security, please read the manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous
voltage”within the product s enclosure that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert
the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance(servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the product.

5) Do not use this apparatus near water.

9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
or grounding-type plug. A polarizedplug hase two
blades with one wider than the other. A grounding
type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong are
provided for your safety, if the provided plug does
not fit into your outlet. consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or
pinched particularly at plugs. convenience receptacles,
and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by
the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or

apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when
moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid
injury from tip-over(Figure 1).
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or
plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has
been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.

CAUTION: Apparatus shall not be exposed to

Always make sure all batteries are inserted in
conformity with the +/- polarity markings.
Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do
not use new batteries together with old ones. Also,
do not mix battery types, since this can cause
overheating, fire, or battery filuid leakage.
Remove the batteries from the instrument if it is
not to be used for a long time.

Top Panel
1.MASTER VOLUME This is used to adjust LINE OUT volume,
headphone volume and LINE IN volume.
2.[TEMPO/TAP] Button This button is used to change the song's tempo
and metronome tempo, allows you to tap the
tempo on the pad to change the song's tempo.
3.[KIT] Button This button is used to set the volume and voice
of the pad.
4.[CLICK] Button This button is used to enter metronome setting
display, to adjust metronome volume, metronome
sound and type.
5.[REC/PLAY] Button This button is used to enter recording display, you
can also select user song playing mode.
6. [SONG] Button This button is used to enter the song select
display. You can turn off the percussion track of
the song, and adjust the song's volume.
7.[+][-] Button This button is used to select the parameters,
voices, etc.

PAD name
The LED dot indicates the SONG/PAD/KIT status; on the status of SONG,
the song number appears on the display; In PAD selection mode, the pad
name such as Snare, Crash, and Tom, etc.Will appear on the display. Press
KIT button, the drum kit number will be displayed on the LED.

10. USB TO HOST This is USB MIDI jack. Connect PC or other
USB host devices that support USB audio
with a standard USB cable to transfer MIDI
data.
11. AUX IN Connect the output of an external audio
device, etc., to this jack (stereo mini jack).
This is convenient for playing along with
music from a tablet, laptop, smartphone
or other player device.
12. PHONES Connect a pair of headphones to this jack.
13.POWER ON/OFF This is the power switch.
14.DC 9V Connect an DC adaptor to this jack.

#1: Take out the bottom case from the
packaging and insert the two aluminum
tubes into the bottom case as shown.
Tighten the screw so that the case is
tight against the tubes.
#2: Take out the drum module and three
Tom pads from the packaging and insert
them on to the two aluminum tubes as
shown and tighten the screws. Make sure
the plastic support is tighten to both the
assembly and the tubes.
#3: Take out the cymbal poles from the
packaging and insert them into the pad
holes as shown in the figure and tighten
the T-screws.
#4: Assemble Crash cymbals as shown in
the figure and tighten the T-screws.

shown in the figure and tighten the
T-screw.
#6: Take out the Snare pole from the
packaging and insert it into drum stand
as shown in the figure and tighten the
T-screw.
#7: Take outSnare Pad from the packaging
and insert it ontothe Snare poleas shown
in the figure and tighten the T-screw.

The Hi-Hat Foot Controller Pedal has the following functions:
1.It can produce a hi-hat closed sound if you hit the hi-hat Cymbal when
pressing down on the foot controller pedal.
2.It can produce a hi-hat open sound if you hit hi-hat without pressing
the hi-hat pedal.
3.Press foot controller to hear the hi-hat pedal sound.
4.The hi-hat tone changes smoothly from open to closed in response to
pressing the pedal while hitting the hi-hat.

Make sure the power is switched OFF when connecting
the power adaptor to the DC 9V jack on the bottom
rear panel.

The audio output from any player device connected to the AUX IN jack on
the rear panel can be mixed with the sound from the Drum Module. This
function is convenient when you want to play along with your favorite songs.
The volume of the external signal is adjusted with the MASTER VOLUME knob.
Connecting a Laptop, Tablet, Smartphone etc. (AUX In jack)

USB MIDI
The Drum Module is USB class compliant and therefore can be used as a
plug 'n play device without installing drivers. Connect to a laptop, tablet,
smartphone or other USB host device that supports USB audio with a
standard USB cable. You can connect your Drum Module to a iPad or tablet
to play with many available Apps or connect with a laptop to record into
sequence and software programs. There are many versatile software and
Apps that can be used with your Drum1.
Headphones can be connected to the Drum Module.
The headphone jack is located in the back of the
Drum Module. Use the MASTER VOLUME knob to
adjust the headphone volume.

