grund folgender Punkte:
– Beschädigungen am Gerät durch mechanische Einflüsse und

– Veränderungen am Gerät ohne ausdrückliche Genehmigung
von WAECO International,
– Verwendung für andere als die in der Anleitung beschriebenen
Zwecke.
2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheit
zWenn das Gerät sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist, dürfen
Sie es nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
zSchließen Sie das Gerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Netzteil an das
100-240-V-Wechselstromnetz
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen 12-V-Anschlusskabel an
eine 12-V-Steckdose.
zReparaturen an diesem Gerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften
durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen
können erhebliche Gefahren entstehen.
Wenden Sie sich im Reparaturfall an den Service-Stützpunkt in
Ihrem Land (Adressen auf der Rückseite).
zStellen Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und gegen Spritz-
wasser geschützten Platz auf.
zStellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen
oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrah-
lung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
zAchten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsschlitze nicht abgedeckt
werden.
zDas Gerät ist nicht geeignet für den Lagerung ätzender oder
lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe!

zWenn das Anschlusskabel beschädigt ist, müssen Sie es erset-
zen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Tauschen Sie ein be-
schädigtes Anschlusskabel nur gegen ein Anschlusskabel
gleicher Art und Spezifikation aus.
2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Gerätes
zElektrogeräte sind kein Kinderspielzeug!
Verwahren und benutzen Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reich-
weite von Kindern.
zSchützen Sie das Gerät vor Regen und Feuchtigkeit.

Der Weinklimaschrank ist geeignet für den Einsatz an einem 100-240-V-
Stromnetz oder einer 12-V-Steckdose.
Über zwei Taster kann die gewünschte Temperatur im Bereich von +5 °C bis
+20 °C eingestellt werden. Ein Display zeigt sowohl die gewünschte als auch
die tatsächliche Kühltemperatur an. Bei Bedarf kann die Innenbeleuchtung
eingeschaltet werden.

Der Weinklimaschrank eignet sich dazu, ein bis sechs handels-
übliche Weinflaschen (bis zu einer Länge von 32 cm) zu kühlen
und gekühlt zu halten (max. 18 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur).

Alle im Weinklimaschrank verwendeten Materialien sind unbedenklich für
Lebensmittel. Der Kühlkreislauf ist wartungs- und FCKW-frei.
Der Weinklimaschrank hat folgende Bedienelemente:

Hinweis
Sie können zur Temperaturanzeige zwischen den Werten für °Cel-
sius und °Fahrenheit wählen. Drücken Sie hierzu ca. drei Sekun-
den lang gleichzeitig die Tasten TEMP + und TEMP -.
6 Weinklimaschrank benutzen
Bevor Sie den neuen Weinklimaschrank in Betrieb nehmen, soll-
ten Sie ihn aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem
feuchten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und
Pflege“ auf Seite 9).
6.1 Tipps zum Energiesparen
zWählen Sie einen gut belüfteten Einsatzort.
zÖffnen Sie den Weinklimaschrank nicht häufiger als nötig.
zLassen Sie die Tür nicht länger offen stehen als nötig.

