1 Veiligheid
AANDACHT!
Lees en begrijp alle instructies in deze handleiding voordat u de verwarming monteert, bedient
of onderhoudt. Zorg ervoor dat u de instructies en waarschuwingen die bij het apparaat
meegeleverd zijn in acht neemt. Het niet naleven van deze instructies kan leiden tot brand of een
explosie, die materiële schade en ernstige of dodelijke letsels kan veroorzaken.
GEVAAR!
• Gebruik deze verwarming nooit in een ruimte die ontvlambare dampen kunnen bevatten.
Gevaar voor explosie, brand en verbranding.
• Zorg altijd voor voldoende ventilatie tijdens het gebruik van het apparaat. Gebruik de
verwarming alleen in goed geventileerde ruimtes, de lucht moet tijdens gebruik regelmatig
ververst worden (tweemaal per uur, onvoldoende verbranding door een gebrek aan zuurstof
kan koolmonoxidevergiftiging veroorzaken).
• Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan regen of sneeuw, gebruik het nooit in vochtige plaatsen.
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat onderhoudt of controleert.
• Gevaar voor brand, verbranding, inademing en explosie. Bewaar brandbare stoffen zoals
bouwmaterialen, papier of karton op een veilige afstand van de verwarming. Gebruik de
verwarming nooit in plaatsen die benzine, oplosmiddelen, verf verdunners, stofdeeltjes,
vluchtige of in de lucht zwevende brandbare stoffen of onbekende chemicaliën.
• Dit is een draagbare verwarming zonder ventilatie. Deze gebruikt de lucht (zuurstof) uit
het gebied waar ze gebruikt wordt. Er moet voldoende verbrandingslucht en ventilatielucht
aanwezig zijn.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet in woningen en vrijetijdsvoertuigen.
• Dit apparaat mag gebruikt worden door kinderen ouder dan 8 jaar en personen met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of
mentale capaciteiten of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis als ze onder toezicht staan en geïnstrueerd zijn over het veilige
gebruik van het apparaat en de gevaren ervan begrijpen. Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen. Reiniging en
onderhoud door de gebruiker kunnen niet zonder toezicht door kinderen uitgevoerd worden.
• Bedek de verwarming niet, om oververhitting te voorkomen.
• Kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar moeten uit de buurt van het apparaat gehouden worden, tenzij onder voortdurend toezicht.
• Kinderen van 3 tot en met 8 jaar mogen het apparaat in-/uitschakelen alleen als het in zijn normale positie geplaatst of
geïnstalleerd werd en als zij onder toezicht staan en instructies hebben ontvangen over hoe zij het apparaat veilig kunnen
gebruiken en de gevaren ervan begrijpen. Kinderen tussen 3 en 8 jaar mogen het apparaat niet aansluiten, instellen,
reinigen of onderhouden.

AANDACHT!
Sommige onderdelen van dit product kunnen zeer heet worden en verbrandingen veroorzaken.
Wees vooral voorzichtig als kinderen en kwetsbare personen aanwezig zijn.
AANDACHT!
Een koolmonoxidevergiftiging kan dodelijk zijn.
De eerste symptomen van koolmonoxidevergiftiging zijn vergelijkbaar met die van inuenza met ernstige hoofdpijn
duizeligheid en/of misselijkheid. Dergelijke symptomen kunnen veroorzaakt worden door een technisch probleem.
ALS U DEZE SYMPTOMEN OPMERKT, VERLAAT DAN ONMIDDELLIJK DE KAMER, GA NAAR BUITEN en meldt de
technische dienst dat het apparaat gerepareerd moet worden.
• De ruimte waar de verwarming zich bevindt mag geen brandbare materialen bevatten zoals gas, benzine, verf verdunners
en andere brandbare dampen en vloeistoffen. Gebruik de verwarming niet in een zeer stofge ruimte.
• Blokkeer de luchtstroom (aan de achterzijde van het apparaat) en de luchtinlaat (aan de voorzijde).
• Houd ALTIJD kinderen en dieren uit de buurt van de verwarming.
• Om letstels te voorkomen, draag handschoenen om de verwarming te hanteren. Hanteer nooit een werkend of heet
apparaat, dit kan ernstige letsels veroorzaken.
AANDACHT!
Gevaar voor verbranding/brand/explosie! Gebruik nooit benzien of gelijkaardige brandstoffen
om deze verwarming te gebruiken.
• Deze verwarming mag niet op afgewerkte vloeren gebruikt worden. Gebruik een thermische beschermmat op een
warmgevoelige ondergrond.
• Gebruik het verwarmingsapparaat in overeenstemming met de plaatselijke regels.
AANDACHT!
Gevaar voor elektrische schok! Gebruik een geaard stopcontact.
• Verplaats het apparaat nooit als het warm is.
• Transporteer het apparaat nooit als er brandstof in de tank is.
• Tank NOOIT bij terwijl het apparaat werkt of als het heet is. Het apparaat is ZEER HEET tijdens het gebruik.
• De opslagruimte van bulkbrandstof moet zich op minsten 7,5 meter afstand bevinden van verwarming, fakkels, draagbare
radiatoren en andere ontstekingsbronnen.
• Gebruik alleen een stroomvoeding (spanning en frequentie) in overeenstemming met de op de naamplaat aangegeven
waarden.
• Haal de stekker ALTIJD uit het stopcontact wanneer de verwarming niet gebruikt wordt.
• Laat de verwarming NOOIT onbeheerd achter.
• Gebruik het apparaat op een stabiele en horizontale ondergrond.

