This manual facilitates the safe and eective use of the
“OmnioP/L” product.
This manual is a component of the product and must be
kept on hand in the vicinity of the product at all times.
All personnel who deal with the product must have read
this manual. Compliance with all the safety instructions
and handling instructions specified in this manual is a
prerequisite for safe work.
The illustrations in this manual are provided for the pur-
poses of general understanding and may deviate from
the actual version.
All dimension information in this manual is specified in
mm.
Quality assurance
All processes in our company are subject to a compre-
hensive management system, which conforms to the qua-
lity standard ISO 9001 and the environmental standard
ISO 14001.
The Zertifizierungs- und Umweltgutachter GmbH (BSI)
company audits this management system regularly and

1 Safety
Read this manual before using the product for the first
time and proceed accordingly. Keep this manual in a
safe place for later use or to pass on to future owners.
1.1 Explanation of symbols
Warning notices are indicated in this manual as follows.
WARNING
A warning notice designated in this manner indi-
cates a dangerous situation that could result in
death or serious injury if it is not avoided.
NOTE
A warning notice designated in this manner indi-
cates a potentially dangerous situation that could
result in material damage or environmental dam-
age if it is not avoided.
1.2 Intended use
The product is designed exclusively to hold merchandise
supports for displaying goods.
Only merchandise supports and consumers that comply
with the specifications list are approved.
In the event of misuse, there is the danger that the
merchandise supports and the electrical devices will
be damaged. This can result in injuries and damage
to the product.
Area of implementation
The product may only be used in the commercial area.
Personnel
This manual describes how to install the product and how
to operate and clean the product. Consequently after
the product is installed this manual must be transferred to
the end user.
The contents of the section on “Assembly” is directed at
personnel, who undertake the assembly and the electri-
cal connection (e.g. shop fitters, licensed electricians).
The contents of the section on “Handling” is directed at
the end users (e.g. sales personnel, visual merchandis-
ers).
1.3 Basic dangers
>Use only approved accessories and electrical
devices.
>Comply with the permitted connection, maximum
load and equipment values.
>Do not lean any ladders against the merchandise
supports.
>Do not load the merchandise supports above the
maximum load capacity.
>Do not place any receptacles, from which fluids
can escape, on the merchandise supports.
>Keep moisture away from current conducting
components.
>Assemble or dismantle only when power plug is
pulled out:
>Lay the cable so that this does not pose a trip
hazard:
>Align furniture / attached to the wall (1) and then
fill (2). Observe section 4!

>Even weight distribution Store heavy merchan-
dise at the bottom. In the event of visible defor-
mation, the prescribed load limit must not be
exceeded! -> Reduce weight!

2 Product description
Omnio P/L is an electrified structural system suited for
space-defining purposes and interior design concepts.
Being self-supporting when placed in central spaces as
well as when located in front of walls, it oers a max-
imum level of freedom. The uprights and connection
frames can be configured into customizable modules as
required. These modules can be extended on all four
sides. Due to the fact that it is easy to assembly, modi-
fy and dismantle, the system can be changed at short
notice. The sophisticatedly integrated 24V current feed
makes the single- to four-sided connection of illuminat-
ed shelves, lights and digital devices possible. Thanks
to its reserved design, Omnio can be ideally used as
centre-floor furniture, as a space divider, but can also be
used in front of walls.

3 Technical data
3.1 Connected electrical loads
The system can be supplied via one or two 24V power
supply units connected in parallel. All electrical furniture
components are operated using safety extra low voltage
(SELV). The maximum power specifications must abso-
lutely be adhered to. For detailed planning and electrical
connection information, see section 4.

3.2 Mechanical weight loads
The specified weight loads refer to the components listed
in the Visplay manual. The maximum weight loads shall
apply with respect to a uniform load distribution. In the
event of visible warpage of the merchandise supports,
the permissible weight load has been exceeded and the
load must be reduced immediately.

4 General assembly and installa-
tion information
OmnioP/L oers a multitude of possibilities. Prior to use,
it is necessary to become familiar with the individual
components and their respective functions, as well as the
limits of the system. The following symbols help to dier-
entiate the components.

4.1 Components
Non-electrified upright
Non-electrified uprights are not fitted with a power track
and are used solely for mechanical connection.

Electrified upright
Electrified uprights are fitted with a power track. An
electrified upright is always positioned on the front left of
the furniture.

Connection frames
Two connection frames form a fixed shelf structure in
conjunction with four uprights. The connection frame has
a hexagonal screw (SW5) in each corner.
Electrified connection frames are fitted with a contacting
unit on its underside under the front left corner (identified
with yellow sticker).

Connection frame with feed cable
A connection frame with a feed cable is used for electri-
fied structures. The frame is fitted with a cable and a con-
nector. The connection frame is connected to a converter
and feeds the current into an electrified upright.
Electrified connection frames are fitted with a contacting
unit on its underside under the front left corner (identified
with yellow sticker).