6.2 Weinklimaschrank anschließen
Lebensgefahr!
Hantieren Sie nie mit Steckern und Schaltern, wenn Sie nasse
Hände haben.
➤Kontrollieren Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes, ob die Betriebs-
spannung und die Netzspannung übereinstimmen (siehe Typenschild).
➤Schließen Sie das Gerät wie folgt an:
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Netzteil an das
100-240-V-Wechselstromnetz
– mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen 12-V-Anschlusskabel an
eine 12-V-Steckdose an.
6.3 Weinklimaschrank benutzen
Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder geeigneten
Behältern eingelagert werden.
➤Schalten Sie den Weinklimaschrank ein, indem Sie den Taster „POWER“
(21, Seite 3) drücken.
✓Das Display schaltet sich ein und zeigt die aktuelle Kühltemperatur an.
➤Wenn Sie den Weinklimaschrank ausschalten möchten, drücken Sie den
Taster „POWER“ (21, Seite 3) .
✓Das Display schaltet sich aus.
➤Wenn Sie die Innenbeleuchtung ein- oder ausschalten möchten, drücken
Sie den Taster „LIGHT“ (22, Seite 3).
Temperatur einstellen
Sie können die Temperatur im Bereich von +5 °C bis +20 °C einstellen.
Die Kühlleistung kann beeinflusst werden von
– der Umgebungstemperatur,
– der Menge der zu kühlenden Weinflaschen,
– der Häufigkeit der Türöffnungen.
➤Drücken Sie den Taster „TEMP –“ (23, Seite 3), um die gewünschte
Kühltemperatur um jeweils 1 °C zu verringern, oder drücken Sie den
Taster „TEMP +“ (24, Seite 3), um die gewünschte Kühltemperatur um
jeweils 1 °C zu erhöhen.
✓Das Display zeigt für einige Sekunden die eingestellte gewünschte Kühl-
temperatur in an.

Achtung!
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
oder harten Gegenstände, da diese den Weinklimaschrank
beschädigen können.
➤Reinigen Sie den Weinklimaschrank regelmäßig und sobald er ver-
schmutzt ist mit einem feuchten Tuch.
Sie können die Innenroste entnehmen, um sie leichter zu
reinigen.
➤Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in die Dichtungen tropft. Dies kann
die Elektronik beschädigen.
➤Wischen Sie den Weinklimaschrank nach dem Reinigen mit einem Tuch
trocken.
➤Leeren Sie regelmäßig den Kondenswasserbehälter an der Unterseite
des Gerätes. Ziehen Sie hierzu, bei geöffneter Tür, den Kondenswasser-
behälter vollständig aus dem Gerät (3, Seite 3).
8 Gewährleistung
Es gelten unsere allgemeinen Gewährleistungsbedingungen. Sollte das Pro-
dukt defekt sein, schicken Sie es bitte an die Service-Stützpunkte in Ihrem
Land (Adressen siehe Rückseite der Anleitung) oder an Ihren Fachhändler.
Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende Un-
terlagen mitschicken:
zeine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
zeinen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.
9 Entsorgung
➤Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden
Recycling-Müll.
Wenn Sie das Gerät endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, informieren
Sie sich bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei Ihrem Fach-
händler über die zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.

2.1 General safety
zDo not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
zOnly connect the device as follows:

The wine chamber is designed to be operated from a 100-240 V mains
connection or a 12 V socket.
Two buttons allow you to set the desired temperature within a range from
+5 °C (40 °F) to +20 °C (68 °F). A display shows both the desired and the
current cooling temperature. The interior light can be switched on as needed.
All materials used in the wine chamber are compatible for use with foodstuffs.
The refrigerant circuit is maintenance-free and CFC-free.
The wine chamber has the following control elements:

The wine chamber is designed to keep up to six retail bottles of
wine (up to a length of 32 cm/12.5 inch) cool (max. 18 °C

The wine chamber has the following buttons:

You can switch the temperature display between Celsius and
Fahrenheit. To do this, press the TEMP + and TEMP - buttons
simultaneously for three seconds.
6 Using the wine chamber
Before you switch on your new wine chamber for the first time,
you should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for
hygienic reasons (please also refer to the the “Cleaning and
maintenance” chapter on page 16).
6.1 Energy saving tips
zSelect a well-ventilated location for the device.
zDo not open the wine chamber more often than necessary.
zDo not leave the door open for longer than necessary.
6.2 Connecting the wine chamber
Danger of fatal injuries!
Never handle plugs and switches if you have wet hands.
➤Before you start up the device for the first time, verify that the operating
voltage matches the mains voltage (see type plate).
➤Connect the device as follows:
– With the mains adapter supplied to the 100-240 V AC mains
– With the 12 V lead supplied to a 12 V socket

Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
➤Switch the wine chamber on by pressing the “POWER” button
(21, page 3).
✓The display switches on and shows the current cooling temperature.
➤Switch the wine chamber off by pressing the “POWER” button
(21, page 3).
✓The display switches off.
➤If you wish to turn the interior light on or off, press the “LIGHT” button
(22, page 3).
Setting the temperature
You can set the temperature within a range from +5 °C (40 °F) to +20 °C
(68 °F).
The cooling capacity can be influenced by:
– The ambient temperature
– The number of wine bottles to be cooled
– The frequency with which the door is opened
➤Press the “TEMP –” (23, page 3) button to decrease the desired
cooling temperature by 1 °C (2 °F), or press the “TEMP +” (24, page 3)
button to increase the desired cooling temperature by 1 °C (2 °F).
✓The cooling temperature set at °C or F° then appears in the display for a
few seconds.

Caution!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the wine chamber.
➤As soon as the wine chamber becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth.
The interior racks can be removed to facilitate cleaning.
➤Make sure that no water drips into the sealing. This can damage the
electronics.
➤Wipe the wine refrigerator dry with a cloth after cleaning.
➤Regularly empty the condensation trap on the bottom of the device.
To do this, open the door and pull the condensation trap completely
out of the device (3, page 3).
8 Guarantee
Our general guarantee conditions apply. If the product is defective, please
return it to the service centre in your country (addresses on the back of the
instruction manual) or to your specialist dealer. For repair and guarantee
processing, the following documents must be sent along with the device:
zA copy of the receipt with purchasing date
zA reason for the claim or description of the fault

➤Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins
wherever possible.
If you wish to finally dispose of the device, ask your local
recycling centre or specialist dealer for details about how to
do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.

2 Consignes de sécurité
Attention !
WAECO International décline toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages causés par :
– des influences mécaniques et des surtensions ayant
endommagé le matériel,
– des modifications apportées à l’appareil sans autorisation
explicite de la part de WAECO International,
– des usages différents de ceux décrits dans le manuel.
2.1 Sécurité générale
zSi l’appareil est visiblement endommagé, il est interdit de le
mettre en service.
zBranchez l’appareil uniquement comme indiqué ci-dessous :
– avec le bloc d’alimentation fourni au secteur à courant
alternatif 100 - 240 V
– en raccordant le câble de raccordement fourni sur une prise 12 V.
zSeul un personnel qualifié est habilité à effectuer des
réparations sur cet appareil. Toute réparation mal effectuée
risquerait d’entraîner de sérieux dangers.
Si des réparations sont nécessaires, adressez-vous à la
filiale chargée du service après-vente dans votre pays
(adresses au verso).
zInstallez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et à l’abri des
éclaboussures d’eau.
zNe placez pas l’appareil près de flammes ou d’autres sources
de chaleur (chauffage, rayons solaires, fours à gaz, etc.).
zAssurez-vous que les fentes d’aération ne sont pas
recouvertes.
zNe pas utiliser l’appareil pour le stockage de produits
caustiques ou de solvants !

zAvant de mettre l’appareil en service, vérifiez que la tension
de service et la tension secteur sont identiques (voir plaque
signalétique).
zSi le câble de raccordement est endommagé, vous devez le
remplacer afin d’éviter tout danger. Ne remplacez un câble de
raccordement endommagé que par un câble de raccordement
de même type et de même spécification.

L’armoire à vin est conçue pour une utilisation sur secteur 100 - 240 V
ou sur une prise de courant 12 V.
Le réglage de la température est opéré par deux touches, sur une plage
allant de +5 °C à +20 °C. L’affichage indique la valeur de température
souhaitée ainsi que la valeur de température présentée par l’appareil.
L’éclairage intérieur peut être allumé si nécessaire.

L’armoire à vin est conçue pour refroidir et conserver à basse
température une à six bouteilles de vin standard (longueur
maximale : 32 cm, au maximum 18 °C en dessous de la
température ambiante).