【4. Theory of Operation】
Fuel system: This heater is equipped with a high-pressure pump. The pump draws
fuel up from the fuel tank to the nozzle in the burner head. It is sprayed into the
combustion chamber in a fine mist where it is mixed with air for combustion.
Quick-Fire Ignition: A transformer sends high voltage to a two-pronged spark plug.
The spark ignites the fuel/air mixture as it is sprayed into the combustion chamber.
Air System: A blower motor assembly forces air around the combustion chamber,
where it is super-heated and up and around the chamber during operation and also
runs during the cool-down period.

3 Werkingsprincipe
Brandstofsysteem: De verwarming is uitgerust met een hogedrukpomp. De pomp zuigt brandstof uit de tank naar de
sproeier in de branderkop. De brandstof wordt als een jne nevel naar de verbrandingskamer gespoten en gemengd met de
verbrandingslucht.
Snelle ontsteking: Een transformator stuurt hoogspanning naar een dubbele electrodebougie. De vonk ontsteekt het
brandstof/luchtmengsel wanneer het in de verbrandingskamer gespoten wordt.
Luchtsysteem: Een ventilatormotor drukt de lucht rond de verbrandingskamer, waar deze oververhit wordt en omhoog en
rond de verbrandingskamer stroomt tijdens de werking en tijdens de afkoelingsperiode.
Bescherming van de elektrische installatie: Het elektrische systeem van deze verwarming wordt beschermd door
een stroomonderbreker die de systeemcomponenten tegen beschadiging beschermt. Bij een apparaatstoring dient u eerst de
zekering te controleren en indien nodig te vervangen.

4 Montage
1. Monteer de stralende klep boven aan de achterzijde van de stralingsconus met behulp van de 3 meegeleverde schroeven.
2. Bevestig het beschermrooster aan de voorzijde van het apparaat met de meegeleverde schroeven.
3. Plaats de handgreep op de hoofdstructuur en bevestig deze met de meegeleverde schroeven.

【5. FUEL】
▲WARNING: The generator only runs on DIESEL or KEROSENE fuel.
To avoid fire or explosion, use only diesel or kerosene fuel. Do not use gasoline,
naphtha, paint thinners, alcohol or any other combustible liquids.
For low-temperature operation, use antifreeze supplements.

【7. RUNNING THE GENERATOR】
1.1. Observe all safety instruction at all times.

5 Brandstof
AANDACHT!
Het apparaat werkt alleen met DIESEL of PETROLEUM.
Om elk risico op brand of explosie te voorkomen, gebruik alleen diesel of petroleum. Gebruik geen benzine, nafta, verfsolvent,
alcohol of andere brandbare vloeistoffen.
Voor gebruik bij zeer lage temperaturen, gebruik een antivriesmiddeladditief.
6 Bediening
AANDACHT!
Lees hoofdstuk 1 “Veiligheid” aandachtig voordat u het apparaat inschakelt.
6.1 Het apparaat inschakelen
1. Volg altijd de veiligheidsvoorschriften op.
2. Controleer dat er brandstof is in de tank.
3. Sluit de vuldop van de brandstoftank.
4. Sluit de stroomkabel aan (controleer de spanning in de technische gegevens).
5. Zet de ON/OFF schakelaar op ON. Het apparaat moet na een paar seconden aanstaan. Als dit niet het geval is,
raadpleeg hoofdstuk 11: “Probleemidenticatie”.
OPMERKING:
Als het apparaat stopt als gevolg van brandstofuitputting, moet u het uitschakelen, bijtanken en
weer inschakelen (zie paragraaf 6.1).

