1 Veiligheid
1.1 Voorwoord
Deze handleiding bevat alle nodige informaties voor de bediening, de veiligheid en het onderhoud van uw
bandschuurmachine.
Een ongeschikt gebruik van de machine kan zware schade en/of verwondingen veroorzaken. Vooraleer de machine te
gebruiken moet de bediener deze handleiding aandachtig lezen en begrijpen om zichzelf en de machine te beschermen.
Installeer, gebruik en onderhoud de machine in overeenkomst met de richtlijnen. De producent is niet verantwoordelijk voor
ongevallen door nalatigheid gebeurd of door het niet naleven van de instructies van die handleiding.
Geef de handleiding door aan de bediener, en deze moet de machine leren kennen voor ermee te werken.
Wat de veiligheidsvoorschriften betreft zijn de afbeeldingen van deze handleiding onvolledig. De gebruiker moet nochtans
weten dat hij alle beschermingen en bedekkingen ter plaats moet laten om gevaren te vermijden.
Details in de afbeeldingen kunnen van uw machine verschillen.
De producent behoud zich het recht voor wijzigingen aan de machines zonder aankondiging.
De handleiding is een deel van de machine en moet altijd erbij blijven, zelfs als deze verkocht of verplaatst wordt.

1.3 Toepassingsgebied
De schuurmachine is geschikt voor het schuren en polijsten van metalen oppervlakten in bedrijven, de ruwheid verminderen en
de helderheid verbeteren van onderdelen. Ze biedt een hoge efciëntie en superieure prestaties. Die is een ideaal alternatief
voor het polijsten.
De machine is geschikt alleen voor het algemene schuren van metalen in de omvang van haar mogelijkheden. Metalen met
een lage zelfontbrandingstemperatuur, zoals aluminium of magnesium, mogen niet met die machine bewerkt worden.
AANDACHT!
De machine mag niet in een explosiegevaarlijke omgeving gebruikt worden.
1.4 Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Die hoofdstuk bevat belangrijke informaties voor uw veiligheid bij het werk met de machine. In de
verdere hoofdstukken vindt u ook andere veiligheidsvoorschriften.
• Die bandschuurmachine beantwoordt aan de laatste stand van de techniek . Dan nog blijft een risico bestaan, daar de
bandschuurmachine werkt met:
- Hoge toerentallen,
- Roterende onderdelen,
- Een slijpband,
- Elektrische stroom en spanningen.
• Het risico voor de gezondheid van personen voor deze gevaren hebben wij constructief en door veiligheidstechniek
geminimaliseerd.
• Bij de bediening en onderhoud van de machine door niet voldoende gekwaliceerd personeel kunnen door verkeerde
bediening of onzorgvuldig onderhoud gevaren uitgaan van de bandschuurmachine.
• Alle personen, die met de montage, ingebruikname, bediening en onderhoud te maken hebben, moeten over de vereiste
kwalicatie beschikken en de handleiding aandachtig lezen.
• Bij verkeerdelijk gebruik kan gevaar ontstaan voor personen, kan de machine en waardevolle zaken beschadigd worden,
en kan de functionaliteit van de machine verminderen.
• Trek steeds de stekker uit het stopcontact bij het uitvoeren van reiniging- of onderhoudswerken aan de machine.
• Alvorens de bandschuurmachine in te schakelen, overtuig u ervan dat daardoor geen gevaar ontstaat voor de personen
aan en rond de machine en dat geen zaken kunnen beschadigd worden.
• Wees zeker dat door uw werk niemand gevaar loopt.
• Volg de aanwijzingen uit deze handleiding zeker op bij montage, bediening, onderhoud en reparaties.
• Werk niet met de bandschuurmachine, wanneer uw concentratievermogen verminderd is door welke oorzaak ook
bijvoorbeeld onder invloed van geneesmiddelen.
• Meldt steeds alle gevaren of gebreken aan de verantwoordelijke.
1.5 Veiligheidsvoorzieningen
Die bandschuurmachine heeft volgende veiligheidsvoorzieningen:
• Aan/uitschakelaar met noodstop
• Een oogbescherming.
Aan/Uit schakelaar
De schakelaar is voorzien van een noodstop. Open het deksel van de noodstop om de bandschuurmachine te kunnen
inschakelen.
AANDACHT!
De machine blijft nog een 30 seconden lopen na het gebruik van de noodstop.
Beschermglas tegen vonken
Het beschermglas vermindert het wegvliegen van spanen en vonken in de richting van de ogen tijdens het werken.
Draag ook een beschermbril!

