3 Safety Gu del nes
Configuring an operating this equipment requires prec se knowledge an observance
of the instructions in this user manual. The equipment is esigne only for its inten e
application.

Make sure that the equipment is connecte to the correct power source.

5 Appl cat on
KV units are use exclusively in ental laboratories to provi e a blister-free, homogenous
compoun which is the prerequisite for a smooth finish on casts. In a ition, all vibrators
are fitte on the left-han si e with a stainless steel han le which can be use when
removing casts.
Only use the evice for this type of application.
6 Before Start ng
6.1 Transport
Before transporting the unit, ensure that it has been unplugge from the power socket.
Make sure that it is packe correctly in or er to avoi acci ental amage.
Be sure to check for any transport amage when unpacking the goo s. Note own
any amage if foun .
The han le is not inten e for carrying the unit. Its mounting points are not
esigne to take the weight of the unit, which coul be roppe as a result.
6.2 Installat on
Open the box, remove the packing materials, an carefully lift out the evice an
accessories. Check the inclu e accessories.
The evice has to stan horizontally on a stea y an even surface.

Install the evice in a place where it will not block the working area an the
functionality (take the imensions into account).
Do not install the unit out oors or in places without proper ventilation.
Before start-up, be sure the evice reaches room temperature.
6.3 Storage
If the unit is to be store for an exten e perio , protect it from moisture an ust.
7 Installat on/ Start-up
Insert the power plug into the socket, making sure that the mains an the unit
operate on the same voltage.
8 Operat on
8.1 General Operat ng Instruct ons
All instructions for using the unit, whether in verbal or written form, are base on our own
experience an experimentation an can only be regar e as gui elines.
Place the container on the vibrating table or attach it to the han le (the intensity is varie
by pressing the container on the vibrating surface).
Note: When mixing materials or removing casts using vibrators, there will be almost zero
air isturbance.
If the unit is not going to be use for an exten e perio , remove the plug from the socket.

8.2 KV-16
Switch the unit on:
KV-16: Turn knob 1-0-2 to select the vibrations per minute.
(1 = 3000 vibrations/min. - 2 = 6000 vibrations/min.)
8.3 KV-26
Switch the unit on:
KV-26: Turn knob 1-0-2 to select the vibrations per minute.
(1 = 3000 vibrations/min. - 2 = 6000 vibrations/min.)
8.4 KV-36
Switch the unit on:
KV-36 :
Turn left-han knob 1-0-2 to select the vibrations per minute.
(1 = 3000 vibrations/min. - 2 = 6000 vibrations/min.)
Select the vibration intensity using the right-han knob (with the arrow).
(Turn left for lower intensity or right for increase intensity.)

10 Care and Ma ntenance
10.1 Clean ng
Disconnect the power plug before starting any maintenance work.
The i entification plate has always to be kept in easily legible con ition an has
not to be remove .
Remove external irt from time to time with some form of col cleaner.
Use only col cleaners to avoi amaging the paintwork or removing the lettering.
The equipment shoul be cleane at regular intervals to ensure trouble-free
operation.
It requires only normal cleaning (sponge, amp cloth, mil etergent) an no further
chemical a itives.

10.1.1 Clean ng the Rubber Plates
To make cleaning the rubber plates easier, they can simply be remove from the vibrating
table an reinstalle after cleaning.
10.2 Ma ntenance
The unit oes not require any servicing. Just make sure that the evice is kept clean.
10.3 Repa rs
Servicing or repairs to the unit has only to be carrie out by qualifie technicians.
Only original spare parts are to be use . Responsibility for the pro uct is voi e
if unauthorise persons alter it or if inappropriate components are installe .

10.6 Warranty
The warranty perio for our equipment is 12 months. If faults occur within the
warranty perio , contact your ental epot or get in touch irectly with our service
epartment.
Your equipment shoul only be operate in perfect con ition. If faults occur which
coul harm operators or thir parties, the unit shoul not be use until it has been
fixe .
This warranty oes not cover amage cause by improper use, external mechanical
causes, transport amage or interference with the unit by unauthorize persons.
