POWER SUPPLY
Power Supply from the Adapter
1. Insert the power adapter plug into the power adapter jack (9)
2. Connect the adapter to the power supply.
Note:
• When the player is working from batteries and the adapter becomes
connected, the power supply will automatically be switched to the
adapter.
• Use only the adapter included with the player. Other models of power
adapters can damage the player.
• Before connecting make sure that the adapter operating oltage
corresponds to the oltage of the local power supply.
• When not using the player, disconnect the adapter from the power
supply.
• Do not touch the adapter with wet hands.
Supply from Batteries
1. Disconnect the network adapter from the power supply outlet.
2. Open the battery compartment (18).
3. Insert two i-MH batteries (1.2V 1200ìÀ, rectangular type), observing
their polarity.
4. Close the battery compartment (18).
Charging the Batteries
1. Connect the network adapter to the power supply outlet.
2. Put the charging switch (15) to the "O " position to start charging. The
red charging indicator (16) will light up, showing the beginning of
charging process.
3. After 15 hours disconnect the power adapter from the power supply .

Attention:
•Do not use ( i-MH) and normal (alkaline) batteries simultaneously.
•Do not charge batteries for more than 24 hours, it can damage them.
Note:
• If the batteries are being charged for the first time, the charging process
will take about 15 hours.
• If the batteries' operating time has significantly decreased, it is necessary
to obtain new batteries.
EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS
Connection to Audio system
Connect a stereo cable (not included with the player) to the line output (10)
of the player and to the line input of the audio system (CD or AUX).
Note: Always disconnect CD player power supply before connecting it to
audio system.
•If CD player creates interference with TV or radio, place it away from radio
sets and TV.
HEADPHONES AND REMOTE CONTROL
Connect the stereo headphones (included with the player) to the head-
phones jack (11) on the remote control, then connect the remote control
plug to the remote control jack (19).
CD / MP3 PLAYBACK
Reduce the volume before connecting headphones to the player.
1. Connect the headphones included with the player to the headphones jack
(11).
2. Press the Open CD Compartment button (8).
3. Insert CD or MP3 disc with the label facing up.

4. Close the CD compartment.
5. Press PLAY / PAUSE button (6) to start playback.
6. Set the volume control (12) into the needed position.
7. Turn on the BASS BOOST function if you wish.
8. To pause the playback, press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6).
• The display will show the track playback time.
• Once again press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) to resume the playback.
9. To stop playback, press STOP button (5), the player will automatically be
switched off in 60 seconds.
CD Disc
Total number of tracks and the CD playback time are displayed on the LED-
display. During playback, the current track number and its playback time are
displayed.
MP3 Disc
Total number of albums and tracks are displayed on the LED-display. During
the playback, the current track number, the performer name and the album
name are displayed.
Note: Playback of 8 and 12 sm discs is possible. The CD compartment must
contain only one of these discs.
CD / MP3 Discs Playback
1. Set the desired volume level.
2. To pause the playback, press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6).
The playback time of the track will flash on the display. To resume the
playback, press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) once again.
3. To stop playback, press STOP button (5).
4. To turn off the player, press the STOP button (5) twice.
ote:
•If during playback, the CD door opens accidentally, the message "OPE "
will show on the display.
•Wait for the disc to stop fully before pressing the Open CD Compartment
button (8).
•The device can play 8 ñm discs without using a special adapter.
Additional Information
•If CD - RW or CD - R disc is written with errors, the message " O DISC"