WAARSCHUWING!
Gebruik de bandschuurmachine enkel met goed werkende veiligheidsvoorzieningen.
Wanneer u een veiligheidsvoorziening overbrugt, verwijdert of op eender welke manier buiten
werking stelt, brengt u uzelf en anderen die aan de bandschuurmachine werken in gevaar.
Mogelijke gevolgen zijn:
• Zware letstels door het schuren van de slijpband ,
• Letsels aan de ogen door rondvliegende spanen of vonken,
• Letsles aan de handen,
• Een dodelijke stroomstoot.
INFORMATIE
De stekker van de machine moet gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn.

3 Uitpakken en installeren
• Neem de machine uit de verpakking en controleer dat deze tijdens het transport niet werd beschadigd. In geval van
problemen, neem onmiddellijk contact op met uw verdeler.
• Installeer de machine in een plaats met maximum 60 % luchtvochtigheid en met een kamertemperatuur tussen 0 en 40 °C.
• Bevestig de machine op een werkbank of een sokkel, die u ook aan de vloer moet vastmaken voor een optimale stabiliteit.
4 Instellingen voor gebruik
AANDACHT !
Om letselsgevaar te voorkomen, ontkoppel de machine van de stroomtoevoer alvorens
instellingen uit te voeren.
4.1 Keuze van de schuurband
Kies de schuurband die voor elk werk past. Bijvoorbeeld een grove korrel om te beginnen en een jne korrel voor de afwerking.
4.2 De schuurband wisselen
• Ontkoppel de machine van de stroomtoevoer.
• Draai de schroef aan de kant tegenover de motor los, om de zijdelingse afdekkap los te maken.
• Bedien de hendel (11) om de schuurband te ontspannen.
• Verwijder de gebruikte schuurband en plaats de nieuwe band door deze uit te lijnen. Controleer ook met de pijlen onder
de band, dat deze in de juiste richting draait.
• Span de schuurband met de hendel (11).
• Sluit de zijdelingse afdekkap.
4.3 De loop van de band instellen
De loop van de band kan door middel van de regelknop (3) worden ingesteld. Controleer met de hand of de band correct
draait. Om de loop van de band in te stellen, draai de knop (3) met de klok mee of tegen de klok in.

5 Gebruik van de machine
• Lees de veiligheidsvoorschriften aandachtig.
• Draag een veiligheidsbril.
• Zorg ervoor, altijd een stabiele postie te hebben en in balans te blijven.
• De rand van de werkstuksteunplaat moet op 1 mm afstand van de schuurband zijn, om het inzetten van het werkstuk tussen
de steunplaat en de band te voorkomen.
• Schakel de machine aan de hoofdschakelaar (5) in.
• Wacht totdat de schuurband de maximale snelheid heeft bereikt alvorens het werk te beginnen.
• Houd het werkstuk met twee handen vast. Breng het werkstuk tegen de schuurband, zonder een te sterk druk te oefenen.
Een afzuigsysteem kan aan de zuigmond (4) aan de onder- of achterkant van de machine worden aangesloten.
Voor een optimale efciëntie, vervang de schuurband op tijd wanneer versleten.
6 Reiniging, onderhoud en reparatie
AANDACHT!
Ontkoppel de machine van de stroomtoevoer voor iedere reiniging, onderhoud of reparatie.
6.1 Reiniging
• Reinig de machine na ieder gebruik. Verwijder de spanen en de stof met een borstel.
Aandacht! Verwijder de spanen niet met blote handen, om letselsgevaar te voorkomen.
• Reinig ook de zuigmonden.
• Gebruik geen compressor om de machine te reinigen, omdat spanen in de ogen kunnen vliegen.
• Maak de spanenopvangbak regelmatig leeg.
6.2 Onderhoud
Door slijtage, kan het gebeuren dat onderhoudswerkzaamheden noodzakelijk zijn. Deze moeten door gekwaliceerd personeel
worden uitgevoerd.