7 Onderhoud
Laat de verwarming nooit onbeheerd achter!
AANDACHT!
Voer nooit onderhoud uit terwijl het apparaat heet is of aangesloten op de stroomtoevoer.
OPMERKING:
Gebruik alleen originele onderdelen. Het gebruik van andere componenten kan gevaarlijke bedrijfsomstandigheden
veroorzaken en maakt de garantie ongeldig.
Wij stellen het volgende onderhoudsschema voor:
Filter
Het brandstoflter moet minstens tweemaal per seizoen gereinigd worden. Spoel het met schone brandstof.
Als de brandstof verontreinigd is, moet u het lter onmiddellijk reinigen (zie guur 3):
Brandstof / Brandstoftank
Spoel de tank om de 200 bedrijfsuren of wanneer nodig. Spoel deze niet met water maar met schone diesel.
Sproeier
Reinig of vervang de sproeier minstens eenmaal per seizoen. Als de brandstof verontreinigd is, moet u dit onmiddellijk doen.
• Om de sproeier te reinigen, blaas perslucht door de voorkant van de sproeier. Het kan nodig zijn om de sproeier in schone
diesel te weken om vuildeeltjes los te maken.

【Maintenance (Continued)】
Fuel/Fuel Tank – Flush every 200 hours of operation or as needed. Do not water to
flush the tank. Use fresh diesel only.
Nozzle – Nozzles should be cleaned or replaced at least once per heating season.
Contaminated fuel could make this necessary immediately.
- To clean dirt from nozzle, blow compressed air through nozzle front. It may be
necessary to soak nozzle in clean diesel to help loosen any particles.
【10. Long Term Storage】
- Unscrew the Drain Bolt and drain fuel.
- Using a small amount of diesel, rinse and swirl the diesel inside of the Fuel Tank.
Empty the tank completely.
- NEVER MIX WATER WITH DIESEL, as it will cause rust inside the heater.
Never store leftover DIESEL over the summer. Using old fuel can damage your
heater.

8 Langdurige opslag
• Draai de aftapschroef los en leeg de brandstoftank.
• Gebruik een kleine hoeveelheid diesel die u in de brandstoftank schudt om deze te spoelen.
Maak de tank volledig leeg.
• MENG DIESEL NOOIT MET WATER, dit kan roest veroorzaken in het apparaat.
Sla nooit diesel op tijdens de zomer. Het gebruik van oude brandstof kan uw verwarmingsapparaat
beschadigen.
Bewaar het apparaat in een droge en goed geventileerde ruimte.
Zorg ervoor dat de opslagruimte geen stof en corrosieve dampen bevat. Plaats het apparaat in zijn transportverpakking.
Bewaar de handleiding op een gemakkelijk toegankelijke plaats.

Voor onderhoud of reparaties, haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en zorg ervoor dat het
apparaat volledig afgekoeld is.

1 Sécurité
ATTENTION !
Lisez et comprenez toutes les instructions de ce manuel avant d’assembler, de mettre en marche
ou d’entretenir l’appareil de chauffage. Veillez à respecter les instructions et avertissements
fournis avec l’appareil. Le non-respect de ces consignes peut causer un incendie ou une explosion
pouvant provoquer des dommages matériels ainsi que des blessures graves voire mortelles.
DANGER !
• N’utilisez jamais ce chauffage dans un endroit pouvant contenir des vapeurs inammables.
Risque d’explosion, d’incendie et de brûlure.
• Prévoyez toujours une ventilation sufsante pendant l’utilisation de l’appareil. N’utilisez le
chauffage que dans des endroits bien ventilés, l’air doit être régulièrement renouvelé pendant
son utilisation (deux fois par heure, une combustion inadéquate causée par un manque
d’oxygène peut provoquer une intoxication au monoxyde de carbone).
• N’exposez pas l’appareil à la pluie ou à la neige, ne l’utilisez jamais dans un endroit humide.
• Débranchez l’appareil avant l’entretien ou l’inspection de celui-ci.
• Risque d’incendie, de brûlure, d’inhalation et d’explosion. Conservez les combustibles comme
les matériaux de construction, le papier ou le carton à une distance sûre du chauffage.
N’utilisez jamais le chauffage dans des endroits contenant de l’essence, des solvants,
des diluants pour peinture, des particules de poussière, des combustibles volatiles ou en
suspension dans l’air, ou tout autre produit chimique inconnu.
• Ceci est un radiateur portable sans ventilation. Il utilise l’air (l’oxygène) de la zone dans
laquelle il est utilisé. Une quantité sufsante d’air de combustion et de ventilation doit être
fournie.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans les habitation ou les véhicules récréatifs.
• Cet appareil peut être utilisé par les enfants à partir de 8 ans et les personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles

【4. Theory of Operation】
Fuel system: This heater is equipped with a high-pressure pump. The pump draws
fuel up from the fuel tank to the nozzle in the burner head. It is sprayed into the
combustion chamber in a fine mist where it is mixed with air for combustion.
Quick-Fire Ignition: A transformer sends high voltage to a two-pronged spark plug.
The spark ignites the fuel/air mixture as it is sprayed into the combustion chamber.
Air System: A blower motor assembly forces air around the combustion chamber,
where it is super-heated and up and around the chamber during operation and also
runs during the cool-down period.

3 Principe de fonctionnement
Système de carburant : Le chauffage est équipé d’une pompe à haute pression. La pompe aspire le carburant du
réservoir vers l’injecteur dans la tête du brûleur. Le carburant est pulvérisé sous la forme d’un n brouillard dans la chambre de
combustion, où il est mélangé avec l’air de combustion.
Allumage rapide : Un transformateur envoie une haute tension à une bougie à double électrode. L’étincelle enamme le
mélange carburant/air lorsqu’il est pulvérisé dans la chambre de combustion.
Système d’air : Un moteur de souferie propulse l’air autour de la chambre de combustion, où il est surchauffé et où il
circule vers le haut et autour de la chambre de combustion pendant le fonctionnement, ainsi que pendant la période de
refroidissement.
Protection du système électrique : Le système électrique de cet appareil de chauffage est protégé par un disjoncteur qui
protège les composants du système contre les dommages. En cas de panne de l’appareil, commencez par contrôler le fusible
et remplacez-le si nécessaire.

4 Montage
1. Montez le panneau radiant dans le haut à l’arrière du cône radiant à l’aide des 3 vis fournies.
2. Fixez la grille de protection à l’avant de l’appareil avec les vis fournies.

【5. FUEL】
▲WARNING: The generator only runs on DIESEL or KEROSENE fuel.
To avoid fire or explosion, use only diesel or kerosene fuel. Do not use gasoline,
naphtha, paint thinners, alcohol or any other combustible liquids.
For low-temperature operation, use antifreeze supplements.

L’appareil ne fonctionne qu’avec du DIESEL ou du PÉTROLE.
Pour éviter tout risque d’incendie ou d’explosion, n’utilisez que du diesel ou du pétrole. N’utilisez pas d’essence, de naphte, de
solvant pour peinture, d’alcool ou tout autre liquide combustible.
Pour une utilisation à des températures très basses, utilisez un additif antigel.
6 Utilisation
ATTENTION !
Lisez attentivement le chapitre 1 : «Sécurité» avant l’allumer l’appareil.
6.1 Allumer l’appareil
1. Respectez à tout moment toutes les consignes de sécurité.
2. Vériez s’il y a du carburant dans le réservoir.
3. Fermez le bouchon de remplissage du réservoir de carburant.
4. Branchez le câble d’alimentation (vériez la tension dans les données techniques).
5. Mettez l’interrupteur ON/OFF sur ON. L’appareil doit être sous tension après quelques secondes. Si ce n’est pas le cas,
consultez le chapitre 11 : «Identication des problèmes».
REMARQUE :
Si l’appareil s’arrête à cause d’une panne de carburant, éteignez-le, faites le plein et rallumez-le
(voir paragraphe 6.1).

7 Entretien
Ne laissez jamais le chauffage fonctionner sans surveillance !
ATTENTION !
N’effectuez jamais l’entretien pendant que l’appareil est chaud ou qu’il est branché à
l’alimentation électrique.
REMARQUE :
Utilisez uniquement des pièces détachées d’origine. L’utilisation d’autres composants peur entraîner des conditions de
fonctionnement dangereuses et annule la garantie.
Nous suggérons le programme d’entretien suivant :
Filtre
Le ltre à carburant doit être nettoyé au moins deux fois par saison. Rincez-le avec du carburant propre.
Si le carburant est contaminé, vous devez nettoyer immédiatement le ltre (voir gure 3) :
Carburant / Réservoir de carburant
Rincez le réservoir toutes les 200 heures de service ou si nécessaire. Ne le rincez pas avec de l’eau, mais avec du diesel
propre.
Injecteur
Nettoyez l’injecteur ou remplacez-le au moins une fois par saison. Si le carburant est contaminé, vous devez le faire
immédiatement.
• Pour nettoyer l’injecteur, soufez de l’air comprimé par l’avant de l’injecteur. Il peut être nécessaire de faire tremper
l’injecteur dans du diesel propre pour aider à détacher les particules de saleté.

