and available at www.maxair-systems.com.

WARNING
Failure to follow User Instructions P/N 03521015 and the instructions
contained herein may be hazardous to the user’s health.
Use only if package is received unopened and contents are
undamaged. If damage is noted, contact the shipper for replacement
or repair.
Prior to using any MAXAIR®System or component, be sure to be
familiar with the system’s NIOSH approved conguration.
DO NOT use if any component is damaged. If any components are
damaged or contaminated and therefore unt for safe and e󰀨ective
use, they should be replaced immediately.
Only trained and experienced personnel who have read and
understand the User Instructions should use MAXAIR Products.
The institution using this product in any application is responsible
for determining the appropriateness of this equipment relative to
regulatory requirements. Bio-Medical Devices Intl, Inc. does not
recommend the appropriate systems for a particular institution or
facility.
Use only MAXAIR Systems/ NIOSH approved compatible
components.
NOT for use in atmospheres immediately dangerous to life or health
(IDLH), and atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen, or
more than 25% oxygen.
Flammability Level I: fabric may burn if exposed to open ame.
Follow current local regulations governing biohazard waste to safely
dispose of single use MAXAIR Products.

Remove a Front Lens Mount and Vent Clip From Hard Hat (HH)
Assemble a Front Lens Mount to the HH
1. From inside the HH,
pinch the legs of the
Front Vent Clip together
with the MAXAIR
Screwdriver at blade.
2. Push the Front Vent
Clip fully out of the
Front Lens Mount.
3. From outside the HH,
insert the Phillip blade
through the Front Lens
Mount.
4. Bracing the front of the HH from
the inside, push the scredriver
inward with controlled force to
push the Front Lens Mount out
of the HH.
1. From inside the HH,
place a new Front Lens
Mount into the front
hole on the HH.
2. Position the Front Lens
Mount as shown at A.

3. From outside the HH,
position the legs of a Front
Vent Clip into the front
opening of the Front Lens
Mount.
4. Compress the legs of
the Front Vent Clip by
wedging them into the
opening of the Front
Lens Mount.
5. Press the Front Vent
Clip fully into the Front
Lens Mount.
Attach Vent Clip Cap to Front Vent Clip
1. Place Vent Clip Cap over top of Vent Clip 2. Press Vent Clip Cap into top of Vent Clip rmly so that
the top surface of the two parts are even and at.

Remove a Side Lens Mount (Same for both sides of HH)
Assemble a Side Lens Mount (Same for both sides of HH)
Alternative to step 2, position both thumbs at
bottom edge of HH Skirt for support, and use the
screwdriver at blade on top of the protruding
post and press down to remove the Lens Mount.
1. Grasp a Side Lens Mount between thumb and
forenger and slide it into the Lens Mount slot
in the HH.
2. Press the Side Lens Mount fully up into the slot as shown in A.
Alternatively, use the Screwdriver Flat Blade as leverage to push the Lens Mount
fully into the Lens Mount Slot.

1. Locate a Side Lens Mount 2. Grasp the Side Lens Mount between thumb and
forenger and pull down and away from the HH.

1. Locate the Side
Turn Clip and Base.
2. From inside the HH, pinch the legs
of the Side Turn Clip together
with the MAXAIR Screwdriver at
blade, and push the turn Clip out of
the HH Skirt.
3. If the Turn Clip is only partially out from step 2., it should
be out enough to manually pull it fully out of the skirt from
the outside.
4. From outside the HH,
insert the Phillip blade
through the Side Turn
Clip Base.
5. Bracing the the HH from the
inside, push the screwdriver
inward with controlled force to
push the Side Turn Clip Base out
of the HH.
1. From inside the
HH, place a new
Side Turn Clip
Base into the round
side hole on the
HH.
3. From outside the HH, use
the screwdriver at plat to aid
in positioning the legs of a
Side Turn Clip into the front
opening of the Side turn Clip
Base.
4. Press the Turn Clip fully into the Clip Base.
2. Press the Turn Clip
Base fully into the HH
Skirt as at B.
Remove Side Turn Clip and Base (Same for both sides of HH)
Assemble a Side Turn Clip and Base (Same for both sides of HH)
