1 General
This manual is provided to ensure the safe and eective use of the “Stage” product.
This manual is a component of the product and must be kept on hand in the vicinity of the product at all times.
All personnel who deal with the product must have read this manual. Compliance with all the safety instructions and handling
instructions specified in this manual is a prerequisite for safe work.
The illustrations in this manual are provided for the purposes of general understanding and may deviate from the actual
version.
All dimension information in this manual is specified inmm.
Quality assurance
All processes in our company are subject to a comprehensive management system, which conforms to the ISO9001 quality
standard.

Zertifizierungs- und Umweltgutachter GmbH (BSI) audits this management system regularly and issues a certificate of

1.3 Intended use
Stage modules comply with the applicable safety regulations within the scope of their intended use.
The furniture only serves to hold merchandise and merchandise supports.
• The product may only be used in the commercial area.
• Stage modules may only be used in dry indoor areas.
• Stage modules may be used solely in compliance with the permissible load values (see page 18).
Any unintended use and unauthorised modification of the furniture shall be deemed as unauthorised misuse that does not fall
within the manufacturer’s statutory liability limits.
Misuse
Potential sources of danger:
• Unintended use
• Operation with improperly fitted or inoperative safety and protective devices
• Failure to observe the instructions in the documentation
• Unauthorised modification of the furniture
Residual risks
Furniture can pose residual risks to persons and property. Risk of death/injury can occur due to:
• Misuse
• Incorrect operation
• Missing safety devices (anti-roll device/brake)
1.4 General safety
Carefully read the following safety instructions and information for safe operation before starting work.
Familiarise yourself with all the functions of your furniture.
Parts of the furniture are made of wood; these can become warped due to changes in room temperature and air
humidity.
WARNING
Risk of injury from tipping furniture
Furniture can cause serious injuries if it tips over.
fAt least two people must be present when changing components and moving the furniture.
fThe power plug must be disconnected before changing components or moving the furniture.
fStow cables securely, close all doors and remove loose unsecured items when moving the furniture.
fRelease all brakes before moving the furniture. Always ensure the unit is positioned side-on to any obstacles it has to cross.
fThe specified loading values must be strictly adhered to (see Section„6 Weight loads“ on page 18).
fNever climb on the furniture.

fDo not lay mains power leads and cables in thoroughfares.

2 Product description
Stage is a structure system with configurable shelves at various heights, changing cubicles and illuminated view window
modules. All structures are on castors.
The lateral surfaces can be cladded with panels. It is possible to equip a functional wall on one shelf side. This can be an LED
illuminated frame or a wall with a mirror for the assembly of changing cubicles. The view window module is a platform with a
cover. This can be illuminated in two ways.
All furniture is, with the exception of the view window modules, delivered in an assembled state.

2.2 Modules for the construction of changing cubicles
These are made of a cladded wardrobe module with a mirror attached to the back side and LED lights, a changing cubicle
module with a bench, a swivelling mirror and, optionally, an illuminated frame mounted on the back side, a back wall panel or a
mirror with lateral LED light for forming other changing cubicle units.

3 Operation
3.1 Unpacking
You must check the furniture for completeness before accepting delivery. Any damage must be documented with the
carrier in order to make a claim.
If necessary, retain the packaging for returns.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from falling or tipping furniture.
fThe unit must be unloaded by two people.
fCarefully roll the furniture o the pallet.
1. Remove the transport lock.

3.2 Connecting
DANGER
Danger from electric current
When opening a housing, a built-in electrical unit, or in the event of improper handling, there is the risk of injury due to electric
shock!
fElectrical installations must only be carried out by qualified specialists subject to the adherence of safety regulations.
fPrior to starting any work, switch the power o and ensure the fuse box against being switched on again.
NOTE
Amaximum of four converters per power plug or HV extension cable permitted.
A 90W LED converter [1] is built into the lower connection frame. When ordering, a choice can be made between an EU
or an UK connection line.

4.1.2 LED illuminated wall on the shelf
Suitable shelf structures include L 993-930 and 993-932 with flat oval supports.
1. Mount the LED illuminated wall into the upper and lower connection frame.
2. Connect the system plug of the LED illuminated wall to the converter.

4.3 View window module
The electrical connection can be made in two directions. As pre-assembled, towards the ceiling or using the connection
lines (33225170) [1] that are laid through one of the corner supports towards the floor.

4.3.1 Electrical connection for LED illuminated wall
The cable tray (298-854.26) must be ordered separately.
1. Connect the 24V line of the LED illuminated wall to the distributor.
2. Connect the distributor to the converter with 200W.
3. Lay the mains connection towards the ceiling or towards the floor.

4.3.2 Side wall electrical connection
The cable tray (298-854.26) must be ordered separately.
1. Connect the 24V line of the LED illuminated wall to the converter.
2. Lay the mains connection towards the ceiling or towards the floor.

4.3.3 Back walls on the view window module
Suitable shelf structures include L 993-930 and 993-932 with flat oval supports.
1. Mount the back walls via the attachment and into the lower connection frame 1 2 .
2. Line the element with the four bore holes in the middle.
3. In order to connect the middle element to the outer one, unscrew the lateral twist lock using an SW7 Allen key 3.

4.4.2 Installing the hanging rails
1. Mount the hanging rail (297-749) into the slot of the view window module 1.
2. Stick the rod into the holder from above 2.
3. In order to present merchandise individually in a suspended manner, hang the hooks onto the hanging rail.

6 Weight loads
WARNING
Risk of injury from goods or merchandise supports falling down.
The system can fail if the maximum permissible load of the merchandise support is exceeded.
fObserve the maximum load values of the individual merchandise supports.
fDo not exceed the maximum load of 30kg per frame.
The specified weight loads refer to the components listed in the Visplay manual. The maximum weight loads apply with respect
to a uniform load distribution. In the event of visible warpage of the components, the load must be reduced immediately.

7 General information
7.1 Cleaning
During the course of time, dust and deposits from clothes hangers can settle on the merchandise supports. In order that the
goods on display do not become soiled, the merchandise supports must be regularly cleaned.
1. Pull the power plug out of the power outlet.
2. Remove goods from the merchandise support.
3. Remove dirt on the merchandise support carefully with a soft, dry cloth.
4. Remove stubborn dirt with a mild cleaning agent.
7.2 Storage
Store the product and its components under the following conditions:
• Do not store outdoors.
• Store in a dry and dust-free location.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Avoid mechanical shocks.
• Storage temperature: 23°C
• Relative humidity: 50%
7. 3 Disposal
NOTE
Disposing of product components incorrectly can harm the environment.
fEnsure product components are disposed of in a proper environmental manner or through waste management specialists.
fSend components that can be recycled for recycling.
fHave an approved specialized disposal company dispose of electrical and electronic components.
