Multiple monitor link settings
Link Settings & Options
The default setting is J1, J2 and J3 are all linked.
J1 linked---When outdoor panel calls the indoor monitor, the sounder on outdoor panel will
also operate.
J2 linked---amplifies the video signal. If you connect 2 or more indoor monitors, link the
jumper J2 of the farthest monitor and remove the jumper J2 on the other monitors.

Installation instructions
Notice
1. The installation location should be away from TV, video, PC’s etc. (Electronic units
with high intensity EMC).
2. Do not drop, knock or shake the unit.
3. Switch off unit whilst installing.
4. The wiring installation should be a minimum distance of 30cm away from any mains
voltage cables
5. Check all connections prior to powering up. Always switch off prior to working on the
system.
Installation
1. Position the main unit in the required location.
2. Use the bracket to mark the position of the holes.
3. Use screws/plugs to fix the bracket to the wall.
4. Connect as shown in wiring diagram.
5. Attach the unit to the bracket.

Wiring
1. The system is supplied with pre-wired looms & sockets, these are connected to the
equipment in their correct location. The plugs and sockets are ‘keyed’ to stop
incorrect installation. Please do not force the sockets in to the plugs. The pre wired
looms should be extended via a suitable junction box.
Extension cable should be of minimum diameter ≥0.5mm

, the maximum distance
from an outdoor station to the farthest monitor distance should be ≤70m.
2. Each Monitor should be connected parallel. Maximum number of monitors is 4.
The Power supply unit requires a 230vAC 50Hz supply which should be protected by a
suitable fuse or MCB.

Operation
When a visitor presses the call button of outdoor station, all indoor monitors will:
•Operate the indoor chime.
•Indicate which door is calling.
•Show the image from the door.
To answer press the Talk button , this allows two way communication.
If a more than one monitor is installed then pressing the Talk button on other
displays opens up a 3 way conversation
The maximum talk time is 2 minutes.
The chimes will operate for 1 minute if left unanswered.
If a lock release is fitted pressing the Key button releases the lock.
To monitor the camera view without speech press the Monitor button if more than
one outdoor station is fitted each time you press the Monitor button the display
will cycle to the next camera.
To call other monitors press the Call button
To answer press the Talk button
Press the to end a conversation/call press the Talk button

Do not use wet or abrasive cleaners
Do not install the unit near magnetic
sources such as TV’s
Do not install the unit in wet or humid
environments
Do not install the unit in hot environments,
or near sources of heat
Do not drop or shake the unit. Install it
away from potential causes of damage
Do not open the unit. There are no user
serviceable parts.