1 Sécurité
1.1 Introduction
Ce mode d’emploi contient toutes les instructions concernant l’utilisation, les consignes de sécurité et l’entretien de votre
machine.
Une mauvaise manipulation ou utilisation de la machine peut causer des dommages matériels ou corporels. Avant d’utiliser la
machine, l’opérateur est tenu de lire attentivement le mode d’emploi et de le comprendre, an de se protéger et de protéger la
machine. Installez, utilisez et entretenez la machine dans le respect des instructions. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en
cas de dommages causés par une négligence et/ou le non respect des instructions de ce manuel.
Remettez ce manuel à l’utilisateur nal, et ce dernier doit se familiariser avec la machine avant son utilisation.
Concernant les consignes de sécurité, les illustrations de ce manuel sont incomplètes. Toutefois, l’utilisateur doit savoir qu’il faut
toujours maintenir à leur place toutes les protections et couvertures pour éviter les situations dangereuses.
Des détails dans les illustrations et spécications peuvent différer de votre machine.

1.3 Champ d’application
La ponceuse est destinée à poncer et polir des surfaces métalliques en usine, de diminuer la rugosité et améliorer la brillance
de pièces détachées. Elle offre une grande efcacité et des performances supérieures en meulage. C’est une alternative idéale
aux polisseuses.
Cette machine est uniquement destinée au ponçage général des métaux, dans la mesure de ses capacités. Des métaux avec un
point d’auto-inammation bas, comme l’aluminium ou le magnésium, ne peuvent pas être travaillés avec cette machine.
ATTENTION !
La machine ne peut pas être utilisée dans un environnement explosif.
1.4 Consignes de sécurité
Ce chapitre contient de précieuses indications qui vous permettront d’utiliser la machine en toute
sécurité.
• Les ponceuses sont soumises à un examen de sécurité (Analyse du danger avec évaluation de risque). La construction et la
mise en oeuvre se basant sur cette analyse correspondent à l’état de la technique.
• Nous avons réduit le risque pour la santé des personnes à un minimum par une construction et une ingénierie sûres. Des
dangers subsistent néanmoins, car la machine fonctionne avec:
- Des vitesses élevées,
- Des pièces rotatives,
- Une bande abrasive,
- De la tension électrique et du courant.
• Des dangers peuvent également venir de la ponceuse lors de l’utilisation et de l’entretien de la ponceuse par du personnel
non qualié ou par une mauvaise utilisation ou un entretien inadéquat.
• Toutes les personnes concernées par l’assemblage, la mise en service, l’utilisation et l’entretien doivent posséder la
qualication nécessaire et lire attentivement ce manuel.
• Une utilisation inappropriée peut engendre des dangers pour les personnes, provoquer des dommages corporels et/ou
matériels, entraver le bon fonctionnement de la machine.
• Mettez toujours l’installation hors circuit quand vous entreprenez des travaux d’entretien ou de nettoyage.
• Assurez-vous avant chaque utilisation qu’aucun membre du personnel n’encours un quelconque danger et qu’aucun
matériel ne risque d’être endommagé.
• Assurez-vous que votre travail ne met personne en danger.
• Suivez les instructions de ce manuel pour tout travail avec la machine.
• Ne travaillez jamais sur la machine lorsque vos facultés de concentration sont altérées ou lorsque vous êtes sous traitement
médical pouvant altérer celles-ci.
• Suivez les règles en matière de prévention des accidents du travail.
• Signalez toute anomalie au responsable.
1.5 Dispositifs de sécurité
La ponceuse dispose des dispositifs de sécurité suivants:
• Interrupteur avec arrêt d’urgence.
• Verre de protection anti-éclats.
Interrupteur on/off
L’interrupteur est muni d’un bouton d’arrêt d’urgence. Ouvrez le couvercle de l’arrêt pour remettre la machine ne marche.
ATTENTION !
La ponceuse tourne encore environ 30 seconde après que vous ayez actionné le bouton d’arrêt
d’urgence.
Verre de protection anti-éclats
Le verre de protection protège l’utilisateur d’éclats et d’étincelles en direction des yeux. Portez également des lunettes de
sécurité.

AVERTISSEMENT !
La ponceuse ne peut être actionnée qu’avec des dispositifs de sécurité qui fonctionnent.
Mettez immédiatement la ponceuse hors circuit, si vous constatez qu’un dispositif de sécurité est
défectueux !
Toutes les installations supplémentaires doivent être équipées de dispositifs de sécurité requis !
Si vous contournez, éliminez ou placez un dispositif de sécurité hors fonction, vous vous mettez
vous-même en danger, ainsi que les autres utilisateurs.
Les conséquences possibles sont:
• De graves blessures par la bande,
• Des blessures à l’oeil par la projection de copeaux ou d’étincelles,
• Des blessures aux mains,
• Un choc électrique mortel.

