4.Overview
The Lockable WC lid is a cover plate which is designed to temporary and completely close
off the WC bowl from the user, thus safely bringing the WC out of service.
The easy to install Lockable Lid is of a robust, anti-ligature, vandal resistant design which
positively locates and locks onto the WC bowl. The lid is locked into position on the WC by
means of a ‘J’ bolt being clamped onto the lower lip on the rear face of the bowl.
Locking and unlocking is via a single anti-tamper captive lock bolt recessed on the top face
of the cover plate. A torque wrench, part number DL7543 available from Wallgate, is used
to tighten the lock bolt to the required torque which secures and locks the lid in position.
The product is manufactured from strong and corrosion resistant materials.
The unit is compatible with the following Wallgate WC products:
CWCP100, CWCP150, CWCP151, CWCP170, CWC-80, CWC-100, CWC-150, CWC-151,
