IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present,

Polythene bags over product or package may be dangerous. To avoid
danger of suffocation, keep this wrapper away from babies and children.
This bag is not a toy.
DANGER: When the unit is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use
since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the unit is
switched off.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance in or near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

Unplug immediately.

Use
BeforeusingyourVSPROstyler…
•Washyourhair,dryusingahairdryeranduntanglewithalargetoothcomb.
•PlugyourVSPROstylerintothemainsandpressthe‘I/O’button.Thered
indicatorlightwillcomeon:afteraverybriefheat-uptime,yourstyleris
ready to use; the red LED will remain lit throughout use.
Note! Every time you use your styler, you may notice some steam being
released. This may be from the evaporation of the sebum or the remains of
hairproducts(leave-inhaircare,hairspray,etc.)ordampnessinyourhair.You
will also notice that the unit sputters slightly, this sound is normal for a high
output ion generator.
•Setthetemperatureusingthetemperatureselector.Generally,we
recommendstartingwithalowertemperatureforne,bleachedand/or
damagedhair,andahighertemperatureforcurly,thickand/ordifcult-to-
style hair. Because every hair type is different, we recommend you set the
applianceatposition1whenyouuseitforthersttime.Youcanincrease
the temperature progressively as necessary over the next few uses.
Please use the table for reference:
To straighten your hair
•Takeupasectionofhairabout3-4cmwideandplaceitbetweentheplates
near the roots of your hair.
•Closetheplatesandhold,slidingtheapplianceslowlyfromtherootstothe
tips.Repeatifnecessary.
•Forperfectstraighteningthatfallsvertically,separatethesectionsofner
hair and straighten them slowly.
•For‘volumestraightening’,separatethethickersectionsofyourhairand
straightenthemmorequickly.
•Styleyourhairforthenaltouch.Setthestraighteningwithalittle
hairspray, but do not brush your hair.
To shape the ends
Theprostylercanalsobeusedtoemphasisetheendsofyourhair…
•Tostyleyouhairbyturningtheendsunder,useasdescribedaboveandturn
the unit under, with the rotating barrel under the hair.
•Toiptheendsofyourhairoutward,usethesamemovebutintheopposite
direction, with the rotating barrel on top of your hair.
•Afteruse,pressthe‘I/O’buttonandunplugtheunit.
To create volume at the roots
•Takeupa3-4cmwidesectionofhair,holdingtheplatesperpendicularto
your head, place your hair between the plates with the rotating barrel under
your hair.
•Closetheunitandmakeaone-quarterturnwiththehair,holdfor1to2
seconds, then slowly slide the unit from the roots to the ends.
•Usetheunitonlyattherootsandifyouwanttostylethesamesectionof
hair again to intensify the effect, wait until it has cooled.
•Whennishedstylingtheroots,combyourhairwithawidetoothedcombto
even the waves and generate volume.
To curl your hair
•Takeupa3to4cmsectionofhairandclosetheunitwiththerotating
barrel underneath.
•Holdingtheunitclosed,turnitupwards180°,sothatthewindowonthe
rotating barrel can be seen on top of the section.
•Thengentlypulltotheends,releasethesectionandyouwillhaveasuperb
curl.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON HEAT DAMAGED OR CHEMICALLY
TREATED HAIR ON THE HIGHER HEAT SETTINGS

Maintenance
•Allowtheunittocoolcompletely.
•Therotatingbarrelmayberemovedfromtheunit.Rotatethelockone-
quarterturnanti-clockwiseandpullout.
•Cleantheplateandthebarrelusingasoft,dampcloth,withoutdetergent,to
preservetheiroptimalquality.Donotscratchtheplateorbarrel.
•Putthebarrelbackintotheunitbyholdingituprightandslidingthepins
intotheirhousing.Rotatethelockone-quarterturnclockwiseuntilyouhear
a click.
