Tento návod obsahuje dùleité pokyny a bezpe nostní upozornìní. Pro zabezpe ení správné funkce a vlastní
bezpe nosti si pøed pouitím výrobku dùkladnì pøe tìte následující pøedpisy a dodrujte je!
Axiální potrubní ventilátor VULKAN
øad VKN-P
Ventilátor je ur en pro provoz ve vnitøním základním prostøedí s okolní teplotou viz títek ventilátoru, pro dopravu
istého vzduchu bez prachu, mastnot, výparù chemikálií a dalích zne itìní. Dále je nutné zajistit, aby ventilátor
nenamrzal a nestékal do nìj a neusazoval se v nìm kondenzát vody z potrubí. Elektrické krytí motoru ventilátoru je IP 44.
K nosným konstrukcím se ventilátor pøipevòuje pomocí konzoly VKN-P-xxx/K.
Pruné spojení VKN-P-xxx/P slouí k omezení pøenosu chvìní mezi ventilátorem a ostatními ástmi potrubního
rozvodu.
Ochranná møíka VKN-P-xxx/M se pouívá k zamezení pokození ventilátoru vniknutím cizích tìles a k zabránìní
pøípadnému úrazu (zejména pokud je ventilátor namontován na konci vzduchotechnického rozvodu).
Pøed montáí je nutno ventilátor pe livì prohlédnout, zejména byl-li delí dobu skladován. Pøedevím je tøeba zjistit, zda
není nìkterý díl pokozen, zda jsou v poøádku izolace kabelù a zda se rotující ásti ventilátoru volnì otá ejí.
Ventilátory VKN-P je moné montovat v jakékoliv poloze (doporu ují se vak instalovat s osou motoru ve vodorovné
poloze pro bezproblémový odvod pøípadného kondenzátu). Pøipojovací kabel musí být pøiveden k motoru z boku nebo
ze zdola. Do potrubí se ventilátory upevòují pomocí roubù skrze otvory v pøírubách plátì ventilátoru.

Ventilátory VKN-P nemají ádný svùj pøipojovací kabel. Pøipojení ventilátoru se provádí pøímo do svorkovnice v krabi ce
umístìné na tìle ventilátoru. Krabi ka má krytí IP 54. Obsahuje prùchodku pro kabel pøipojení, svorkovnici a u
jednofázových motorù také rozbìhový kondenzátor.
Pøipojení ventilátorù k elektrické sítì musí provést pouze osoba s odbornou kvalifikací v souladu s národními pøedpisy.
K elektrické síti musí být ventilátor pøipojen pomocí spínaného zaøízení u nìho se vzdálenost rozpojených kontaktù
rovná nejménì 3mm. Pøed uvedením do provozu musí být provedena revize elektrické instalace. Zkontrolujte zda napìtí
a frekvence v síti odpovídají údajùm na títku ventilátoru. Pøipojovací kabel nesmí být vystaven nadmìrnému silovému
namáhání. Do elektrické sítì musí být ventilátor vdy pøipojen pøes tepelnou ochranu motoru.
Po zapojení je tøeba zmìøit protékající proud, který musí odpovídat jmenovitému proudu na títku motoru.
Regulace otá ek se provádí sniováním napájecího napìtí elektronickými nebo transformátorovými regulátory otá ek.
Pøi pouití elektronického regulátoru otá ek (napø. VRS) mùe dojít v oblasti nízkých otá ek ke vzniku parazitního hluku.

OBSLUHA A ÚDRBA Obsluhu a údrbu ventilátoru mùe provádìt pouze osoba k této innosti tìlesnì i duevnì zpùsobilá, seznámená s
tímto návodem k pouívání a platnými obecnì závaznými bezpe nostními pøedpisy. Ovládání chodu ventilátoru je
provádìno v rámci ovládání vzduchotechnického systému, do kterého je zapojen. Na ventilátoru je nutné provádìt
pravidelné revize vyplývající z poadavkù pøísluných bezpe nostních pøedpisù a norem. Pøi provozu je tøeba dohlíet
na správnou funkci ventilátoru, klidný chod, pe ovat o istotu ventilátoru a jeho okolí, zatìovat ventilátor pouze v
rozsahu jeho výkonových charakteristik. Doporu ujeme prohlídku ventilátoru kadých 6 mìsícù, pokud je ventilátor
trvale v chodu. Pøed itìním je tøeba odpojit ventilátor od hlavního pøívodu a zablokovat hlavní spína . Po kejte a se
motor a obìné kolo zastaví.

Axial-flow in-line fan VULKAN VKN-P
series
OPERATING
CONDITIONS
INSTALLATION
The fan is determined for operating in the inside standard environment with ambient temperatures as per fan label, for
transport of clean air free of dust, grease, chemicals' evaporation or other pollution. Further, it is necessary to ensure
that the fan does not freeze and that the duct water condensate does not flow into it and does not stay there. The electric
protection degree of the fan motor is IP 44.
The fan is fixed to supporting structures by means of a VKN-P-xxx/K bracket. The flexible VKN-P-xxx/P connection
serves for the suppression of vibration transfer between the fan and other parts of ducting.
VKN-P-xxx/M protective grid is used for preventing damage of the fan caused by foreign particles and of contingent injury
(especially in case the fan is assembled at the end of the HVAC ducting). Before installation, it is necessary to check the
fan properly, namely if it has been stored for a longer time period. Especially, it is necessary to find out if any of the parts is
not damaged, if cables insulation is all right and if rotating parts of the fan can rotate freely.
VKN-P fans can be fitted in any position (however, it is recommended that they are installed in such a way that the engine
axis is in the horizontal position because of free outlet of the contingent condensate). The connecting cable must be
attached to the motor from the side or from the bottom. The fans are affixed to the ducting by means of screws through
openings in flanges of a fan casing.

ELECTRIC
INSTALLATION
VKN-P fans have no own connecting cable. Fan connecting is made directly into the terminal board in the box placed on
the casing of the fan. The box is of protection degree IP 54. It contains a bushing for a connecting cable, terminal board
and in case of single-phase engines also a starting condenser.
Only a person with appropriate qualification can make connecting of fans to the supply mains and also in according with
national regulations and directives. The fan must be attached to the supply mains by means of a switching appliance,
where the distance of disconnected contacts equals 3mm at least. An inspection of the electric installation must be
performed before putting the fan into operation. Check whether voltage and frequency in the supply mains correspond to
the data on the fan label. The power mains cable cannot be exposed to the excess stress. The fan must be always
connected to the power supply mains via the motor thermal protection. After the connection is finished, it is necessary to
measure the current, which must correspond to the nominal current on the motor's label.

The speed is controlled by supply voltage lowering by means of electronic or transformer speed regulators. In case the
electronic speed controller (e.g. VRS) is used, parasitic noise may occur in the low-speed zone.

Only such a person that is physically and intellectually qualified to this activity and who is acquainted with these
Operation instructions and generally binding safety regulations in force can perform the service and maintenance of the
fan. The fan operation is controlled by the control of the HVAC system into which it is connected.
It is necessary to perform regular inspections of the fan stemming from requirements of relevant safety regulations and
standards. During the operation, it is necessary to observe the correct function of the fan, smooth operation, take care of
the cleanness of the fan and its surroundings, and load the fan to the extent of its power characteristics only. If the fan is
working permanently, we recommend that the check be performed every 6 months. Before cleaning, it is necessary that
the fan is disconnected from the main power supply and the main switch is blocked. Wait until the motor and fan propeller
are stopped.
