Important Considerations
vFor optimal performance, monitor microphone must be attached
to bezel of monitor across from physician with its long axis
oriented vertically.
vMonitor microphone will require a cable to be run through the
monitor boom. A coaxial cable is provided although this can be
an ethernet cable or any 2 wire cable with a BNC or RCA
connector.
vIf privacy is a concern, the headset should be used in control
room and the overhead speaker turned off.

Terminology
vDesk Mic: Gooseneck microphone for control room.
vMonitor Mic: Array of microphones in a13” long by ½” cross section tube.
Mounts using high strength Velcro to bezel of monitor in control room.
vFoot Switch: Sustain peddle used with headset. Allows transmission of
speech when depressed.
vCommunication Speaker: Speaker in either control room or procedure
room that transmits speech.
vAux-In: 3.5mm jack on stereo that can be used for connecting music
playback devices.
vUSB Input: USB jack on stereo that allows connection of music storage
devices.