will show on the display. When recording audio CD, use the FI ALIZE
function.
•Playback will be stopped, if you open the CD lid.
•When reading CD, message "ESP" is flashing on the LED-display.
•After inactivity, the player will automatically turn off in 60 seconds, and all
settings will be lost.
CHOOSING a CD TRACK
1. Press SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW button (4) to return to the track
beginning.
2. Press SKIP / SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW button (4) to search for the
previous tracks.
3. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) to search for the next
tracks.
4. Press and keep SKIP/ SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW (4) or SKIP/SEARCH
FW / TU I G UP (3) buttons for the accelerated track search.
Note: With the accelerated track search the olume le el will decrease and
playback will be accelerated.
CHOOSING an ÌÐ3 TRACK
5. Press SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW button (4) to return to the
track beginning.
6. Press SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW button (4) to search for the
previous tracks.
7. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) to search for the next
tracks.
REPEAT CD PLAYBACK
1. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6)
2. To repeat the current track press MODE button (2) once. The message
" " will appear in the display.
When the current track has finished, its repeated playback starts until STOP
button (1) is pressed or MODE button (2) is pressed four times, at this the
message " " disappears from the display.
3. To repeat the entire disc, press MODE button (2) twice. The message
" ALL" will appear in the display.
Press MODE button (2) three times to cancel the repeated playback of the

REPEAT MP3 PLAYBACK
1. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6)
2. To repeat the current track, press MODE button (2) once. The message

(2) is pressed four times, at this the message " " disappears from the

The message " ALL" will appear on the display. Press MODE button (2)
three times to cancel the repeated playback of the disc, and the message
" ALL" will disappear from the LED-display.
INTRO CD FUNCTION
1. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6).
2. Press MODE button (2) three times to enter the track review mode for the
disc (I TRO), and the message "I TRO" will be shown on the
LED-display.
3. The player will start playing the first 10 seconds of each track.
4. Press MODE button (2) two times to cancel the I TRO function and enter
the normal playback mode.
5. The player will turn off in 60 seconds after playing all tracks of the disc.
INTRO MP3 FUNCTION
1. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6).
2. Press MODE button (2) three times to enter the track review mode for the
disc (I TRO), and the message "I TRO" will be shown on the
LED-display.
3. The player will start playing the first 10 seconds of each track.
4. Press MODE button (2) two times to cancel the I TRO function and enter
the normal playback mode.

5. The player will turn off in 60 seconds after playing all tracks of the disc.
RANDOM CD FUNCTION
1. Press MODE button (2) four times to enter the random playback mode for
the disc tracks, and the message "RA D" will appear on the display.
2. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) to start playing tracks randomly.
3. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) to select the next track.
4. Press MODE button (2) two times to cancel the random playback function
and activate the normal playback mode.
RANDOM MP3 FUNCTION
1. Press the MODE (2) button five times to enter the random playback mode
(RA DOM), and the message "RA D" will appear on the display.
2. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) to playback tracks randomly.
3. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) to select the next track.
4. Press MODE button (2) two times to cancel the random playback function
and activate the normal playback mode.
PROGRAMMING CD TRACKS PLAYBACK
1. In the disc stop mode press and keep MODE button (2) for 2 seconds,
and the message with the track number and the program number will be
shown on the display.

2. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) or SKIP/SEARCH BW /
TU I G DOW button (4) to choose the desired track. The track number
will be displayed on the LED-display.
3. Press MODE button (2) to store the track into the memory.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 to enter up to 64 tracks into the memory.
5. Press MODE button (2) to end programming.
6. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) to start the program playback.
7. To cancel the program playback, press STOP button (1) twice.
Note: During the playback mode, if you want to repeat the playback of the
programmed tracks, press MODE button (2) until the message " ALL"
appears on the LED-display.

PROGRAMMING MP3 TRACKS PLAYBACK
1. In the stop disc mode press and keep MODE button (2) for 2 seconds,
and the message with the album, track and program numbers will appear
on the display.

ALBUM UMBER TRACK UMBER PROGRAM UMBER
The album number symbol "A XX " will flash.
1. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) or SKIP/SEARCH BW /
TU I G DOW button (4) to select the desired album. The selected
album number will be displayed on the LED-display.
2. Press MODE button (2) to store the selected album into the memory. The
flashing message of track number " F XXX " will appear on the display.
3. Press SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP button (3) or SKIP/SEARCH BW /
TU I G DOW button (4) to select the desired track. The track number
will be shown on the display.
4. Press MODE button (2) to store the track into the memory. The track
number message will cease flashing.
5. Repeat steps 3-6 to enter up to 64 tracks into the memory.
6. Press MODE button (2) to finish programming.
7. Press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) to start playing the program.
10.To cancel the program playing, press STOP button (1) twice.
SEARCHING IN MP3 DISC
You can perform search in the MP3 mode using the following methods:
By the track name
Press ESP button (14) and the message "A-XXXXXX" will appear on the dis-
play.
1. By pressing the buttons SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP(3) and
SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW (4) select the initial letter of the track.
2. After selecting the letter, press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6), and the
tracks will be played which names begin from the selected letter.
3. By pressing the buttons SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP (3) or
SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW (4), select the desired track.
By the album name
1. Press ESP button (14) twice, and the message "ROOT" will appear on the
display.