La prise de la ponceuse doit être accessible librement.

3 Déballage et installation
• Sortez la machine de son emballage et vériez qu’il n’a pas été endommagé pendant le transport. En cas de problème,
prenez contact immédiatement avec votre revendeur.
• Installez la machine dans un endroit avec un taux d’humidité maximum de 60 % et une température ambiante comprise
entre 0 et 40 °C.
• Fixez la machine sur un établi ou sur un socle, que vous devez également xer au sol pour une bonne stabilité.
4 Réglages avant utilisation
ATTENTION !
Avant d’effectuer les réglages sur la machine, débranchez-la pour éviter tout risque de blessure.
4.1 Choix de la bande abrasive
Choisissez le grain de la bande abrasive en fonction du travail à effectuer. Par exemple, un gros grain pour commencer et un
grain plus n pour la nition.
4.2 Changer la bande abrasive
• Débranchez la machine.
• Dévissez la vis du côté opposé au moteur pour détacher le couvercle latéral.
• Actionnez la manette (11) pour desserrer la bande.
• Enlevez la bande usagée et placez la nouvelle bande en l’alignant correctement. Vériez également, au moyen des èches
situées sous la bande, qu’elle tournera dans le bon sens.
• Tendez la bande avec la manette (11).
• Refermez le couvercle latéral.
4.3 Réglage du déroulement de la bande
Le déroulement de la bande peut être modié au moyen du bouton de réglage (3). Vériez à la main si le déroulement se
fait correctement. Pour le modier, tournez le bouton de réglage (3) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens
contraire.

5 Utilisation de la machine
• Lisez attentivement toutes les consignes de sécurité.
• Mettez des lunettes de sécurité.
• Veillez à avoir une position stable et bien équilibrée.
• Le bord du support de pièce doit être à 1 mm de la bande, pour éviter de coincer la pièce entre le support et la bande.
• Mettez la machine en marche avec l’interrupteur (5).
• Attendez que la bande ait atteint sa vitesse maximale avant de commencer à poncer.
• Tenez à 2 mains la pièce à usiner. Approchez-la de la bande abrasive, sans exercer une pression trop forte.
Un système d’aspiration peut être relié à la buse (4) située en-dessous ou à l’arrière de la machine.
Pour une efcacité optimale, changez la bande abrasive à temps quand elle est usée.
6 Nettoyage, entretien et réparations
ATTENTION !
Débranchez la machine avant tout travail de nettoyage, d’entretien ou de réparation.
6.1 Nettoyage
• Nettoyez la machine après chaque utilisation. Enlevez les copeaux et la poussière avec une petite brosse.
Attention ! Ne retirez pas les copeaux à la main, pour éviter de vous blesser.
• Nettoyez également les buses d’aspiration.
• N’utilisez pas de compresseur pour nettoyer la machine, pour éviter de recevoir des copeaux dans les yeux.
• Videz régulièrement le bac à copeaux.
6.2 Entretien
Suite à l’usure, des travaux d’entretien peuvent s’avérer nécessaire. Ces travaux doivent être effectués par du personnel qualié.
6.3 Réparations

1.1 Introduction
The instruction provides the caution proceeding, operation and services instruction for your belt grinder.
The incorrect operation and services may cause accidents. Before using the machine, user should read the operation manual
carefully and understand all markings and instructions in order to protect himself and the machine rightly. Install, use and
maintain the machine according to the requirement of the instruction. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for damage
caused by negligence and/or the non-observance of the instructions described in the instruction.
Please hand on the operation manual to the end user, and the user should be trained to use the machine before using.
In order to explain the special instructions of the machine, some gures in the manual are incomplete. But the operator must
remember that place all guards and covers in their functional places. Otherwise it may cause hazardous situations.
Illustration and specications are not bonding all details. The items not specied in the manual should be regarded as
prohibited.

