REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

G3 Assembly
DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

[A] Remove
Post Cap
Screws.
[B] Lift off
Post Cap.
Use two opposing
Belt Clips to push
Spring Case out.
CAUTION!
When Spring Case
separates from
the spool it will
spin to unwind.
CAUTION!
Step 2 includes
removal of the
Spring Case
which has a
sharp metal tab
on the side.

Lift off the
Spool
Assembly,
Belt Clips,
and Brake.

OPTIONAL: REPLACE THE BELT

Unspool Belt
completely.
Use a flat head
screwdriver to
push Wedge
out of Spool.

Slide off
Spool and
Belt Guide.

Remove the Belt
End screw.
Separate Belt
End halves.
Remove belt.
Discard old belt.

Push screw
through the Belt
End bottom half.
Slide sewn loop
of the new belt
into the screw.

Slide Belt
End top half
on screw
and fasten
together.

Feed Belt
Guide and
Spool into
Belt.

You will need a Phillips Head Screw Driver and
a Flat Head Screw Driver (if replacing the belt).

Fold new
Belt around
the wedge
and push
back into
Spool.

Pull on new
Belt to lock
wedge in
place.

Rotate Spool
CLOCKWISE to
spool Belt snug,
but do not over
tighten.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Align the notch
under the Spool
with the tab
inside the Brake.
Press together
to connect.

Align the 4 tabs
on the Brake
with the 4 slots.
Simultaneously,
align the Belt
Guide on the
slot to the right
of a screw hole.

Slide Belt
Clips into
slots on Post.
Push clips
down
completely.

Align Spring Case
pin with the slot
on the Spool.
Press down
Spring Case
onto Spool to
connect.

Use the studs
to rotate the
Spring Case
CLOCKWISE
4 full rotations
or 16 clicks.
Press Post
Cap onto
Spring Case
until flush with
Belt Clips.
Aligning studs
on spring case
with holes in
Post Cap.

[A] If necessary,
rotate Post Cap
CLOCKWISE to
align screw holes.
[B] Install Post
Cap screws.

Spool up Belt
CLOCKWISE to
remove any slack
outside of Post.
TAB
GUIDE SLIDES
INTO SLOT TO
THE RIGHT OF
THE HOLE.
STUDS MUST FACE UP
STUD 4 FULL ROTATIONS