2. By pressing buttons SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP (3) or
SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW (4) select the desired album.
3. After selecting the album, press PLAYBACK / PAUSE button (6) to start
playback.
RADIO
Normal setting
1. Press "FM" button to enter the FM radio mode.
2. Tune to the radio station using the buttons SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G
UP (3) or SKIP/SEARCH BW / TU I G DOW (4). When keeping these
buttons in the pressed position for more than 2 seconds, the automatic
search function starts.
3. To turn off the radio, press STOP button (5).
Programming radio stations
You can store up to 10 FM stations in the memory.
1. Using the buttons SKIP/ SEARCH FW / TU I G UP (3) or SKIP/SEARCH
BW / TU I G DOW (4), find the needed radio station.
2. Press the MODE button (2), on the LED-display and the message "PROG"
and the memory cell number will appear.
3. Press ESP button (14) to select a memory cell number where you wish to
store the radio station.
4. Press MODE button (2) to store the radio station in the memory.
Selecting a Station Stored in Memory
Press the ESP button (14) to select the desired station.
Note: Unfold the headphones cord since it performs the function of FM aeri-
al.
Stereo / Mono Receiving Modes
The function works only in FM mode. Press ESP button (14), if a strong noise
is present when listening to FM station. If the reception is conducted in the
Stereo mode, pressing ESP button (14) will switch to the Mono mode. Press
ESP button (14) once again to return to the initial mode.
Dynamic Bass Boost
To amplify the sound of low frequencies, set the BASS BOOST switch (13)
into "O " position.
Note: When listening at a high olume le el with Bass Boost acti ated, the
distortion of sound can be heard. After reducing the olume le el, the sound
quality will impro e.

Protection against Playback Interruption
(ESP/ANTI SHOCK SYSTEM)
• When the function is activated, it stops playback interruption after external
pressure.
• Press ESP button (14) during CD playback, the message "ESP" starts
flashing and the function of protection against playback interruption
(ESP/A TI-SHOCK SYSTEM) is activated.
• If external pressure continuously impacts on the player for more than 45
seconds (in CD mode) or 120 seconds (in MP3 mode), the sound can be
interrupted, and the message "ESP" will flash.
• To turn off the function, press ESP button (14) once again.
Note:
• When the protection against playback interruption is acti ated, the disc
rotates faster, than in the normal playback mode. To economize battery
use, use this function only when necessary.
• The function does not impro e the playing of scratched or spoiled discs.
•IMPORTANT! In MP3 mode the function of protection against play
back interruption is always active, and it is impossible to switch it
off.
HOLD Switch (17)
It is used to block all buttons on the player. To activate it, put HOLD switch
(17) in "O " position.
CARE
Cleaning the Device
Wipe the exterior of the player with a soft cloth slightly moistened with warm
soapy water.
Handling CD Discs
• Your player has been created to play discs with CD or MP3 marking. Discs
of other formats will not work.
• Always put discs with the label side facing up.
• Damage of a disc surface or its improper handling affects the playback
quality.
• To prevention disc damage, handle it accurately.
• Keep disc surface clean and, if necessary, wipe it with a dry cloth from the
center to the edge.
• Do not use cleaning sprays, antistatics or chemical reagents to clean the

disc surface. It can damage the disc's plastic coating.
• After listening to the CD, always put it into its box. Avoid exposing CDs to
direct sunlight, high temperature or humidity. Do not write on CD's face
side with a pen, as it can damage the disc.
ATTENTION!
The device can play discs of CD - R/RW type, but only if they have been
recorded correctly. Playback of all CD - R/RW discs is not guaranteed by the
manufacturer.