Filter – The Fuel Filter should be cleaned at least twice per heating season by rinsing
it in clean diesel.

【Maintenance (Continued)】
Fuel/Fuel Tank – Flush every 200 hours of operation or as needed. Do not water to
flush the tank. Use fresh diesel only.
Nozzle – Nozzles should be cleaned or replaced at least once per heating season.
Contaminated fuel could make this necessary immediately.
- To clean dirt from nozzle, blow compressed air through nozzle front. It may be
necessary to soak nozzle in clean diesel to help loosen any particles.
【10. Long Term Storage】
- Unscrew the Drain Bolt and drain fuel.
- Using a small amount of diesel, rinse and swirl the diesel inside of the Fuel Tank.
Empty the tank completely.
- NEVER MIX WATER WITH DIESEL, as it will cause rust inside the heater.
Never store leftover DIESEL over the summer. Using old fuel can damage your
heater.

8 Stockage de longue durée
• Dévissez le bouchon de vidange et videz le réservoir de carburant.
• Utilisez une petite quantité de diesel que vous agitez dans le réservoir de carburant pour le rincer.
Videz complètement le réservoir.
• NE MÉLANGEZ JAMAIS LE DIESEL AVEC DE L’EAU, cela peut faire apparaître de la rouille à l’intérieur de l’appareil.
Ne stockez jamais les restes de diesel pendant l’été. L’utilisation d’un vieux carburant peut
endommager votre appareil de chauffage.
Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé.
Assurez-vous que l’endroit de stockage ne contient pas de poussière ni de vapeur corrosive. Placez l’appareil dans son
emballage de transport. Conservez le manuel d’utilisation dans un endroit facilement accessible.

1 Safety
WARNING!
READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL BEFORE ASSEMBLING,
STARTING, OR SERVICING THE HEATER. Be sure to comply with the instructions and warnings
provided with this heater. Failure to comply can result in re and explosion that can cause
property loss, bodily injury, or loss of life.
DANGER!
• Never use the heater where ammable vapours may be present, there is danger of explosion,
re and burning
• Always provide adequate ventilation during the use. Only use the appliance in well ventilated
area, the air must be regular exchanged during the use (two times/one hour, inadequate
burning caused by oxygen shortage can cause carbon monoxide poisoning
• Don’t expose the appliance to rain or snow, never use it in humidity places either.
• Pull out the plug before the routine maintenance and examination.
• Fire, burn, inhalation, and explosion hazard. Keep combustibles, such as building materials,
paper or cardboard, a safe distance away from the heater. Never use the heater in
spaces which contain gasoline, solvents, paint thinners, dust particles, volatile or airborne
combustibles, or any unknown chemicals.
• This is unvented portable heater. It uses air (oxygen) from the area in which it is used.
Adequate combustion and ventilation air must be provided.
• Not for use in homes or recreational vehicles.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of

CAUTION

Carbon monoxide poisoning can prove to be fatal.
First symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning are similar to inuenza with severe headaches, dizziness and/or nausea.
Such symptoms may be caused by generation fault. UPON NOTICING THESE SYMPTOMS, IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE
ROOM AND GO OUTSIDE, next, notify the technical service center that the generator needs to be repaired.
• Keep heater area free from combustible materials such as gas oil, paint thinners and other ammable vapours and liquids.
Dust is combustible. Do not use heater in areas with high dust concentration.
• Do not restrict inlet (rear) or outlet (front) of heater. Heater is never to be used with ductwork.
• ALWAYS keep children and animals away from heater.
• To prevent injury, always wear gloves when handling heater. Never handle an operating or hot heater, as severe burns
may result.

Risk of burns/re/explosion! NEVER use gasoline - other fuels of any kind to operate this heater.
• This heater is not for use on nished oors. Use a heat shielding mat on a heat sensitive oor.
• Use heater in accordance to local codes and federal ordinances.