1.3 Proper use
The belt grinder is mainly used to conduct surface polishing and grinding of metal in factories, so as to enhance the roughness
and glossiness of spare parts surface. It enjoys high efciency and superior performance in grinding. It is an ideal substitute for
polishing machines.
This machine is only used for general metals grinding within the range of grinding capacity.
Metals with low ignition points such as aluminium, magnesium, etc., are prohibited to be machined.
WARNING!
The machine is not designed to be used in explosive environment.
1.4 Safety instructions
The section of the instruction contains requirements that will help you use the machine safely.
• Belt grinders undergo a security control (hazard analysis with risk assessment). The construction and implementation based
on this analysis correspond to the state of the art.
The machine is carried out with the latest technological advances. Nonetheless, there remains a residual risk, since the grinder
operates with:
• High revolutions,
• Rotating parts,
• An abrasive belt,
• Electrical voltage and currents.
• If the grinder is used by personnel who are not duly qualied, there may be a risk resulting from incorrect operation or
unsuitable maintenance.
• All personnel involved in assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance must be duly qualied and follow this
instruction manual.
• In the event of improper use, there may be a risk to personnel, a risk to machine and other items, and the correct
functioning of the machine may be affected.
• Disconnect the machine whenever cleaning or maintenance work is being carried out.
• Make sure your work does not endanger anyone.
• The instructions in this manual must be observed during assembly, handling, maintenance and repair.
• Do not work on the machine if your concentration is reduced, for example because you are taking medication.
• Observe the rules for preventing accidents issued by your association for the prevention of occupational accidents and
safety in the workplace or other inspection authorities.
• Inform the inspector of any danger or failure.
1.5 Safety devices
The grinder has the following safety devices:
• Main switch with emergency stop.
• Eye protection.
On/off switch
The switch is provided with an emergency stop. Open the lid of the emergency stop to start the machine.
WARNING!
The belt grinder keeps running for 30 seconds after the emergency stop has been pressed.
Eye protection glass
The safety glass protects the user from chips and sparks into eyes. Also wear safety glasses.

WARNING!
The machine may only be used with the safety devices activated.
Disconnect the machine whenever you detect a failure in the safety devices or when they are not
tted!
All additional installations carried out by the operator must incorporate the prescribed safety
devices.
If you bypass, remove or override a safety device in any other way, you are endangering yourself
and other personnel working with the geared drill. The possible consequences are
• Injuries due to the abrasive belt,
• Injuries due to ying chips,
• Hand injuries,
• Fatal electrocution.

3 Unpacking and installation
• Remove the machine from the packaging and check if it was not damaged during transportation. In case of problems,
contact your dealer immediately.
• Install the machine in a place with maximum 60% humidity and an ambient temperature between 0 and 40 °C.
• Secure the machine on a workbench or stand, that also should be attached on the ground for better stability.
4 Settings before use
WARNING!
Before any setting on the machine, unplug it to avoid injury.
4.1 Choice of grinding belt
Always choose a suitable grinding belt for the job to do. For example, a coarse grit for stock removal and a ne grit for nish
grinding.
4.2 Changing the grinding belt
• Switch off and unplug the machine.
• Loosen the screw on the opposite side to the motor to release the side cover.
• Turn the handle (11) to loosen the grinding belt.
• Remove the old belt and place the new one, aligning it correctly. With the arrows below the belt, check if it turns in the
right direction.
• Adjust the belt tension with the handle (11).
• Close the side cover.
4.3 To set the belt running
The belt running can be changed using the setting knob (3). Check by the hand if the running is correct. To change the belt
running, turn the setting knob (3) clockwise or counterclockwise.

5 Operation
• Read all safety instructions carefully.
• Put on safety glasses.
• Make sure you have a stable and well-balanced position.
• The edge of the workpiece support plate should be at 1 mm of the belt, to avoid that the workpiece is trapped between the
support plate and the belt.
• Turn the machine on with the main switch (5).
• Wait until the grinding belt has reached its maximum speed before grinding.
• Hold the workpiece with 2 hands. Bring the workpiece against the grinding belt, without exerting too much pressure.
A suction system can be connected to the suction nozzle (4) below or at the rear of the machine.
For optimal efciency, change the grinding belt in time when worn.
6 Cleaning, maintenance and trouble shooting
WARNING!
Unplug the machine before cleaning, maintaining or repairs.
6.1 Cleaning
• Clean the machine after each use. Remove chips and dust with a brush.
Warning! Do not remove chips by hand to avoid injury.
• Also clean the suction nozzles.
• Do not use a compressor to clean the machine, to avoid chips or dust in your eyes.
• Regularly empty the chip container.
6.2 Maintenance
Because of wear, maintenance may be required. This work should be carried out by qualied personnel.
