User Manual
Easy to install — simply peel and stick the Smart Window Vibration Sensor to any window. The sensor detects
vibrations sends mobile phone notication and emits a 130 dB alarm to alert you of potential break-ins and
frighten intruders.

Safety Information
• Keep the Smart Window Vibration Sensor away from high temperature locations to avoid battery
leakage orcombustion.Donotmountnear chimneys,exhausts,airconditioners,open-amegrills,boilers,or
furnaces.
• Disassembling the Smart Window Vibration Sensor is not recommended as it may cause damage to
internal components. The Smart Window Vibration Sensor may not function properly after disassembly.
• Make sure the Smart Window Vibration Sensor is properly installed onto the window to achieve
maximum results.
• Automatically triggers an alarm and sends a push notication (via Wstein app) when the window sensor
detects vibration or is meddled with.
• On and o switch settings to disable the alarm as needed.

Important Tips:
No wiring needed, simply peel and stick the alarm onto any window or glass.
Installation and First Time Use
• Remove the battery insulating pull tabs at the front of the vibration sensor.
• Turn on the device through the on/o switch button.
1. Remove the plastic cover from white side of the double-sided sticker. Apply the tape to the rear side of the
alarm unit.
2. Wipe the mounting surface clean of dust and other particles that will interfere with the tape’s
adhesiveness. Cleaning alcohol or similar products are recommended.
3. Remove the plastic cover from the other side of the double-sided sticker and mount the alarm to the
window you wish to monitor.
4. Press evenly with your palm and hold in place for at least 30 seconds.
5. Your Smart Window Vibration Sensor is now ready for use.
• Open and close the window to make sure the sensor works as expected.
• Please note that the indicator light should be blinking.
• All components are for indoor use only. Do not install outdoors.
• Test the alarm periodically (every 1 - 2 months and each time you change the batteries) to ensure it is working properly.

5. Battery Precautions
• When battery replacement is needed, replace both AAA batteries together for the best battery lifetime.
• The design allows for battery replacement without removing the alarm from the window.
• The LED indicator will blink continuously indicating a low battery and will send a notication straight to
the user’s phone through the Wstein app.
• Use only the appropriate size batteries.
• Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries. Incorrect polarity may cause damage
to the alarm.
• Do not mix dierent types of batteries, such as alkaline with carbon-zinc or old batteries with new.
• Do not recharge batteries not intended to be recharged as they can overheat and rupture.
• Batteries may result in heat generation, explosion or re, resulting in personal injuries.
• Batteries must not be recharged, disassembled or disposed of in re. Disposal of used batteries must be
made in accordance with the waste recovery and recycling regulations of your area.
• Keep away from small children. If batteries are swallowed, promptly seek medical attention.
When using this product follow these precautions at all times:
App Pairing
• The Wstein app is the central hub for your smart home devices.
• Control all your Wasserstein smart devices from one app.
Step 1: Download“Wstein” from the App Store, Google Play Store, or simply scan this QR code
for installation.
• Make sure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network.
Step 2: Connect your mobile device to your home Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Open the app and create a new Wstein Account.
Step 4: Connect the Smart Window Vibration Sensor to the Wstein app.
• Open the Wstein app, select “Register” - “Agree”.
• Type in your email address or mobile number and follow the steps to complete the process.
1. Press “Add Device” or “+” on the upper right corner.
2. Select Smart Window Vibration Sensors on the app.
3. Select your home’s Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password.
4. Press and hold the sync button located in the middle of the sensor
for 5-10 seconds, until the red LED blinks.
5. Once synced, tap on the “NEXT” icon on your mobile phone to
enable connection to the sensor.

Warning and Notication
Whenever the Smart Window Vibration Sensor detects unexpected vibration, it will send notication alerts to
your phone and activate the local alarm.
Note: The high/low sensitivity setting helps prevent false triggers on windy days.
You can adjust the settings through the sensitivity dial located at the right side of the sensor.
“+” denotes high sensitivity
“-” denotes low sensitivity
• If the Smart Window Vibration Sensor detects vibration:
a. A push notication will be sent to your phone.
b. A loud 130 dB alarm will sound continuously for 30 seconds.
1. You can group multiple Smart Window Vibration Sensors together to have simultaneous access and
control over them.
2. In the Wstein app, press the button on the upper right corner then press “Create Group”.
3. Select your chosen window vibration sensors from the list and press “Save”.
4. Rename the group as you desire and press“Save”.

FAQ
Q: I have problems connecting the device to the Wstein app.
Q: What if I still cannot connect to the Wstein app?
Q: What if I have problems nding“SmartLife-XXXX”?
Q: The unit does not sound when the batteries are installed.
Q: The red light on the base of the alarm unit keeps on blinking.
AP Mode:
• Make sure you are connected to a 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network. The pairing will not work with a 5 Ghz Wi-Fi
network. Make sure the Smart Window Vibration Sensor is powered on with sucient battery levels.
• Keep the Wstein app open for around three minutes. Then try reconnecting the Smart Window Vibration
Sensor again.
• Place your smartphone next to the sensor and make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi
network. Try opening a webpage to check that the Wi-Fi network is online.
1. Unpair your Smart Window Vibration Sensor from the Wstein app by pressing“Remove Device” and follow
the instructions in the “App Pairing”section of the user manual.
2. If the problem persists, try reconnecting the Smart Window Vibration Sensor using the AP mode. The
pairing process must be completed within three minutes after the device is in AP mode.
• You can nd “Unidentied-XXXX” or other similarly named networks in your Wi-Fi list. These networks are
not password protected.
• Ensure that the batteries are connected correctly.
• This is the “Battery Low Indicator”. The batteries need replacing.
• Press the sync button for 5-10 seconds, until the indicator light ashes quickly.
• Press the sync button for another 5-10 seconds until the light ashes slowly now.
• Press “Add Device” in the Wstein app.
• Click “AP Mode”in the top right-hand corner.
• Select your home’s WiFi network and enter your Wi-Fi Password.
• Go to your Wi-Fi setting and connect to “SmartLife_XXXX”.
• Go back to the app and nish the nal connection.
