Replacing TPR(1、3、5) Mechanical Seal
1. Removing mech seal. WI-D3-S-B048E-1
Placing pump onto platform.
Using cross screwdriver to remove two protective
covers.
Using No.6 Allen wrench to remove 4 screws
(counterclockwise), coupling, and pin.
Using 13mm open wrench to remove 4 screws of
motor.
Removing the motor.
Using No.2.5 Allen wrench to release socket set
screws (counterclockwise).
※Don’t remove the screws, just releasing.

Remove the shaft seal set on the pump head
Using 36mm Sleeve to release mech seal set
(counterclockwise), then removing it.
Removing mech seal.
Finishing mech seal disassembling.

2. Assembling mech seal.
Taking a new mech seal,applying neutral lubricant
(eg: Vaseline) on O ring. Applying anti-Seize lubricant
on the thread.
Make the threads of fixed seat and pump head be
aligned firstly.
Screw the shaft seal set with a sleeve
Installing the motor.
※The position of the T seat should be the same
as the position before the disassembly
Take four motor fixing screws
Using 13mm open wrench to tighten 4 screws of
motor to 120kgf/cm torque force.

Putting the pin in the coupling to make coupling and
pin hole can fit together.
Take 4 hexagon socket screws.
Assembling on coupling.
※Don’t tighten hexagon head screws, just slightly
locking.
Using a flat-blade screwdriver to push the coupling
to the highest point
Using a flat-blade screwdriver to push the coupling to
the lowest point
Take the middle of the highest and lowest points

Using No.6 Allen wrench to tighten 4 screws with
310kgf/cm torque force. (in the order of diagonal)
Adjusting the same width of coupling spacing.
Correct spacing adjusting.
Wrong spacing adjusting.
Using No.2.5 Allen wrench to tighten averagely 3
socket set screws with 25kgf/cm torque force
(clockwise).
Rotate the coupling slightly by hand and rotate to see
if there is interference.

Taking 2 protective cover and 4 screws.
Using cross screwdriver to tighten 2 protective
covers with 20 kgf/cm torque force.
Finishing mech seal assembling.