Ïèòàíèå îò ñåòåâîãî àäàïòåðà
1. Âñòàâüòå øòåêåð ñåòåâîãî àäàïòåðà â ðàçúåì äëÿ ñåòåâîãî àäàïòåðà

2. Ïîäêëþ÷èòå àäàïòåð ê ýëåêòðîñåòè.
Ïðèìå÷àíèå:
• Ïðè ðàáîòå îò áàòàðååê è ïîäêëþ÷åíèè ê àäàïòåðó ïèòàíèå
àâòîìàòè÷åñêè ïåðåêëþ÷èòñÿ íà àäàïòåð.
• Èñïîëüçóéòå òîëüêî âõîäÿùèé â êîìïëåêò ïëååðà àäàïòåð. Äðóãèå
ìîäåëè ñåòåâûõ àäàïòåðîâ ìîãóò ïîâðåäèòü ïëååð.
• Ïåðåä ïîäêëþ÷åíèåì óáåäèòåñü, ÷òî ðàáî÷åå íàïðÿæåíèå àäàïòåðà
ñîîòâåòñòâóåò íàïðÿæåíèþ ìåñòíîé ýëåêòðîñåòè.
• Ïðè íå èñïîëüçîâàíèè ïëååðà îòêëþ÷èòå àäàïòåð îò ýëåêòðîñåòè.
• Íå òðîãàéòå àäàïòåð ìîêðûìè ðóêàìè.
Ïèòàíèå îò àêêóìóëÿòîðíûõ áàòàðååê
1. Îòêëþ÷èòå ñåòåâîé àäàïòåð îò ýëåêòðîñåòè.
2. Îòêðîéòå îòñåê äëÿ áàòàðååê (18).
3. Âñòàâüòå äâå i-MH àêêóìóëÿòîðíûå áàòàðåéêè (1.2 B 1200 ìÀ,
ïðÿìîóãîëüíîãî òèïà), ñîáëþäàÿ ïðè ýòîì ïîëÿðíîñòü.
4. Çàêðîéòå îòñåê äëÿ áàòàðååê (18).
Çàðÿäêà àêêóìóëÿòîðíûõ áàòàðååê
1. Ïîäêëþ÷èòå ñåòåâîé àäàïòåð ê ýëåêòðîñåòè.
2. Âêëþ÷èòå ïåðåêëþ÷àòåëü çàðÿäêè (15) â ïîëîæåíèå "O " äëÿ íà÷àëà
çàðÿäêè. Çàãîðèòñÿ êðàñíûé èíäèêàòîð çàðÿäêè (16), ïîêàçûâàþùèé
íà÷àëî ïðîöåññà çàðÿäêè.
3. ×åðåç 15 ÷àñîâ îòêëþ÷èòå ñåòåâîé àäàïòåð îò ýëåêòðîñåòè.

Ïîäêëþ÷åíèå ê àóäèîñèñòåìå
Ïîäêëþ÷èòå ñòåðåî êàáåëü (íå âõîäèò â êîìïëåêò) ê ëèíåéíîìó âûõîäó
(10) ïëååðà è ê ëèíåéíîìó âõîäó àóäèîñèñòåìû (CD èëè AUX).
Ïðèìå÷àíèå:
• Âñåãäà îòêëþ÷àéòå ïèòàíèå CD ïëååðà ïåðåä ïîäêëþ÷åíèåì åãî ê
àóäèîñèñòåìå.
• Åñëè CD ïëååð ñîçäàåò ïîìåõè äëÿ ÒÂ èëè ðàäèî, ðàñïîëîæèòå åãî
ïîäàëüøå îò ðàäèîïðèåìíèêîâ è ÒÂ.
ÍÀÓØÍÈÊÈ È ÏÓËÜÒ ÄÈÑÒÀÍÖÈÎÍÍÎÃÎ ÓÏÐÀÂËÅÍÈß
Ïîäêëþ÷èòå ñòåðåîíàóøíèêè (âõîäÿò â êîìïëåêò) ê âûõîäó äëÿ
íàóøíèêîâ (11) íà ïóëüòå ÄÓ, çàòåì ïîäêëþ÷èòå øòåêåð ïóëüòà ÄÓ ê