Switch the Power On
After confirming that each of the pads, cymbals and any external
devices, etc. are all properly connected, turn the power on. The
drum module is ready to operate when the display is shown as below,
for selecting the drum kit. The On/Off switch is located on the bottom
back by the power adapter jack.

Select from Different Drum Kits
Press the [KIT] button. The current Drum kit number appears. Use the [+/-]
button to select your desired Drum Kit. There are ten Drum Kits available.
The Range is:001-010 and USER which allows you to store your own setting
for playing later. KIT
Press the [KIT] button and the press the[+] or [-] of the pads. The Range
is:000-127. Select which drum pad to adjust the volume on by hitting
that pad. KIT

Selecting A Different Voice for a Drum Pad
Press the [KIT] button and the [REC/PLAY] button, then hit the pad that
you want to change. Use the [+] [-] buttons to select a different Drum
Pad Voice.
For example: Selecting a different TOM 1 Drum Pad Voice.
1. Press the [KIT] button and the [REC/PLAY] button. The LED
displays current the current drum number .
2. Then hit the TOM 1 with your drum stick. The LED will display t1 and
then the LED will display TOM 1 current instrument setting.
Hit the pad and then use [+] [-] to select the Voice. In this mode
you also can press the [CLICK] button to listen to the voice.
Press the [REC/PLAY] button to save your selection to the User kit.
3. Press any other button to exit this mode.

Press [CLICK] button to turn on or turn off metronome.
Click Type
Press [CLICK] button 2 seconds to enter the metronome type selection,
usethe [+] [-] to select from the various click types: 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4,
6/4, 3/8, 6/8, 12/8. Default: 4/4

Click Sound
You have three different sound options for the CLICK. Press the [click]
button and use the [+] or [-] button to select a different click sound. The
Click sound range is from: 001-003.
[REC/PLAY] Button
Pressthe [REC/PLAY] button , it will begin to Play back your
Recording.
Pressthe [REC/PLAY] button again, to stop this playback.
Recording
Press the [REC/PLAY] button for 2 seconds. Recording will begin after you
hear fourMetronome hits.
Playing Back Your Recording

Click Volume
When the CLICK is off, press the[CLICK] button and either the [+]or[-]
button to select click volume. The volume range is from:000-032.

Drum On/Off
In [SONG] mode, press the [SONG] button for 2 seconds. The LED will
display “oN”or“oFF”.
“oN”will turn on the percussion play along track.
“oFF”will turn off the percussion play along track.
On------turn on the percussion track of the song.
Off------turn off the percussion track of the song.
b.Select the Play Along Song
Press the[SONG] button and then use the [+] or [-] button to select one
of the 10 Play Along songs and 1 demo song.
[SONG] Button
The Drum1 provides 10 preset play along songs and 1 Demo song.
Press [SONG] and [KIT] button to start or stop the song.

[TEMPO/TAP] Button
There are two ways to adjust the Tempo on the Drum 1.
Enter Mode
The Tempo function can be adjusted tempo by using [TEMPO/TAP] button.
Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button. The LED will display the current tempo.
Use the [+] or [-] button to adjust the tempo value. The Range is from:
020-240.
Tap Mode
Press the [TEMPO/TAP] buttonfor 2 seconds to enter the TAP mode. The
LED display will flash, then Tap any drum pad 4 times at your desired
rhythm tempo.

Mix the Play Along Song Volume
In the [SONG] mode, press the [SONG] button and use [+] or [-] buttons
to adjust the song volume. The Range is from:000-032.

To Restore the Drum1's setting to the original factory default settings do
the following. Turn off the power. Hold down the [+] and [-] buttons, then
turn the power back on. This will erase the Drum Modules internal memory
and restore all the settings to its factory reset levels.

Setup Functions
Various Functions that allow you to alter the global perimeters of the
Drum1 to better suit your playing style. To enter the Setup Function Mode:
1.Turn off the power.
2.Hold down the [KIT] button and then turn the power switch back on.
Changing the Sensitivity of the Drum Pads
Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button and use the [+]or [-]buttons to set the
sensitivity. The Range for this is:001-008.
.Changing the threshold
Press the[KIT] button and use the[+]or [-]button to set the threshold.
The Range is from:000-050.
.Changing the Velocity Curve
Press the [SONG] button and use the[+]or [-]button to set velocity curve.
There are four velocity curves from which to choose:Normal(nor),
Dynamic(dyn), EASY(ESy), and Fixed (fId).
Press the [CLICK] button and use the[+]or [-]button to set the XTALK .
The Range is:000-080
.Saving Your Settings
Press the[REC/PLAY] button to save the above settings. When the power is
turned off the settings will revert back to their original settings.
