.
• Do not touch the screen surface with sharp or hard objects, as it may cause
damage to the screen. Only use the supplied pen, or ngers for models that
support touch input.
• When moving the device, be careful not to drop or bump the device on anything.
• Do not place the device on an uneven or unstable surface. The device may fall
over resulng in an injury or a malfuncon.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the device or connecon cables.
• If smoke, an abnormal noise, or a strange odor is present, immediately turn the
device o and call your dealer or ViewSonic®. It is dangerous to connue using
the device.
• When connecng to a power outlet, DO NOT remove the grounding prong.
Please ensure grounding prongs are NEVER REMOVED.
• Protect the power cord from being treaded upon or pinched, parcularly at the
plug, and at the point where it emerges from the equipment. Ensure that the
power outlet is located near the equipment so that it is easily accessible.
• Only use aachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
• Disconnect the device if it is not going to be used for a long period of me.

Wall mount kits are sold separately.
1. Turn o the device and disconnect all cables.
2. Place the device on a at, stable surface with the screen facing down.
3. Aach the mounng bracket to the VESA mounng holes at the rear of the
display. Then secure it with four (4) screws (M4 x 10 mm).

Before connecng and using the pen display, it is necessary to install the below
soware. The soware can be downloaded at:

Pen Display Driver
1. Open the ViewSign Console installaon le and install the driver.
2. Aer the installaon completes, you will need to restart the computer.

1. Connect the power cord to the power adapter.
2. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack at the rear of the display.

Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI port of the display. Then connect
the other end of the cable to the HDMI port of your computer.

Plug an audio cable into the Audio In/Audio Out port of the display. Plug the other
end into your computer (Audio In) or ear-/headphones (Audio Out).
The display is also equipped with dual speakers.

Connect one end of a VGA cable to the VGA port of the display. Then connect the
other end of the cable to the VGA port of your computer.

Connect one end of a USB cable to the USB port of the display. Then connect the
other end of the cable to a USB port of your computer.
The display supports one (1) type of USB port. When making the
connecon, observe the following guideline:
• One (1) USB Type B port: Connect the USB Type B male cable (square
with 2 cut corners) to this port, and then connect the other end of the
cable to the USB downstream port of your computer.

Before using the touch funcon, ensure the USB Type B to Type A cable is
connected to your computer and the Windows operang system is running.
When using the touch funcon, please note:
• The touch funcon may need about ve (5) seconds to resume if the USB
cable is removed and plugged in again, or the computer resumes from
Sleep Mode.
• The touchscreen can only detect up to ten (10) ngers simultaneously.
• If the Windows’ cursor does not accurately follow your nger when you
touch the screen, do the following:
1. Open: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound >
2. Select .
3. Follow the instrucons to recalibrate your screen.

Using the Pen Display

Tilt Angle Adjustment
Tilt the monitor stand forwards or backwards to the desired viewing angle (0˚/42˚
to 80˚).

Turning the Device On/Off
1. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
2. Press the Power key to turn on the display.
3. To turn the display o, press the Power key again.
The display will sll consume some power as long as the power cord is
connected to the power outlet. If the display is not being used for a long
period of me, please disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
Using the Control Panel Keys
Use the control panel keys to acvate Hot Keys, navigate the On-Screen Display
(OSD) Menu, and change the sengs.

Follow the key guide that appears on the boom of the screen to select
the opon, then make adjustments with the qand pkeys.
Menu 
Auto Image Adjust Automacally adjust the screen posion.
Contrast/Brightness Adjust the contrast or brightness level.
Input Select Select the input source.
Audio Adjust Adjust the level, or mute the volume.
Color Adjust Select one of the preset color sengs.

Displays the ming mode coming from the
graphics card in the computer, the LCD model
number, the serial number, and the ViewSonic®
website URL.
Manual Image Adjust Manually set a variety of image quality
adjustments.
Setup Menu Adjust On-Screen Display (OSD) sengs.
Memory Recall Returns the adjustments back to factory sengs.

Hot Keys
When the On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu is o, you can quickly access special
funcons by using the control panel keys.
Key 
1+ pPress and hold the keys to lock/unlock the OSD Menu.
When the menu appears on the screen, connue holding both
keys for 10 seconds to lock/unlock the OSD Menu.
If the OSD Menu is locked, the below message will appear on the
screen:
1 + qPress and hold the keys to lock/unlock the Power button.
When the menu appears on the screen, continue holding both
keys for 10 seconds to lock/unlock the Power button.
If the Power button is locked, the below message will appear on
the screen:
2 + pPress the keys to display/hide the boot up screen when the device
is turned on.

2 + qPress the keys to toggle between DDC/CI and DDC/2B
DDC/CI is the default setting.
pPress the key to enter ViewMode.
qPress the key to activate the Blue Light Filter.
