
MEAT GRINDER
WARNING
INJURY HAZARD
Never place fingers, hands or other objects into the feed chute other than the
food pusher provided with the appliance. Injury and product damage will
occur.
Using the Meat Grinder:
1. Before grinding, tighten the thumbscrew counter-clockwise until secure. Do NOT
use a tool or over-tighten.
2. Tighten the grinding head plate against the grinding plate securely.
3. Prepare meat for grinding by removing all skin and bones.
4. Cut meat into appropriately sized pieces for grinding.
5. Place meat tray on top of grinder assembly making sure it is inserted fully into
grinding head feed tube.
6. Turn grinder on to desired setting.
7. Feed meat into grinder chamber with special meat pusher that was included with
your unit. Never use fingers, hands or other objects.
8. Feed product to grind slowly and at a rate that the grinder will accept. Do not
force too much product into the grinder chamber, It can cause the grinder to stop
working because the grinder is overloaded.
9. After use disconnect the unit from power supply.
Note: If the unit becomes jammed or the discharge is erratic, reverse the switch
momentarily, turn unit off, disconnect from the electrical power source and check the
following:
Thumb screw too tight; loosen and hand-tighten, do not over-tighten
Discharge plate is blocked; remove and clear
Blade edges are dull; have sharpened or replace
Overloading and motor stops; switch off and reset
WARNING
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Do not spray outside of the unit or controls with liquid or cleaning product.
Liquid could enter the electrical compartment and cause a short circuit or
electric shock.
Cleaning:
1. Disassemble the grinding head.
2. Wash individual components thoroughly. Hand washing is recommended for best
operation and long life of the grinder head assembly. Rinse all parts thoroughly.
3. Allow grinding head assembly to dry thoroughly before re-assembling.
Repair:
There are no user serviceable parts within this meat grinder. To avoid serious injury or
damage, never attempt to repair or replace a damaged power cord yourself. Contact a
qualified professional repair service.
