General Information
• All openings in the wall behin the
appliance or in the floor un er the
appliance shoul be seale .
• Keep appliance area clear an free from
combustible materials, gasoline an other
flammable vapors.
• Disconnect the electrical supply prior to
servicing or cleaning.
• When removing the appliance for cleaning
or service, isconnect AC power supply
an carefully remove the appliance by
pulling forwar .
• Electrical requirements are liste in the
pro uct specifications un er the electrical
requirements section.
Recommendations or Unpacking
• Pro ucts are shippe on pallets with foam
footings an corrugate inner-packing
an exterior hoo s.
• Pro ucts are anchore to the pallet using
metal straps that are screwe to the
bottom of the pro uct an the pallet.
•DO NOT remove protective packaging
until you are rea y to perform the
installation.
• To remove the packaging, first remove the
staples locate at the bottom perimeter
of the corrugate cover.
• Remove the corrugate cover by lifting
it off the pro uct an remove the inner-
packing.
• Detach the pro uct from the metal anchor
strip by removing the attachment screw.
•DO NOT remove the protective wrapping
from the pro uct control panel until the
pro uct is installe .
Recommendations or Moving
• Only proper equipment shoul be use to
move pro ucts.
•ALWAYS take steps to protect flooring at
the installation location when moving
pro ucts.

to lift the oven. Remove door before
installation to ensure that it is not used to
lift the unit. DO NOT lift or carry the door
by the handle.

Electrical Requirements
• Oven requires a separate, groun e
4-wire, 240V (AC), 30 amp (single ovens)
an 50 amp ( ouble ovens) service with
its own circuit breaker.
• Wire sizes an connections must conform
with the rating of the appliance an to the
requirements of the National Electrical
Co e, ANSI/NFPA 70 – latest e ition, or
Cana ian Electrical Co e, CSA
C22.1-1982 an C22.2 No. 01982 –
latest e ition, an all local co es an
or inances.
• Oven must be connecte to the proper
electrical voltage an frequency as
specifie on the mo el/serial rating plate
(locate insi e the vent ont the right so e
of the oven).
• Oven must be connecte to groun e
metal permanent wiring system. Check
with a qualifie electrician to make sure
the oven is properly groun e .
•DO NOT groun to a gas pipe.
•DO NOT use an extension cor with this
appliance, because this may result in
electrical shock or other personal injury.
• This unit is equippe with a No. 10
groun wire in the con uit.
• The electrical con uit must be kept to the
top left for a flush installation. NEVER cut
the con uit.
• Connect the flexible armore cable
irectly to 4-wire, 240V househol service.

groun ing circuit. We recommen a time-
elaye fuse or circuit breaker. Connect
irectly to the fuse isconnect (or circuit
breaker box) through flexible armore , or
non-metallic sheathe , copper cable (with
groun ing wire).

Note: It is recommended that a thorough
site inspection be conducted PRIOR to
unpacking and moving this appliance.
• Confirm available access to a equate
power—see electrical requirements.
°Single oven units require a 30 amp circuit
°Double oven units require a 50 amp circuit
• It is recommen e that 3/4” or thicker
material be utilize to create a support
platform for this appliance.
•BE SURE that support for this appliance is
perpen icular to the front facing of the
wall or cabinet before you perform the
installation.
• Use of a hy raulic lift is recommen e for
the installation of ouble oven units. Be
careful not to ben lower trim/vent.
• All openings in the wall behin the
appliance or in the floor un er the

hinge to locke position.

Installation
1. Some stainless steel parts may have a
protective wrap, which must be peele
off. All stainless steel bo y parts shoul
be wipe regularly with hot, soapy water
at the en of each cooling perio an
with liqui cleaner esigne for this
material when soapy water will not o the
job. If buil -up occurs, DO NOT use steel
wool, or abrasive cloths, cleaners, or
pow ers. If it is necessary to scrape
stainless steel surface to remove
encruste material, soak area with hot,
wet towels to loosen the material, then
use a woo en or nylon spatula or scraper.
DO NOT use a metal knife, spatula, or
any other metal tool to scrape stainless
steel surfaces. Scratches are almost
impossible to remove.

thoroughly with hot, soapy water to
remove film resi ues an installation
ebris before being use for foo
preparation, then rinse an wipe ry.
Solutions stronger than soapy water are
rarely nee e .

A qualifie installer shoul carry out the
following checks:
hCheck oven Bake Function—bake element
on full power, center an outsi e broil
elements at partial power. Convection
Bake function—bake an broil elements
the same with the convection fan “ON”.
hCheck TruConvec™ function—TruConvec
element (behin convection fan cover)
“ON” an convection fan “ON”.
hCheck High Broil function—both broil
elements at full power. Convection broil
function is the same with convection fan
“ON”.
hCheck Me ium Broil function—inner an
outer broil elements pulse on an off.
hCheck Low Broil function—inner broil
element only.
hCheck Self-Clean function—Door will lock
in approximately 30 secon s, the center
an outsi e broil elements will turn “ON”
an the bake element will turn “ON” at
partial power. Check broil elements
through win ow to make sure they are
“ON”, then abort self-clean cycle to
unlock oor.
Any a justments necessary that are a result of
the installer not following instructions will be
the responsibility of the installer, ealer, or the
en user of the pro uct.

CAUTION
DO NOT run self-clean cycle check for
more than 10 minutes with the oven racks
and rack supports inside oven to avoid
discoloration due to the high temperature.
