7. Water and Moisture # The applian e should not be used
near water (for example, near a bathtub, washbowl,

8. Ventilation # The applian e should be situated so that its
lo ation or position does not interfere with its proper ven#
tilation. Do not use the applian e on a bed, sofa, rug or
similar surfa e that may blo k the ventilation openings.
9. Heat # Keep the applian e away from heat sour es su h
as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other applian es
(in luding amplifiers) that produ e heat.
10. Nonuse Periods # The power ord of the applian e
should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused
for a long period of time.
11. Damage requiring servi e # The applian e should be
servi ed by qualified servi e personnel when:
a/ The power#supply ord or the plug has been dam#
aged; or
b/ Obje ts have fallen or liquid has been spilled into the
applian e; or
/ The applian e has been exposed to rain; or
d/ The applian e does not appear to operate normally or
exhibits a marked hange in performan e; or
e/ The applian e has been dropped, or the en losure
damaged.
12. Servi ing # The user should not attempt to servi e the
applian e beyond that spe ified in the operating instru #
tions. All other servi ing should be referred to qualified
servi e personnel.
13. Clean only with dry loth.
14. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or
groundingtype plug. A polarized plug has two blades with
one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two
blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or
the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provid#
ed plug does not fit into your outlet, onsult and ele tri#
ian for repla ement of the obsolete outlet.
15. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