CD äèñê
Îáùåå ÷èñëî òðåêîâ è âðåìÿ âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ äèñêà îòîáðàæàþòñÿ íà
ÆÊ-äèñïëåå. Ïðè âîñïðîèçâåäåíèè îòîáðàæàþòñÿ íîìåð òåêóùåãî
òðåêà è âðåìÿ åãî âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ.
MP3 äèñê
Îáùåå ÷èñëî àëüáîìîâ è òðåêîâ îòîáðàæàþòñÿ íà ÆÊ-äèñïëåå. Ïðè
âîñïðîèçâåäåíèè îòîáðàæàþòñÿ íîìåð è íàçâàíèå òåêóùåãî òðåêà, èìÿ
èñïîëíèòåëÿ, íàçâàíèå àëüáîìà.
Ïðèìå÷àíèå: âîçìîæíî âîñïðîèçâåäåíèå äèñêîâ äèàìåòðîì 8 è 12 ñì.
ïðè ýòîì â CD îòñåêå äîëæåí íàõîäèòñÿ òîëüêî îäèí èç äèñêîâ.
Âîñïðîèçâåäåíèå CD/MP3 äèñêîâ
1. Óñòàíîâèòå æåëàåìûé óðîâåíü ãðîìêîñòè.
2. Äëÿ âðåìåííîé îñòàíîâêè âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ íàæìèòå êíîïêó
ÂÎÑÏÐÎÈÇÂÅÑÒÈ/ÏÀÓÇÀ (6). Âîñïðîèçâåäåííîå âðåìÿ òðåêà
îòîáðàçèòñÿ ìèãàíèåì íà äèñïëåå. Äëÿ âîçîáíîâëåíèÿ
âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ åùå ðàç íàæìèòå êíîïêó ÂÎÑÏÐÎÈÇÂÅÑÒÈ/ÏÀÓÇÀ
(6).
3. Äëÿ îñòàíîâêè âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ íàæìèòå êíîïêó ÑÒÎÏ (5).
4. Äëÿ âûêëþ÷åíèÿ ïëååðà äâàæäû íàæìèòå êíîïêó ÑÒÎÏ (5).
Ïðèìå÷àíèå:
• Ïðè ñëó÷àéíîì îòêðûòèè äâåðöû CD âî âðåìÿ âîñïðîèçâåäåíèÿ íà
äèñïëåå ïîÿâèòñÿ íàäïèñü "OPEN".
• Äîæäèòåñü ïîëíîé îñòàíîâêè äèñêà ïåðåä íàæàòèåì êíîïêè
îòêðûòèÿ îòñåêà CD (8).
• Óñòðîéñòâî ìîæåò ïðîèãðûâàòü 8 ñì. äèñêè áåç èñïîëüçîâàíèÿ
ñïåöèàëüíîãî àäàïòåðà.
Äîïîëíèòåëüíàÿ èíôîðìàöèÿ
•Åñëè äèñê ôîðìàòà CD-RW èëè CD-R çàïèñàí ñ îøèáêàìè, íà
äèñïëåå ïîÿâèòñÿ íàäïèñü " O DISC". Ïðè çàïèñè àóäèî CD
èñïîëüçóéòå ôóíêöèþ FI ALIZE.
•Âîñïðîèçâåäåíèå ïðåêðàòèòñÿ, åñëè âû îòêðîåòå êðûøêó CD.
•Ïðè ñ÷èòûâàíèè CD íà ÆÊ-äèñïëåå çàìèãàåò ñèìâîë "ESP".
•Ïðè áåçäåéñòâèè ïëååð àâòîìàòè÷åñêè îòêëþ÷èòñÿ ÷åðåç 60 ñåêóíä,
ïðè ýòîì áóäóò ïîòåðÿíû âñå åãî íàñòðîéêè è óñòàíîâêè.
